Cheating?!

One day at a kindergarten somewhere in Tokyo…

A teacher was roaming around her classroom while watching over her silent students who were currently focusing on their English examination.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old boy with dark-green hair peeked at the teacher suspiciously. He looked at her as if he wanted to do something but does not want to get caught. He anxiously stared back at his paper.

After a few minutes, someone called their sensei and the woman excused herself from the class.

The young boy with amber eyes smirked. He immediately turned his head to the girl seating next to him. He rolled his eyes down to the paper she was writing on. And then to her name.

The girl with two braided pigtails noticed her seatmate's sudden attention on her. More specifically, on her paper. She pouted and turned her head to the boy. "Teacher said no cheating!" she whispered to him.

The boy went panic-stricken when the girl talked to him. Although it did not look like it since he maintained his indifferent look. Besides, English was his best subject. Why would he copy answers from other people? He arrogantly shot back, "I'm not cheating."

The girl pouted. "Then why are you looking at my paper?!"

The boy leaned back calmly (and quite arrogantly, too). He closed his eyes as he replied, "I was just trying to see if your name suits well with my surname."

"E-Eh?"

"And honestly, I couldn't imagine your name paired up with anyone but mine."

For the next hour, the only sound that was heard in the classroom was scribbles of students on their papers, the footsteps of the teacher when she arrived back…

And the furious blushing of a girl and the boy who kept on smirking at her as if she's his already.
