John's eyes found Dean's in the moonlight. He nodded to the trees, silently instructing Dean to take up the right flank. A flick of his head sent Sam left. They split. As Dean breached the forest, his dad's screams rang out and he struggled forward. Unseen briars grabbed his coat and vines ensnared his ankles. Cold leaves brushed his face and he panted with effort and fear.

"Shhhhh." Sam's voice echoed quietly and Dean stilled to listen.

"Sam?"

"Dean? You're dreaming."

Dean pushed awake.

Sam's eyes found his. He nodded to the bathroom, wordlessly instructing Dean to take a shower.
