This is very random. I came up with it some time ago and decided to post just for the fun of it. I really do love Batman Begins. I really don't mind that Robin was not in the movie; I think it is fabulous as is.

But somebody else does mind.

There IS a Robin

Christian Bale: (quietly to self) "Now for a nice quiet evening of reading the newspaper…"

(Bale settles into a big easy chair and leans back. Proceeds to read several pages of paper)

Sound effect: SWOOP!

Christian Bale: "AHHHH! WHOA! What's that! Who are you!"

Robin: "I am Robin."

Christian Bale: (clears throat politely) "I'm sorry, but there is no Robin in my Batman movies."

Robin: "But there is a Robin."

Christian Bale: "Nope."

Robin: "I am Robin."

Christian Bale: (Raises an eyebrow) "Ah… look, There is no Robin, you must be thinking of the 1960's movie."

Robin: (Shakes head slowly, frowning)

Christian Bale: "You're looking for Adam West. I'm Christian Bale."

Robin: "You are the one I'm looking for."

Christian Bale: "Look, I'll call my director, Mr. Nolan; he'll tell you. There is no Robin."

Robin: "There is a Robin: me."

Christian Bale: (sighs) "Look, I've already told 34 other fans… there is no Robin."

Robin: (Firmly) "Look, I've already told you… I am Robin."

Christian Bale: (rises and bristles) "How'd you get in here anyway?"

Robin: (smiles secretively)

Christian Bale: (looks snobbish) "Nevermind, I'll just call security to escort you out." (reaches for phone, Robin whacks him forcibly with the tail of his cape, stopping him) "AH! What-?"

Robin: "No, you won't."

Christian Bale: "Oh… I get it. You're here to protest the new movie. Right?"

Robin: "Wrong. I'm here to protest the absence of Robin in the new movie."

Christian Bale: (bored now. Flicks dust off his cuff) "Well, sorry, but there's really nothing you can do about it. Join the "We Want Robin in the Dark Knight Rises" page on Facebook, march with a sign outside the studio, wear a dumb T-shirt… I don't care."

Robin: "I do." (steps forward threateningly)

Christian Bale: "Watch it now! I won't put up with this sort of nonsense."

Robin: "This not nonsense! The public must know that there is a Robin!"

Christian Bale: "Calm down!"

Robin: "Oh, I don't think so. I think you underestimate me!"

Christian Bale: "Uh…"

Robin: "You underestimate my role! –my skill! –my seriousness! –my… Batman!"

Christian Bale: (confused) "… '-my Batman'...?"

Batman: "What are you doing, Robin?"

Christian Bale: (under breath) "And how did HEget in?"

Robin: "I'm here to persuade Mr. Bale that he must allow there to be a Robin in the new movie."

Batman: "I understand your distress, Robin, but we fight crime. We deal with criminals… not persnickety actors."

Robin: "But, Batman! He refuses to have a Robin in his movie!"

Batman: "Your point?"

Robin: "That is a crime!"
