Even though most of the other nations couldn't stand America's horrible eating habits-talking with his mouth full, sucking on his fingers, and actually licking the plate clean, out of all people Romano didn't mind. Because after working hard on dinner and slaving over a hot stove he was pretty happy to see the blond eat each and every morsal because when it came to dishes Romano's boyfriend made cleaning up a breeze.

"Thanks," America would say.

"No, thank you." Romano would mumble with just the smallest of smiles as he took the clean plate.
