The first year proved to be quite vigorous, moving at a rapid pace. Both Harry and Hermione flourished with the material and the specialized instructions. They each were working towards several masteries: potions (both), runes & arithmancy (Mia), charms (Harry), transfiguration (both), DADA (Harry).
Physically, their bodies had changed dramatically over the year. Mia's body slimmed down showing the emergence of muscles with a touch of feminine softness.
Harry's body underwent sever changes. Severus was adamant about his health before allowing him to begin the physical conditioning. The first month Harry focused on eating healthy and taking the numerous nutrient potions from the goblins and the restoration potions Severus brewed. He grew four inches and gained fifty pounds alone! Satisfied, Severus started him on a custom training course.
By the end of the year, Mia had reached her magical maturity. Even the suppression potions were doing little to suppress the need to bond with her two mates. The trio decided to halt at the end of the year to make further plans regarding their binding and the emerging inheritances.
"Mum!" Mia strolled through the manor peeking into each room as she passed, Severus and Harry close behind. After three hallways and whoever knows how many rooms, she was still searching for her parentals. "Zeus!"
The master elf appeared before her. "Yes Mistress?"
"Do you know where my parents are today?"
"Oh yes! They are in the west wing library." Several twists and turns and the pair stood at the library doors.
"Thank you Zeus." She dismissed the elf as she pushed open the heavy oak door.
Her parents turned as the door swung open. "Mia! I thought you were training! Is something wrong? Did something happen?" Simone grew panicked at the appearance of the group.
Mia laughed before embracing her mother. "Relax mum. My suppression potions have become ineffective. If we use the next three days to prepare, would it be possible to have a small ceremony on Friday?"
"You know what that means…" Simone and Hermione gave conspiratorial grins before facing Levi.
"Shopping. Lots and lots of shopping!" They yelled together. Levi just shuddered.
"Oh no you don't!" Simone commanded. "As the bride's parents we have several special purchases to make dear husband. So don't think you'll be getting out of this anytime soon. Plus you'll need to instruct your new son-in-laws in court dress."
He just shook his head. "Are you sure about this bonding Mia? Wouldn't you rather just live your lives in sin with both males?"
The others collapsed on the couch laughing at him. "Nice to know you'd condone that Dad just to get out of a bit of shopping."
The two women took several minutes to calm back down before making the plans for the next two days. "Mum, Dad, do you think this would be an appropriate time to purchase Harry a more permanent wardrobe or should we wait a bit longer?"
Casting speculative glances at Harry they gave it some thought. "Why don't we see how he looks tomorrow and then make that decision. Today you can just get the items you'll need for the bonding ceremony and spend the day focusing on you?"
Mia bounded over to her father and gave him a large hug. "Thanks Dad! That sounds brilliant even though you did get out of one day of shopping."
"Why doesn't Levi join Harry and I in the time room for the next year/day? He could take this time to instruct us in the ceremonial court dress, rituals, and duties as well as to help prepare Harry for his impending inheritance?" Sev interjected.
"Good idea Severus. I think that would be incredibly smart." Simone agreed.
Levi jumped up. "Well if that settles it, let's get going boys. Ladies have a fabulous time shopping!" The others laughed as he practically ran from the room.
Hermione and Simone spent the day scouring the fashion capitals of the world for Mia's new wardrobe; wizarding and muggle. It was while they were relaxing at the spa that the discussion turned to her bonding robes. The pair parried back and forth on different styles before settling on a mandarin style robe. It was also decided to employ Dolci as Mia had been extremely impressed by the wizard.
In the time room the men were having a great time bonding and training. Levi instructed both in demonic culture and the overall expectations they would be faced with as Mia's husbands. During this time Harry continue to grow before reaching a solid six foot three, a mere two inches shorter than Severus. As their year drew to a close, both Levi and Severus began to prepare for Harry's coming of age. The room created a solitary room with reinforced walls for him. Using a combination of magics, the two men warded the room to prevent any leakage from occurring and destroying something.
Overall the preparations were successful and the wild magic contained. The man who appeared from the room nearly gave Sev a heart attack. Instantly he felt drawn to this new adult Harry and it took all his will power to restrain himself.
The men joined the ladies in the dining room for the midday meal. The tension between the three mates was palpable to everyone.
"I'm so glad the bonding is only a couple days away," murmured Simone to Levi.
He chuckled. "It will be interesting that's for sure."
With immense discipline the three each sat at the table to eat their lunch. "Harry have you decided who you'd like to stand with you for the ceremony?" Mia asked.
He nodded. "I was planning on writing Sirius and Remus today. I know I need to verify their loyalties but then I was going to invite them here. Is this okay Sev?"
Severus sneered. "Wonderful. Both the mutt and the wolf in my house. Yes Harry its fine."
Finishing up quickly, Harry excused himself from the table to send off his letter.
Remus~
I need a favor from you. Could you and Padfoot meet me at 10am in the Dursleys' backyard? Please don't tell anyone about this!
~Harry
"What do you think is going on Pads?" He asked as he handed the note over to Sirius.
Sirius scratched his head. "Not sure but we'll be there. It'll be nice to get out of this bloody tomb!"
Scribbling a short note of acceptance on the back of the parchment, Remus tied it back on Hedwig's leg before shooing her out the window.
The next morning dawned bright and sunny. After finishing up his morning ablutions, Harry walked down to the breakfast room.
"Good morning Harry! Hedwig returned with a reply last night." Levi motioned to the snowy owl perched on the back of Harry's usual chair.
Filling his plate from the buffet, he seated himself. He offered several bites to the owl before relieving her of the letter.
"They'll be there."
"Great! We'll finish up here and then be on our way."
After both plates were completely empty the pair stood. With one hand on Harry's shoulder, Levi transported them to a darkened corner of the Dursley's backyard. A few flicks of the wrist and Levi had secured the entire yard from prying eyes and ears. He then conjured a couple of loungers for the pair to relax in as they waited.
At precisely ten Remus and Sirius appeared. Harry quickly greeted the pair before introducing Levi. "Remus, Sirius I would like you to meet Levi Granger, Hermione's father."
Levi stepped from the shadows. Sensing the demon within, Moony instantly stiffened with tension. "Mr. Lupin and Lord Black. It is a pleasure to meet you both."
Remus gave him a short nod warily assessing the man.
Greeting Levi warmly, Sirius turned to Remus. His canine senses could feel the tension rolling off the werewolf. "Moony?"
With a smirk Harry drew his attention. "Everything will be explained in due time. Now let me ask you both a very serious question." He gave them each a hard speculative stare. "How entrenched in Dumble's camp are you two?"
At this both instantly straightened seeing Harry was serious. In that split second a mental decision was made.
"Pup, we're only there if you're there. Our allegiance lies with you. Never ever doubt that."
Remus vigorously nodded. "He's right cub. Pads and I would do anything for you."
Harry gave a sigh of relief before grabbing both in a large hug. "You don't know how happy that makes me to hear that. Now before we can go any further I need an oath of secrecy from both of you."
Both men quickly gave their oaths. Within seconds the small group had disappeared from the Dursleys' and reappeared in the apparition room of the Snape estate.
Harry turned to Levi. "Where should we do this?"
"Most likely the solar study. If you want to head that way I will make arrangements for lunch for you three." Levi offered.
"Great! Thank you sir." Motioning to Remus and Sirius, Harry led them from the room.
In the study, the three each settled into a lounger. Sirius began the questioning, starting with Remus. "What was that with Moony earlier?" His head whipped around to look at his godson, "And how are you here but also at the Dursleys'?"
Harry chuckled. "I can answer both of those but I'll have to start at the beginning as everything must be explained in the proper sequence. Afterwards if you have any more questions I'll answer them." The next hour was spent explaining the final week of school and the events up until that moment. He described the machinations of the Weasleys and Dumbledore. He paused at the arrival of their lunch fare. "How about we stop there and eat? This way you two can absorb everything so far."
The pair nodded. Both were completely bewildered and angry by the things they had heard. Lunch was a silent affair with both men sorting through memories and analyzing everything. When lunch was completed and the empty dishes had vanished, Harry sat back in his lounger.
"Are you both okay to continue? I have much much more to impart."
Remus and Sirius paled at the mention of more treacherous news but gave him the go ahead to continue.
"Now I know it seems like I'm just a fount of bad news, but I'm not." The only responses were a couple of raised brows. "The trip to Gringotts was actually extremely insightful. Not only was I able to claim my rightful inheritance and become emancipated, but I was also seen by a goblin healer. He was very helpful in correcting the damage done by the old man, the weasels, and my 'loving' family." Summoning his glass, he took a sip of water. "I was prescribed several nutrient potions to help overcome the years of neglect and malnutrition."
Sirius surreptitiously wiped at his eyes.
"The healer, through a blood analysis, was also able to ascertain my hereditary traits and any possible creature inheritances."
Remus sat up straighter at this. "Creature inheritances?" He turned to Sirius. "Did James have any creature blood Pads?"
Sirius shook his head. "Not that I knew of. If he did, he kept those cards close to his chest." He focused back on Harry. "What were the results?"
Knowing his godfathers like he did, Harry quickly summoned Zeus for a bottle of brandy and a trio of snifters. Pouring each three fingers, he distributed the glasses. "By my actions, I'm sure you can gather the results were quite staggering." He took a swallow of the stout liquor. "I have the possibility of four different inheritances: high elf, vampire, Ancient, and Angelus."
Harry scrambled to save the glasses as both Remus and Sirius went into shock. Placing both on the table, he sat and waited.
"What?!" Sirius was the first to recover. "Holy Merlin Harry! You definitely don't do normal."
Remus could only stare at the young lord with his mouth agape. Slowly he extended his hand accioing his glass before wordlessly draining it. "So what does this mean Harry?"
"Overall it means that my magical maturation has the possibility of being unpredictable and highly explosive." Harry gave them a second. "But that's why I'm here."
The pair just waited.
"Within this manor is a special time room. For every day outside it is a full year within. I've already spent the equivalent of two years learning and training. Using special precautions, I have also experienced my maturation."
"And?" Both men were barely containing their excitement as they bounced on the edges of their chairs.
"Voila!" Harry lowered the Boy-Who-Lived glamours. His new six foot three muscled frame appeared.
"Whoa!"
"That's an understatement Pads!" Remus took in Harry's new appearance. "What about your inheritances?"
"Well…." Harry hedged before standing up. "Aside from slightly sharper teeth and a preference for more rare meat, my enhanced powers are really the only big difference."
Both Sirius and Remus nodded their heads, eyes still wide in amazement at the changes in their godson.
"Moving on though, let's get back to Moony's strange reaction to Levi." Both marauders sat up a bit. "Levi is a demon and Moony feels threatened by him." At this announcement, Sirius made a wobbly grab for the brandy bottle only to fall flat on his face.
Harry howled in laughter as Remus tugged the poor man back into his chair. "Merlin Harry! A demon?"
"He's also Hermione's father."
Remus joined Sirius on the ground. "Oh Pads, I'm not sure how much more we can take. Our old bones are too frail to handle such abuse."
Slipping back into his chair with a full glass, Harry continued to watch the pair untangle themselves while mentally sorting out this new tidbit of information. Finally they gestured for him to carry on.
"Would you prefer the last bit of startling information or something much more calm and soothing?" He enquired.
Throwing back several more fingers of alcohol, Sirius snorted. "Might as well shock us first so you can calm us down afterwards."
An evil grin overtook Harry's face, at which both Remus and Sirius groaned. "As you both should know, with a creature inheritance comes a mate."
A door behind Harry slowly opened and Hermione slipped in quietly. The tension flowed from both men as they stood to welcome her.
"Hermione! What a wonderful surprise!" Sirius exclaimed wrapping the young woman in his arms. He quickly passed her off to Remus before looking at Harry. "I thought you were going to tell us the more shocking news first?"
Harry kept his gaze on Remus, curious as to Moony's reaction to Hermione. As the wolf gathered the young bookworm in his arms, his back stiffened slightly. For several seconds neither moved before Remus gradually relaxed. Finally, Harry acknowledged his godfather. "I'm in the process." He gestured to the other two.
Both turned their attention to the others. They watched as Moony drew closer to Hermione taking a big whiff of her scent. Pulling back he stared at the young lady in front of him. "Hermione?"
"It's quite alright Moony." She reassured him, giving his hands a gentle pat before returning to Harry's side. "I know Harry told you my father was a demon, but let me explain a bit more. I am a succubus; however, when mated a succubus will only feed from their mates."
Remus just scratched his head.
"Uh, not to be rude Hermione, but aren't succubus suppose to be other-worldly and blindingly beautiful?" Sirius' mental filter had apparently stopped working.
Hermione and Harry both broke down. The sounds of their laughter finally snapped both men out of their stupors. After several minutes the dynamic duo wiped the tears from their eyes and began to explain a bit more.
"You are correct Pads. My parents decided I should hide my true identity and background when I started Hogwarts. I've been using a glamour ever since first year." She smirked at their disbelief. "And here I am!" Without any warning she dropped all the charms, revealing her true self.
Merriment shone in Harry's eyes as he helped the wolf and grim sop up the drool running down their chins. "You can keep the handkerchiefs guys."
Sirius giving a low whistle. "Now that is a succubus!"
"And she's taken!" Smirked Harry. She gave Harry's side a little squeeze. "Now back to the shocker. I also have a second mate."
Again the door behind the pair opened and a tall dark haired male entered the room. After a once over, both Remus and Sirius both gave a low whistle. "You certainly have some tasty mates Harry," began Remus, "However, this one smells quite familiar."
Startled, Sirius took a deep breath, inhaling the newcomer's scent. "You're right Moony."
"Gentlemen, let me introduce you to my second mate, Severus Antonio Snape."
The silence was deafening as both marauders' eyes rolled back and they listlessly slipped from their chairs to the floor.
"Well that certainly went better than anticipated," mocked Severus.
Harry and Hermione just agreed. Silently and wandlessly, the trio levitated the pair onto their loungers and sat back to watch the show.
Smirking, Severus quickly combined their three chairs into one large recliner, pulling both Harry and Hermione snug against him.
A minute later the animagus and werewolf stirred. Hand to his forehead, Sirius cautiously sat up. "Agh! Remus what happened? I just had the worst nightmare! I saw this dashing bloke who not only claimed to be my godson's mate but he was Snivellous!" Silence followed. Sirius straightened up, looking at Remus. "Remus?"
"I don't think that was a nightmare Pads." Remus muttered pointing across the table from them.
Slowly, his head swiveled to face the three leers aimed in his direction. He collapsed back against the seat. "Oh damn."
Snickering, Harry sat forward, "And Sirius?"
"Yes?"
"His name is Severus. Not Snivellous."
Contrite, Sirius just nodded.
At this Remus cut in. "How about that other calming news you had Harry?"
"Well…" Hermione cast a quick look at Harry before continuing. "Since we spent the last two days in the time room, both Harry and I have reached our magical maturation and the three of us would like to have the bonding ceremony tomorrow."
Harry took over. "And I wanted to ask if you two would stand with me as my family?"
"Hell yes Harry!" Sirius exclaimed, jumping from his seat.
Remus just nodded vigorously.
"Wonderful! Tomorrow morning we were planning on getting the final details resolved before the ceremony in the evening."
Scratching his head, Sirius gave the three another once over. "Um, Harry. Is there a room here I can retire to?"
Harry just turned questioning eyes to Severus.
"Zeus!" The house elf appeared almost silently.
"Yes Master Snape?"
"Please show Lord Black and Mr. Lupin to their rooms." He turned to the pair. "You will have a house elf assigned to your rooms if you need anything. They will also show you to the dining room for dinner tonight."
"Thank you Severus." Remus replied. Sirius bobbed in agreement. The two then followed the elf out the door.
