Nobody's Angel

She was exactly as everyone said she would be. An angel. Long, flowing obsidian locks that caressed her upper torso with every move she made. Deep brown eyes that resembled the earth, full of life and energy. A voice that could snap heads and melt hearts. She was perfect, in every aspect, except her personality. Her personality threatened him. Her personality endangered his reputation. Who was she to take everything away from him? Nobody. That's who she was. A nobody angel who had just found her way into the arms of a man that could destroy everything she stood for and anyone who got in his way.

Prologue: The Ultimate Goal

A creamy, slender hand reached up and caressed the glass of a clear window. Chocolate hues, gleaming with excitement, glanced through the scenery. The view, that was one good thing about working for an idiotic money bag business man. It was odd that despite everything she'd been through, she still enjoyed the view from the "top dog" businesses the most. A small smirk formed on her face as she though of her goal.

Exposure. Even the word sounded deliciously exciting on her petal pink lips. She might not be on his level yet, but she would make her way up the chain of the 5 most influential business men of Japan. Bankotsu, the CEO of Shichinintai Inc., was already exposed and out of her way. Even with all of his brothers trying to stop her, his affairs in the prostitution department with that hair obsessed demon, Yura, were "leaked" to the media.

One down, four to go before she reached her goal. The hand retreated from the window to run through silky onyx locks. Her hair had fallen from her bun and now rested snuggly against her back, with her bangs tickling her face. Turning her back to the window, she sauntered over to the desk and rubbed her fingers across the nameplate.

Kagome Higurashi.

The smirk on her face widened as she read the text at the bottom of the plate. For a moment, Kagome fingered the diamond ring hanging on her bracelet. With a slight tug, she slipped off the chain and gripped the ring firmly in her hand. A soft giggle filled the empty office as she scrapped the diamond across the nameplate. A satisfied smile and pleased eyes gleamed as she admired her handiwork.

Kagome Higurashi.

Head Secretary, Shichinintai Inc.

(Pretend it's strikedthrough, since FFN can't do that :p)

With a small thud, the nameplate landed in a large black purse. Picking up her bag and making her way to the door, only one thought crossed Kagome's mind as she flipped off the lights.

'This is going to be fun.'
