A/N: This is a sequal of sorts to "Trust", seeing as it's a continued story line of the Titans wondering about Robin's secret identity, and if they can trust him or not. But, I just saw Batman Begins, so I HAD to work Batman in somehow ^^ REVIEW PLEASE! CC very welcome ;)

Cyborg and Beastboy exchanged glances. Robin had been locked in his room for over 27 hours, and the team was past the point of "starting to worry".

"Star?" Beastboy asked, glancing quickly over at the Tamaranean girl.

"Star," Cyborg agreed, nodding his head once to signal his agreement.

"Hey, Star!" Beastboy bounced over to were Starfie was sitting on the couch, watching an "opera of soaps".

Starfire turned her wide, green eyes to the small green teen. "Yes, Beastboy?"

Beastboy pointed in the general direction of Robin's room. "It's been 27 hours 32 mins and..." Beastboy glanced at the clock and paused for a moment, then continued talking, saying, "and 30 sec-wait, 31, 32, 33, 34- anyway, Robin STILL won't come out of his room! He won't talk to any of us! Not even Raven. I've tried giving him food, Cy's tried breaking the door down... nothing! Could you go see what's wrong?"

Starfire frowned. "On my planet, such behaviour in a female would mean that she is with child. Tell me, do the males of your species bear children?"

A sweat drop rolled down Beastboy's face. "Uh... that's probably not it, Star."

Starfire blinked. "Oh. Then I will most certainly go speak with Robin!"

Starfire left the room quickly, worried for her friend, and walked down the lengthy corridor almost silently, wringing her hands. "What if Robin does the "cold shoulder" to me? He has before."

Truth be told, Starfire was a little worried about going to see Robin. What if he was mad at her? Everyone in Titan Tower knew very well to NOT mess with Robin when he was grouchy.

Starfire's feet stopped dead. She had reached her destination. Reaching out a slender hand, she knocked twice on the metal door. "Robin? Robin, it is I, Starfire. Please Robin, I wish to speak with you!"

Silence and then... thump thump thump; the tell-tale signs of feet moving across the floor. The door swung open fast enough to make Starfire flinch back.

"What?" the Boy-Wonder demanded, crossing his arms, a scowl on his face.

Starfire stepped forwards. "Please Robin, I only wish to hear from you what has you so troubled, as to lock yourself in your room for 27 hours and 32 minutes. Please, talk to me Robin."

Robin raised an eyebrow. "You sure you'll believe me if I told you? Or would you doubt me? Think I'm keeping something from you, like with Red-X, and my secret indentity?"

Starfire gasped, her eyes widening, hands jumping to cover her mouth. "You heard?"

Robin gave a curt nod. Then he smiled wryly. "Tell the others I'm going away for a few days; no Red-X activity, I promise." A brief pause, then, SLAM, the door banged shut.

The red head turned slowly, hands still pressed to her mouth, and walked back to the main room of Titan Tower, tears gathering in her eyes.

"Dude," Beastboy huffed, falling back onto the couch. "Now I feel bad."

Starfire, now in tears, had just explained to the other Titans what was up with Robin, why he had shut himself away, and now they were all sitting around in the living room, feeling bad about saying those things and questioning Robin's honesty.

They lounged about, moping, for a few more minutes, until Cyborg sat up from lying horizonatlly on the couch suddenly. "Look guys," he said, raising his cyborg-arm to point at the screen of the computer. "Robin's taking his bike out. When did he leave his room?"

"Did I not tell you? Robin wished for me to inform the rest of you that he will be gone for a while." Starfire blew her nose. "He promised that it is no Red-X activity."

Beastboy peered out the window. "Dude! He's got like, two overnight bags! WHere do you think he's going?"

Raven opened one eye from meditation. "Most likey, home."

"Home?" Starfire stood up, hands clasped under her chin, elbows presses together (u no wat i mean ^^) and eyes wider than usual. "Is not Titan Tower his home now?"

Raven sighed, closed her one eye, the opened both eyes, and rolled her eyes. "Look at the date on the calendar."

Cyborg reached it first, then read it off, sounding confused. "It's Father's Day."

"Exactly. I'm guessing, what with us talking about his secret identity, and it being Father's day and so on and so forth, Robin has returned to Gotham for the time being."

Beastboy waved his hand in the air. "OH OH OH!" He dropped his hands to his side and started hopping around in a very excited manner. "So... you're saying if we get ready real quick we can follow him and see where he lives, and who is dad is?"

Raven groaned, then sighed. "...Fine. Sure. That's exactly what I meant."

"SWEET! Let's go! I CALL SHOTGUN!" Beastboy screeched as he sprinted out of the room, heading for the garage.

"Guess we're going on a road trip," Raven commented dryly, as she floated after BB.

3 HOURS LATER

"Anything else, Master Wayne?"

"Uh, no, don't think so. Thanks, Alfred."

"It was no trouble, sir," Alfred said as he left the Batcave, empty plate he had just collected in one hand, closing the latch to the elevator gate with the other.

He was just closing the bookcase door behind him, when he heard the doorbell ring. Setting the empty plate down on the table on the way to the door, Alfred straightened his shirt and muttered good naturedly, "Who could that be?"

Upon opening the door, a grin broke out over the old butler's face. "Ah. Good to see you, Master Richard. We weren't expecting you for another two days yet."

A teen boy with black hair and bright, bright blue eyes and wearing a t-shirt/ jeans combo smiled up at the aging man. "Good to see you too, Alfred." The teen stepped inside the grand mansion when Alfred gestured for him to. "I hope coming early isn't a problem."

"Not at all, Master Richard." Alfred leaned down, as if to pick up Richard's bags, but smaller hands snapped out and grabbed the bags before the butler. Alfred cocked an eyebrow and looked up to see Richard smiling at him.

"I can manage the bags, thanks though." Richard hoisted one over his back and left the other in his hand by his side. "Bruce around?"

"In the Batcave," came the prompt reply. Richard nodded his thanks and set off, closly followed by Alfred. "If I may ask, Master Richard, why are you early? I assure you, it's no bother, but I am curious."

"Things were getting... a little tense back at Titan Tower," Richard said, and frowned.

Alfred didn't know what to respond to that with. He wasn't very experianced with young super heroes, but he had know Bruce as a teen...

"May I ask why, Master Richard?" Alfred inquired as Richard walked over to the piano and hit the right keys, leading to the door of the elevator to open.

"A few stupid mistakes I made...a few things I overheard the others talking about..." Richard sighed heavily and closed his eyes. "I just needed to get away."

Richard stepped into the elevator. "Coming Alfred?" Richard inquired, stepping aside to make room in the lift.

Alfred smiled. "I have a lunch to attend to, seeing as you just traveled from Jump City. I'll see you later, Master Richard."

Richard lifted a hand in a wave, smiling, and shut the gate, starting a descent into the sub-levels of Wayne Manor.

Richard sighed and leaned against the side of the lift.

A/N: Here is chapter one. I just watched The Dark Knight, so the batcave position is all screwed up. Ah well. Didn't Bruce say he was gonna build it "Exactly the way it was"? I think so. Anywho, I have homework to do. Nah, I'm kidding, I finished my homework. I have to go collect dog poo. Please review! And wait patiently for the next chapter. No "Update soon!"'s please.
