Misunderstandings can kill
Summary: it's too late for apologies, too late for reconciliation, too late for regrets, a simple misunderstanding turned out to be a loved one's death. Character death inside. Please don't hate me for killing him; I just love tragedy so much.
It started out as just a simple fight, a meaningless argument for both of them but as time passes by it had been occurring much too often and it seems there relationship had been going down the drain.
It been raining hard that day when he had it and snapped at his lover saying the three most hurtful words that had stabbed through her heart like a knife for anyone who is in a relationship with. He ran out of the house tears in his eyes mingling with the rain, he never looked back, and then it struck him he realized to soon what he'd just said.
"Oh shit!" he cursed, taking an umbrella with him he ran out in search of him, he had frantically looked for him in places he might be, he looked in the park, looked in t he food shops but he was not there, heaving out a sigh he sat himself at a unoccupied bus stop. 'were are you, were could you be?' he thought to himself and stayed seated there for a while, he then left when the rain had cleared, he was still worrying for his lover's safety.
He had arrived at their home, upon entry he could feel the emptiness circulating in the air, he sighed and made his way to the living room, dropping himself on the couch he reached for the remote control and turned on the television.
It had been on the news channel and he never really like to watch the news but before he could change the channel the news had caught his attention.
"A civilian had been hit by a car late this afternoon and he's in a critical condition, he had been brought to the Black Order hospital, he is identified to be Allen walker." The reporter stated, he then bolted off the couch, turned off the TV and ran to the hospital as fast as his legs could carry him.
He was frantic as he reached the hospital, the information the nurse gave made him worry even more.
"Mr. Kanda please calm down." The nurse said to him, he had tried to but he just couldn't. An agonizingly three hours had passed by and still the doctors hadn't come out of the E.R. he paced back and forth getting even more worried as each second pass by.
An hour more had passed and that's when the doctors and nurses came out, he then approached one doctor whose tag read doctor Kumui Lee he then asked him;
"How is doc? Is he gonna be alright?" his voice filled with worry, but he only shook his head, his lover had died due to blood loss, multiple injuries to the major organs and fractures. He just couldn't believe it, but there he saw his lifeless body and his tears fell.
The following day a funeral was held, all of those whom close to him had attended his final wake, how sad they had been, for his departure meant the loss of not just a friend but a brother. After it ended everyone left with heavy hearts, except for him who stayed a bit longer.
He stared at the grave, his gaze not wavering, and his eyes clearly show how sorry he is but it's too late now for apologizing, too late for reconciliation and too late for regrets.
In the end misunderstandings can lead to your loved one's death.
