The village was torn apart, it's people slain, and with a sudden whoosh, it was on fire. It made Kabuto nervous. As it was, the village could have unnoticed for days, leaving them plenty of time to disappear. Now they had only minutes before someone saw the blaze.

"That was fun, Lord Orochimaru, but I think we should go now. Someone bound to notice that." Orochimaru giggled. "Oh, Kabuto, leaving so soon? We just got here! Who knows what the people here are like? We might even find you a girlfriend!" Kabuto blushed. "I-I think that the people here are dead, sir." A horrible thought stuck him. "Lord Orochimaru, you did take your medicine today, didn't you?" His master laughed deliriously. "Oh, that stuff! It tastes like poop! It was stifling my genius! Now I can get back to my important experiments, like that two-headed panda thing I made. I had this other idea too, something about portals and cake… nah, that's stupid. Wait, what was I doing here?"

Relieved, Kabuto said, "We were just leaving. The ANBU are after us, and we have to escape them." Orochimaru seemed to think this over. "I think I'll stay a little longer. Hey look, a village!" With that, he ran off, Kabuto tailing behind him. Kabuto couldn't see his master through all the smoke, but he wasn't hard to find. He just had to follow the screams. "Oh, Kabuto! Look what I found!" Orochimaru was holding someone by neck. The man was trying to escape, but he wasn't strong enough. "Can I keep him, Kabuto? I've always wanted a puppy!" The man whimpered doggishly. Kabuto decided to ignore this. "Fine, you can keep him, lets just go." The new trio fled into the forest, Orochimaru rambling the whole time.
