Author's Note: Surprise! I'll be updating the story as well but for now, here's a little gift for continuing to read even though it's been so long. I own neither Ouran Highschool Host Club or Black Butler.

Deja Vu

Ciel awoke to the blinding sunlight and a smiling Sebastian. Frowning he threw the covers over his head and grumbled five more minutes. Heaving a sigh Sebastian gripped the covers and in one swift motion he yanked them off the bed leaving Ciel exposed to the cold morning air. He snapped up from his bed and his eyes flashed a demonic red in anger. In his mind he was contemplating having his butler search for that annoying reaper Grell and ordering him to go on another date with the flamboyant reaper.

"Now young master why must we play this game every day? It has been so many years. You think you would've become accustomed to mornings," Sebastian scolded with a smirk.

Faster than the human eye could see Ciel whipped out three darts from his pillow and flung them at Sebastian. He had kept them under his pillow for this exact purpose. However, as expected Sebastian caught them with ease. The butler frowned and contemplated scolding his master again, but one look into his murderous eyes made him second guess himself. Who knows what plans Ciel was concocting in that vicious mind of his? As the years had gone by, he only became more creative in his punishments. Yet, the butler couldn't help but test his limits; finding amusement in the young boy's reactions. No matter how many years had passed his little master could still surprise him.

With another great sigh Sebastian dressed Ciel in a white button up shirt, blue tie and what was definitely an extremely expensive black suit. Ciel stood up and walked toward the mirror and frowned at his immortal never changing appearance. If only he could grow a bit taller, he huffed in his mind. While Ciel was caught up in his thoughts Sebastian appeared behind him and with the utmost care he tied on a black eye patch over his eye to cover the contract mark that forever bound him to his young master. As time passed Sebastian had grudgingly accepted his fate as an eternal butler.

Turning to his butler Ciel gave him one more dissatisfied look to show he had not forgotten the events that had transpired earlier. Strolling down the corridor of his mansion Ciel briefly mused how Sebastian had managed to once again construct an exact replica of his Victorian mansion. Despite being a demon as well he felt Sebastian was in entirely different league than him.

"Young master are you listening to me?" Sebastian questioned already knowing the answer. With a frown Ciel crossed his arms and bluntly told him, "Not one bit. Repeat yourself," while displaying a mischievous smirk. Looking at him with a glimmer of annoyance in his eyes Sebastian once again told his young master his schedule for the day.

"This morning you will be meeting with the regional manager of your Tokyo factory. Then you will finish your homework and go over your company documents in the afternoon. Before dinner you will have a lesson in hand to hand combat with me as well as demonic nature. After dinner your schedule is open until bedtime," he listed off not missing a beat. Sighing Ciel resigned himself to his fate and hoped Sebastian wouldn't be too harsh on him during his lessons. It was a futile wish though as Sebastian was a ruthless and harsh teacher. Ciel had a sneaking suspicion his butler took a little too much joy in his vicious teaching methods.

After his meeting Ciel contemplated running away for the rest of the day, but no doubt his dutiful butler would drag him back. His mood had only continued to worsen as the morning went on. His factory manager had been consistently behind on the quota each month, and he had no excuse to give. The man had looked at him as naïve child and it angered him to no end. He sent the man away with a stone-cold look and promise to start replacing staff if this month did not show improvement. His mood slightly lightened seeing the man begin to sweat at his threat.

He had just begun his homework with Sebastian looming over his shoulder silently checking Ciel's work as he went when Sebastian straightened and gave a puzzled look at the office door. Feeling his butler move behind him Ciel pulled himself out of his concentrated state and heard what his butler had just moments before. Someone was knocking at his door.

"There are no more visitors scheduled today," his butler stated in a perplexed tone. Running his hand down his face in exasperation Ciel motioned to his butler to see who dared to disrupt his schedule.

Diving back into his schoolwork he trusted his butler to drive away whoever was at the door. His concertation broke when his demonic hearing picked up an annoyingly familiar voice. Oh hell no Ciel thought throwing his chair back and stomping towards the grand entrance of his mansion. When he arrived, he saw Sebastian wearing his signature devilish smile while standing next to the bane of his immortal existence: the Ouran Highschool Host Club.

Why? How? Ciel's thought while standing completely still in the middle of the staircase. He silently began to tip toe backwards hoping to escape before he was noticed. He was almost at the top of the stairs when Sebastian's smile grew wider. He wouldn't dare Ciel thought.

"My dear young master there you are. You seem to have some surprise guests. How nice of them to take time out of their schedules to see you," his butler spoke loudly drawing the attention of the rambunctious group. Ciel was definitely going to make his butler go on that date with Grell. He would have his revenge.

Slowly walking down the stairs until he reached the group he spoke, "Yes how nice," his said with sarcasm dripping from every word. It seemed to go unnoticed by the group of idiots while his butler found great amusement in his younger master's short fuse temper.

"Ciel I missed you!" he heard the young Honey cry while he threw himself at Ciel. Grabbing onto the boy unconsciously Ciel frowned.

"It's only been one day," he said in an annoyed voice. His attention was drawn to Haruhi as she spoke the question everyone in the Host club was wondering since they had arrived. Although she didn't particularly want to be there as she would rather be at the half off sale at the grocery store, she couldn't help but take interest in the enigma that was Ciel Phantomive and Sebastian Michealis.

"Why is Sebastian here? And why did he call you young master Ciel?" she asked in shock. Damn it all Ciel thought. He should have killed them when he had the chance. Actually, perhaps he could still… no Sebastian would never let it go if he lost his temper due to a mere group of teenage mortals. However, since mass murder was off the table Ciel had to now come up with an excuse for Sebastian's presence and behavior. He looked to his butler hoping for some help, but he was only met with Sebastian silent smirk. He would receive no help he concluded noting how much his butler was enjoying watching him flounder for an answer to Haruhi's question. Screw it he'll just tell the truth. Not the whole truth of course but an extremely watered-down version of course.

"Sebastian is here because he is my butler. He attends school merely for my protection and to assist me when needed," he said with firm confidence. The group of teenagers were struck speechless at Ciel's words…well all except for one person. With gleaming glasses Kyoya jumped on the chance to collect more information on the mysterious child and butler.

"And what pray tell what do you need protection and assistance with?" he asked inquisitively.

Finally, Sebastian decided he had tortured his young master enough and answered the boy's question.

"My young master is not only CEO of the Funtom Toy Company but also the esteemed Earl Phantomhive the Queen's guard dog. At her majesty's request he is here to expand his company and investigate anything she deems important to her country's and citizen's safety," he announced with a semblance of pride to the group.

"How can he be an Earl and an investigator? He is only a child! How could she put him in danger like this?!" Tamaki yelled in fright. In his mind Tamaki had already added Ciel to his makeshift family taking pity on the eye patch wearing boy. He was just as adorable as Honey, yet he was much younger and thus Tamaki felt the need to protect the fragile looking child.

Ciel's eye twitched in annoyance and anger as he attempted not to suck the soul out of the infuriating imbecile in front of him. "You best watch your tone when speaking of her majesty," Ciel spat out in rage. Tamaki took a step back as an unknown fear crept up his spine. For some reason he felt the need to run as far away as possible from the boy in front of him. Ciel continued as his patience was on its last leg, "I assumed my title and responsibilities after my parent's were murdered. Unlike some people I do not have the luxury of spending my time in a frivolous manner like my peers. I take my position very seriously as each head of the Phantomhive family had before me," his voice was sharp with a palatable rage.

For some reason despite the sun shining through the windows the speechless hosts felt a chill envelop the room. Darkness seemed to be seeping from the corners and inching towards the center of the room. Abruptly the terrifying atmosphere disappeared as Ciel felt a gentle hand rest on his shoulder and a voice spoke calmly into his ear, "My dear master it seems our lessons on controlling your nature need to be even more strict. Please control yourself. Do not forget your objective," Sebastian whispered. Shivering slightly at the prospect of Sebastian becoming even more strict in his lessons he decided to listen to his butler and companion. Throwing his butler a withering look he begrudgingly accepted he would have to play host to these humans.

Clearing his throat Ciel snapped the host club out of their fear induced trance. Mori seemed shocked to realize he had lost himself for a moment, leaving Honey defenseless had someone attacked. He had little time to dwell on the feeling he had never experienced before as Ciel spoke once again.

"I suppose since you have all taken time out of your schedules to visit I shall give you a tour and provide lunch. After all the Phantomhive's are infamous for their spectacular hospitality," he said demurely.

He went to move when he felt a force stopping him. Looking down he had forgotten in his rage that Honey had his arms circled around his waist. Why had the boy not moved when his demonic aura pervaded the room? Surely, he had felt the danger and murderous intent? The boy seemed unfazed though. He was even smiling! Who the hell was this person exactly? Meeting Ciel's eyes Honey spoke in a sugary sweet voice, "This is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to play with you Ciel!"

Scoffing Ciel said indigently, "I will certainly not be playing! I am no child." His words fell to deft ears as Honey squeezed him harder and continued to smile to Ciel's annoyance. It seemed even his protector was perplexed by Honey's actions. Sure, the boy usually accepted everyone with enthusiasm but it seemed he was unnaturally attached to the young Earl.

Ciel swore beneath the joyful eyes of the boy hugging him something dark glinted for a brief moment. Ciel had seen that look before, but where? Why did this boy stir something within him he had not felt since before his turning? Snapping Ciel out of his musing Sebastian offered to lead the other uncannily silent hosts around the Victorian mansion. They were still digesting the new information they just learnt. Even the Hitachiin twins were eerily silent. Ciel knew that what was considered peaceful silence to him would only last momentarily before all hell broke loose.

He went to follow behind the group but found Honey's arms still encircled his waist in a steel tight grip. Ciel raised an eyebrow at the boy as the group went out of sight. "Is there something you want?" he asked annoyed.

Honey laughed in a way that brought shivers down his spine. Something a human shouldn't be able to achieve with a demon such as himself. Wide eyed he stared at Honey as the boy moved his arms to Ciel's neck. He brought himself close to Ciel's ear almost touching it with his lips as he whispered with frightening glee, "I want you Ciel Phantomhive. That is all."

Honey in a flash licked Ciel's cheek and giggled in a terrifying way. He released the young Earl and skipped away before pausing in the entrance to where the rest of the Host club disappeared to. "Oh by the way Ciel since we are friends please call me your highness! No one else calls me that but since your special I can share my precious nickname with you. Only you." The last part seemed threatening as if he would tear the throat out of anyone who dare utter the name besides Ciel.

Ciel found himself alone in the entrance as Honey disappeared. He couldn't find it in him to move as disbelief coursed through veins. Surely it was impossible. Just a coincidence or a fluke. For the first time in years Ciel panicked.

He felt himself go cold and his head began to feel as if someone was shoving a knife through his brain. He gasped reaching desperately for the railing while trying to comprehend how his demonic nature was failing him. As darkness began to creep into his vision, he barely noticed Sebastian rushing towards him calling his name desperately. An expression of pure panic was marring Sebastian's usual composed self.

Then for the first time in the history of all demons darkness completely encompassed him and Ciel Phantomhive fainted.
