Just a little drabble. Totally pointless, just a bit of...ramble...

The 16 year old old girl twisted her ankles together under her chair and tapped her pen to her chin as she listened with rapt attention to her English teacher. He was sat on his desk, gesturing wildly with his hands as he described in detail the plot line of Frankenstein.
"Mr Anderson?" She delicately held her hand up.
"Yes, Emily?"
"So...would you say that it is mostly Frankenstein who is to blame for the behaviour of the creature? I mean if he hadn't rejected him in the first place..."
"You make a very good point." He sent her a dazzling smile. "You see.." Emily watched him with a serious expression, twirling her hair around her pen. He really is quite dreamy when he's rambling with such passion. She thought to herself.
It was common knowledge that most of the girls at the school harboured a small crush on Mr Anderson. Well, who wouldn't find his dark curls, bright smile and general enthusiasm attractive? Emily mostly just admired his teaching skill and genuine interest, but she could not deny the very small fluttery feeling when he smiled at her.
"Okay guys, class over." The was a loud commotion of scraping chairs and rustling papers. "Don't forget the essay for tomorrow guys!"
Emily heaved her heavy bag up from the floor, sighing in dismay when the strap ripped, spilling the contents under her desk. She crouched down and started to fit it back in an orderly fashion. There was a light knock on the door and a voice saying "Blaine?"
"Kurt! What are you doing here?" Emily heard her teacher exclaim in excitement. She craned her neck to look up from under the desk to see the dark haired English teacher embracing a slightly taller man.
"Well we finished shooting early so I thought I'd surprise you." The taller man said, perching himself on a desk while Blaine put the papers on his desk into his bag. "And we haven't had much time together recently so I thought we could go out this evening." Emily caught a glimpse of Mr Anderson's delighted smile before slowly and quietly making her way out the classroom, crouched down low so as not to be seen. Outside the door she bumped into her friend.
"Hey Emily! Is Mr Anderson still in there?" She whispered the last part excitedly, trying to peek through the windows.
"Yeah, but listen-"
"He's so gorgeous." Emily's friend sighed dramatically.
"I think he might...you know...play for the other team..." Emily whispered with a wink.
"What...what makes you say-"
"Oh, hello girls." Mr Anderson had taken that moment to walk through the door, almost walking into Emily.
"Hey sir." She responded quickly, trying really hard not to look guilty.
"Sir? Is he your boyfriend?" asked Emily's friend bluntly, gesturing to the man who followed Mr Anderson out the classroom.
"Oh, err...yes." he answered, flustered.
"Aww, man." grumbled Emily's friend, shoulders slouching. Mr Anderson looked slightly confused but the other man slipped his hand into the English teacher's with a chuckle.
"Sorry girls, I'm not sharing." he winked at the two before pulling Mr Anderson off by the hand. The two girls watched the pair go. Emily smiled to herself as she faintly heard the taller man mutter, "It looks like I've got competition."
Mr Anderson lightly shoved his shoulder before saying "So I was thinking Chinese..."
Emily turned to her friend, who was still scowling.
"He was too old for you anyway."
"No way." she whined. "He's, what? 24? 25? That's like, eight years difference! It would totally be okay."
"Oh don't mope." Emily poked her friend. "Get over it. Anyway, they're adorable together."
"One day he'll change his mind and come running into my arms...just you wait..."
