Chapter 9

Three days of being under the same roof as his boss and the boss's beloved daughter that just so happened to take him in after a unexpected ass kick of reality, Goku was doing everything possible to stay out from under foot. He felt out of place in their mansion sized home. He almost hated to touch anything, fearing he could cause a smudge of grime from his dusty hands, or leave a trail of mud balls from his boots along the mosaic hard wood or creamy pristine carpets. Goku spent most of his time of the day out in the barn or fields, attempting to keep distance from the girl he had fallen for. If only he would have known sooner that the distance was beginning to drive him insane. She was arms length away most of the time. Hell, she was no more than ten paces down the hall from his temporary room.

Even today, under the blasting suns rays, she was so close he could smell the scent of her shampoo over the grungy horse they were attempting to clean. Chichi stood on one side of the horse-sized mud ball, trying her best to pick out the sharp burrs entangled in the long mane. "Ouch!" She mumble every now and then when a burr pierced her tender fingertips.

"I think we're loosing the battle." Goku stated as the mud refused to come loose of the thick coat.

"Water hose?"

"Water hose," Goku agreed. "And he's not going to like it."

After gathering what they needed, Goku took hold of the horse and secured the lead to the tying post. "Just spray his feet for now until he gets use to the water."

"Okay." Chichi answered and gave him a shy smile. He couldn't help but do the same as he tried to hide it. But that's how it had been since the first day he moved in. Secret smiles and blushing cheeks every time they made eye contact over a meal or by bumping into each other in the house. As much as he wished to show her more affection, he had to remember that her father was never at a distance. A quick kiss could mean his ass without a job and kicked onto the street with his broken down truck. He couldn't risk it, and Chichi understood in a silent way. No matter the opportunity they could take, she would give him a nod and a beautiful smile.

Deep in a trance, Goku suddenly felt an ice cold splash hit his back. He let out a groan of shock and jumped away from the stream of water that seemed to follow him. A fit of laughter erupted from the one who was in charge of the water hose. "Sorry!" Chichi laughed as she turned the spray back to the horse who wasn't minding the cold water on this hot day.

Goku looked down at his white muscle shirt. A grin couldn't help but form on his lips even though he was completely drenched. He gave a quick look at their surroundings, checking for any curious eyes of others, and started taking long quick strides toward his target.

Chichi let out a shriek of excitement as Goku began charging after her. He quickly pulled his soaking wet shirt off and flung it behind him. The power of his body invaded her ability to flee. She couldn't take her eyes off him as he neared her. A smirk spread across his handsome face as he closed in, leaving her heart to race. It wasn't until he reached out to grab her when her legs started to move. She dodged the quick swipe and turned the hose back on him, yet he continued his hunt through the steady ice cold spray.

She had never thought that he could be this playful, but as he chased her, Chichi couldn't help but let out another shout of laughter. Being so close yet unable to touch him had the girl going crazy. Yet she understood his silent plea to stay at a distance to avoid being caught. How would her father react to her newly found affection for someone she loathed in the beginning?

When the length of hose ran out, Chichi dropped it and took off past the barn. Goku was close behind, his strength giving him plenty of speed to keep on her heels. Without noticing where she was going, completely lost to the adrenaline and happiness, Chichi threw open the door to workshop that contained tractors and machinery as well as Goku's broken down truck to be worked on. All the lights were off as she ran around a large piece of equipment and tripped only to find a pair of strong arms catch her. Her heart slammed against her rib cage as the feeling of his heat encircled her body.

"Caught you," he lowly spoke into her ear, causing a shiver to run down her spine. This was the first real contact that they had shared since the first night he moved in. And she was beginning to crave more.

With a slight turn in his arms, Chichi looked up at her captor. His lips were parted just as hers as they caught their breath. In and out. The heat of their exhales brushing slightly against their cheeks. Goku's eyes were intently gazing down at her, seeming to ask for permission for what she wanted most.

Throwing hesitation out the door and taking advantage of the moment alone, Chichi's breath caught in her lungs as he came crashing down.

Every sensation once again ignited in her body. The feel of his bare chest under her palms, the sucking of their lips tenderly touching. This is what she wanted. And by the way his hands traveled down her sides and pulled her against him, it was a definite sign that he craved the same temptation they had avoided the past few days. Now they were here. Together sharing a new exciting experience, learning from one another, and taking all that they offered

Yet she couldn't get enough. Something deeper began to build right between her legs as if she were blooming below to take everything this man could give. Chichi knew where this could lead if they continued. She knew of sex, the functions and the utmost pleasure it could bring, yet she never experienced it. Never really gave it a thought until the first moment Goku kissed her and now. But her nerves still caused her to shake when his hand slowly crept down her backside. With knees wobbling like a new born foal, Chichi was ready to call for a break. A moment to catch their breath and to shake herself out of this fit of trembling legs syndrome. Instead, Goku suddenly shifted his weight and pulled her feet up off the ground. The young girl gave a surprised delightful squeal as her legs wrapped securely around his waist.

His lips continued to torment her, leaving her breathless. When her back hit up against a cold surface, she didn't have to look to know it was his old truck aiding in their balance.

Goku's breathing began to quicken as her tongue swept in. She was curious and excited about this new feeling he was building within her. But before she could inch her fingers up into his hair to bring them closer together, Goku tried to pull away.

"I think we need-"

Chichi cut him off with her lips. She didn't want to hear him say slow down or stop.

"Chi-"

A moan drifted out of her throat and she pulled him closer. That got his attention. She wanted to make it clear to him that this is what she wanted more than anything. To throw the doubt or insecurities from his mind.

With a unsuspecting thrust of his hips between her legs, Chichi couldn't help the head snap back as a deep groaning noise escaped her throat. The sensation sent tiny shrills of pleasure through her core and leaving her throat exposed to be devoured. His tongue traced the line of her slender neck to her jaw line, agonizingly slow yet so sensual.

"Someone's gonna come lookin' for us," Goku mumbled against her throat as he placed innocent kissed to the sway of her neck.

Chichi bit her lip, unable to think of any words to say. He caused her to melt, leaving her momentarily forgetful of language besides moaning."I don't care," she forced out and tried to take hold of his mouth again. Goku let out a soft chuckle, smiling against her lips as her onslaught seemed useless to persuade him to continue. "I just want to stay like this with you." She admitted freely without letting the words filter through her brain first.

"Ah, yeah. We wouldn't be staying like this for long if we kept this up, Chichi."

The young girl leaned back slightly to look at his expression. She knew what he was implying, causing a deep blush to ignite on both their faces.

"Will you meet me here tonight? After the sun sets?" He asked with pleading eyes.

"Yeah, but why?"

"Uh, well..." Goku put her down back on her feet and glanced over her shoulder. Rubbing the back of his neck nervously, he finally found the words, "I wouldn't mind to have some company while I work on my truck. No one else will be around, and it'd be nice...to have you...here."

Chichi eyed him in shock. She never thought he would ask her to hang out while in the predicament that they were in.

"Unless you don't want to, then forget-"

"I will."

She watched a child-like grin form on his lips as his eyes lit up with excitement. Another expression that suited his features so well.

The sun was just beginning to set and Chichi was no where to be seen in the house. The only place he hadn't looked was her room, but he wasn't about to intrude in her private space. They were suppose to meet in the workshop after the sun set. It was something that just blurted out of his mouth without thinking it through. Yet she made his heart do that crazy little flip in his chest when she agreed.

Making his way out the front door, Goku froze. His boss sat on the steps leading off the porch with a beer in hand. When the door shut behind him, Ox turned and gave Goku a look over and grinned up at him.

"Oh hey, Goku," Ox happily greeted him. "Have a seat and drink. It's a perfect evening."

Goku hesitated, but since he was a guest in his boss's house, he excepted and took a place beside the large man. Ox handed him a cold beer and took a drink of his own as he continued staring off in the distance. Goku joined him and let the bitter taste roll down the back of his throat.

"Krillen will be back next week." Chichi's father spoke up and took another drink.

Goku couldn't help but frown at that. Even though he was looking forward to seeing his buddy again, only meant one thing. He would no longer need Chichi to help train.

"That's good," Goku forced out.

"You and Chichi have done a fantastic job with all the young horses. I already have a few buyers interested!"

Goku gave him a nod as he chugged back his drink.

"Now Goku, I'm going to be honest with you."

"Yes sir?"

"I know you've taken an interest in my daughter."

Goku's heart jumped into his throat. He jumped up and tripped down the stairs until his feet landed on gravel. "Wait, wait sir-"

"And I know Chichi has also taken an interest in you."

"Sir, it's not what you think-"

Ox cut him off a second time, "Relax Goku! I'm not angry." The large man chuckled and gave him a happy grin. "I know that look when I see it. Chichi made the same face when I mentioned Krillen was coming back."

"I'm sorry, I know it's wrong."

"Wrong? Goku, what is there to be sorry for? She's a young lady and you're a young man. I just never imagined it would happen so soon."

Goku stood there and blinked a few times just to make sure he was understanding what his boss was meaning.

"You mean...that..." He was at a loss for words.

"I'm giving you my blessing, son! If you would have come to me sooner, I would have thought other wise, but I can clearly see the way my daughter looks at you, and you with her."

What was he supposed to say to that? He felt like he needed to drop to his knees at his boss's feet and thank him, but his body was in too much shock to move at the moment. A drink. He needed a drink. When Goku brought the beer up to his lips, his hand shook the entire way.

"Now I just ask that you be respectful. She is seventeen after all."

"Of course sir." He finally found his voice.

"Her birthday is next month. Once she turns eighteen, then I leave that up to her. She's responsible and I know you will treat her the way she was intended to be treated."

"Yes. I swear on my life."

Chichi put her hair up in a pony-tail and looked herself over in the mirror in her room. She groaned with frustration when the look wasn't satisfying her. With quick hands, she jerked her hair free and let it flow around her face and down her shoulders. No matter what she did, she just couldn't find the right thing to wear or how to have her hair, all because she was sneaking out to meet Goku. The sun had just set and he would be waiting for her out in the workshop. She had ran out of time.

With a heavy sigh, Chichi stood and looked herself over in the vanity mirror. She wore a pair of cut off blue jean shorts, a black tank top, and mid-calf brown cowgirl boots. "Screw it." Chichi mumbled under her breath and rushed out the bedroom door. She crept silently down the hall, being cautious as to where her father was. To her surprise, he was sprawled out on the living room couch with the t.v. on and snoring up a storm. A few beer bottles littered the coffee table, letting Chichi know that her father would be in a deep sleep for some time.

Escaping out the back door through the kitchen, Chichi dashed down the lane leading past the barn, making her way towards the workshop entrance. The lights were off as she rounded the corner, her heart pounding in her chest as she reached for the door knob.

With a deep breath, Chichi went into the darkened room and gasped.

"Goku?"

"Hey Chichi," He grinned at her as hit turned on one of the many lanterns that covered his truck.

"What's this?" Chichi took a step forward and let the door close shut behind her. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"Ah..." he nervously scratched the back of his head. "Just thought we'd have our first date."

"But..." Chichi could barely keep the smile from exploding on her face. Goku had fresh cut flowers from the field sticking out of old cans and bottles. Flowers he picked himself. The truck had multiple battery powered lanterns lined along the tail gate and on top of the cab to give her plenty of light to see the sweet gesture.

"Is this ok?" He asked when she didn't say another word.

"Oh Goku. This is perfect."

"Good. I was worried what you'd think."

Chichi made her way over and looked up into his eyes. He seemed happy and relieved at the same time. Something had changed in the way he looked down at her. Goku wasn't trying to hold back his grin, or avoiding eye contact with her like before. She felt like she was truly his.
