Seras woke with a start and cursed as she wacked her head off of the lid of her coffin.
C'mon, Alucard had to have done it sometime too.
She pushed the lid up and groaned in pain, holding her head.
She climbed out of the coffin and rubbed at her head before heading out of her room.
Maybe a walk would help her sleep.
Seras walked through the dark hallways, humming a cheerful song to herself as she toured the underground of the Hellsing manor.
She stopped in front of her master's room when she felt a strange pull towards it.
"Master..." She whispered to herself when she felt a wave of misery and anguish flow through her bond with the male vampire.
She inched towards the door and then gently pushed it open, stepping into the room.
"Master?" She called quietly.
She couldn't see him.
He must be in his coffin.
She approached it and stopped when she felt the wave of emotion again.
She gently gripped the side of the coffin lid and lifted it, staring at her master.
He was curled up in his coffin, his hair hanging over his face.
Seras left the lid up and slowly reached down to brush the jet black strands away and stared in shock at what she saw.
Blood.
Alucard was crying in his sleep.
She cautiously climbed into the coffin and sat next to him, resting a hand on his arm and feeling the tremors running through his slim frame.
The draculina looked at him in pity and gathered him in her arms, one hand on his back and the other stroking his soft hair.
"Shhhh master, it's alright, shhhh." She said, rocking him gently. She froze when she saw his red eyes open blearily and look at her.
"S-Seras?" He said, sounding drowsy.
"Yes master." She smiled at him. "I saw you crying and couldn't help but comfort you."
Alucard rested his head or Seras' shoulder, closing his eyes again.
Seras waited until he fell asleep again before carefully lowering them both down to the base of the coffin again.
She closed the lid and wrapped her arms gently around Alucard's middle.
She may not be as strong as him.
But she would kill anything that came near him.
