Shunned and Spurned

Chapter 11

7 October 2011

Guest Quarters' Common Room

Hogwarts

10.40 AM

"You want us to what?" Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter exclaimed loudly in unison at the current Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, Theodore Nott.

"To do a demonstration duel for the Hogwarts students and staffs including other guests. Everyone is waiting for you two to do it at 11AM on the Back Courtyard." He repeated calmly.

"You purposefully are telling us this now? Twenty minutes before?" Harry sighed and knew that there is no way he would back out if everyone were expecting it. Such a Slytherin plan from Theo, but that doesn't extend to the blonde next to him.

"Like I give a shit." Harry expected Draco to say that. Theo seemed to sigh disappointingly at his answer.

"Scorpius was looking forward to seeing you duel Harry. His eyes were sparkling so brightly when I said it in class. Guess he will be severely disappointed when I announce that it'll be cancelled because his father doesn't want to do it." Draco twitched at that and glared at one of his best mates.

"Hermione and Scorpius is his Achilles heel. There's no way he'll say no now. Hook, line and sinker, Nott." Harry thought and once again he was proven right.

"You sly wanker. Fine, I'll bloody do it. Lead the way." Draco said as he stands up from the sofa which Harry followed suit.

"This way then! The other Big 7 members must already been informed and are there already." Theo excitedly said as they exit the Guest Quarters' Common Room and make their way towards the Back Courtyard.

Back Courtyard

Hogwarts

10.55 AM

Scorpius Malfoy, James Potter and Rose Weasley sat on the edge of their seat at the upcoming demonstration duel but they're not the only ones –almost everyone in attendance is looking forward to it. It's not everyday that they see the famous Harry Potter and his long-time rival Draco Malfoy duel –even their fellow Big Seven members attest that they are the strongest especially when it comes to duelling.

"Honored guests, fellow staff and dear students. Please welcome our duellists for today, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy." Theo introduced the two men who automatically took their positions by facing one another.

"Professor Nott, before we start, I feel as though I must cast a protective sphere around them. Mr. Potter and Mr. Malfoy have the tendency to get…carried away when they duel." Headmistress Minerva McGonagall stood up from her seat and began to walk in a wide circle around Harry and Draco, murmuring the Protego Totalum incantation as she went. The spectators saw little disturbances in the surrounding air as though there were a heat haze but it did not hinder their view of the duel.

Headmistress McGonagall nodded her head at Theo to signal that it is okay to start and returned to her seat.

"Before I state the rules, as this is a formal duel, please name your seconds." He reminded them and without a second thought they spoke their right hand men's name.

"Terrence Higgs."

"Justin Finch-Fletchley."

The two men in question immediately stood up from their seat and walked towards their 'leader'.

"Are you showing off to your son again? Or were you out snake by Nott?" Justin whispered as he stood behind Draco.

"It's not a bad idea for Scorpius to see how a duel is conducted." He replied calmly.

Justin just hummed at him and said, "Both, huh? I thought you're their Slytherin Prince?"

"Sod off, Justin! Bloody know it all Hufflepuff." Draco huffed at him and Justin had to hold back his laughter. As always his 'leader' is easily rattled and not to mention his comebacks when cornered is never not funny.

"Draco loss against Theo again?" Terrence snickered when he took his place behind Harry.

"I honestly don't know why you call him your Slytherin Prince." Harry sighed.

"He must've brought up Scorpius. When it comes to you…because everyone is expecting you to? Typical, you." Terrence shook his head amusedly at his 'leader'

"Oh, thanks, Terrence." Harry replied sarcastically.

"There are a couple of rules now. Try to follow them. No spells from the Big Seven's tome or your own creations. Instead of this duel being over when one of you admitted defeat, which I highly doubt, this will end when the time is up. There is only 30 minutes. Seconds, make sure they do stop at that time." The four men gave Theo a nod of acknowledgement. The seconds walked back a fair distance away from their duelist and stood in attention.

"Alright, wands at the ready!" Theo announced.

Harry and Draco had their wands in front of their faces when the latter repeated the same words he said on their first duel during their second year,

"Scared, Potter?"

The man in question smirked and replied, "You wish."

With a swish they had their wands on their sides and gave a small bow to one another. They turned their back towards one another and walked several distance away then take their accepted combative positions.

"On the count of three." Theo paused and counted back slowly, "Three…Two…ONE!"

"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled immediately.

"Protego!" Draco exclaimed and the spell bounced off of the protective sphere. "Flipendo!"

Harry quickly dodged to the left and though, "Stupefy!"

"Petrificus Totalus!" Draco thought as well and their two spells collided then bounced off.

Meanwhile on the spectators seat, Scorpius, James and Rose watched in awe at the duel.

"Dad is really strong. He's casting his spells non-verbally now!"

"Wow, Dad is so awesome! Him and Uncle Draco are on even ground!" James exclaimed proudly.

"They're both so cool!" Rose praised happily.

"Expelliarmus!" Harry thought quickly as he stood up from the Flipendo Tria Jinx sent his way. Draco's wand was knock out of his hand to land outside of the protective sphere placed around them and he cursed himself for momentarily slipping his guard after physically repelling Potter back.

"No more wand, Malfoy? How about admitting defeat?" Harry asked rhetorically while maintaining the accepted combative position.

Draco looked at Harry with a confident smirk,
"We're not second years anymore, Potter. I don't necessarily need my wand to beat you." The Slytherin Prince kneeled and place both of his hands on the ground then yelled, "Bombarda Maxima!"

Soon the ground Harry is standing on cracked open and he jumped away. He just regain his footing when he heard the Disarming Charm directed at him and his wand was knocked out of his hand.

"You asked for this, Malfoy." The Boy-Who-Lived said as he adjust his the bridge of his glasses with his pointer finger. "Pura Aqua!"

A jet of water in the shape of a stag came out from both of his hand, which he directed at Draco.
The current head of the Malfoy family whispered his signature spell –the Fiendfyre- and breathed out pitch-black flame. With a flick of his right hand, the flame came out in the shape of an Antipodean Opaleye dragon –aggressively attacking Harry's stag.

"Voldemort went so far as to pit his Fiendfyre against Draco's and the former lost. Even though it's not something to be proud of, but Voldemort himself praised Draco for his Fiendfyre and victory against him. His pitch-black flames are a reminiscent of hell's fire. It's hotter and much more powerful." Justin thought as he looked at Harry and Draco trying to gain momentum against one another because of their collided spell. Justin made no move to step out of the sphere, so do Theo and Terrence. They all know that not only is this Draco's signature spell but it is also because he has absolute control on it.

The spectators watched in bated breath to see who between the two men would win this showdown as neither is backing down. Theo looked down at his watch and exclaimed loudly, "Time is up! Stop your duel!"

"Stalemate, Malfoy?" Harry asked a couple of minutes after hearing Theo's announcement.

"Stalemate, Potter." Draco agreed and stopped their spells at the same time. Once their spells ended, Harry and Draco stood straight for a few seconds before slumping down to the ground. Terrence and Justin instantly ran towards their respective 'leader'.

"I declare the outcome of this duel to be a DRAW!" Theo announced and the spectators were silent before realising that it was over. They all stood up from their seat and clapped loudly at the two men.

"You were dashing up until you slump to the ground." Justin praised as he supported Draco up.

"What are you talking about? A Malfoy is always dashing even when he slumps." He said with a smirk while dusting dirt from his shirt and dress pants.

"If you're able to say that then you're not as tired as I imagined." Justin grinned at him.

Terrence helped Harry up and asked him, "Are you okay, mate?"

"Yeah, a bit tired but I'll manage." Terrence breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at him. He then dropped his voice so only Harry could hear him.

"That's good. What's our plan…for tonight?"

"I'll take a nap to recover my strengths and I'll tell Malfoy to do the same. We have to be ready for tonight." Harry whispered back. "We'll take this as our warm up."

"Dad!" Scorpius and James yelled at their father in unison while running towards them respectively.

Draco's face instantly softens when he saw his son run up to him then hugged him tightly upon close contact. He reciprocated the hug and kneeled down to look at Scorpius. Silver meets hazel.

"You were so strong and cool, Dad! I mean you were casting your spells non-verbally and not to mention wandless!" Scorpius' eyes sparkle with pride and awe. "Oh, you also used Fiendfyre! I read that its really hard to control and if you're not strong enough then it will go crazy. But you did it effortlessly!"

"It's his signature spell, Scorpius." Justin smiled down at the young boy.

"Uncle Justin! How are you? I'm sorry I forgot to say 'hi' to you earlier." Scorpius looked up at him apologetically.

Justin just laughed at him and patted his head gently, "That is perfectly fine. I'm doing well, thank you. I see you're doing well too."

Scorpius nodded happily at him, "By the way, Uncle, what did you mean by signature spell?"

"Oh! I guess Nott hasn't touch on it yet. Signature spell or move is the spell most commonly cast by a witch or wizard, especially when used in the context of duelling. It is a spell that the caster is best at. So, Fiendfyre would be your Dad's while let's see…Harry would be the Disarming Charm."

"Exactly." Harry piped in as he approached them with his son and right hand man in tow.

"Uncle Harry, you were amazing too earlier!" Scorpius praised as James nodded in agreement.

"Why thank you, Scorpius." Harry smiled at him. Soon, Rose including the rest of the Big 7 members along with their right hand and left men/women approached them –talking animatedly about the duel that just transpired. While the adults were talking, Scorpius caught James and Rose's gaze. They nodded at him to execute the plan that they made last month.

"Dad." Scorpius called a bit loudly. The Big Seven including their right hand and left hand men/women immediately turned their attention to Scorpius. The child in question took a deep breath and looked at his father with a resolute gaze. Then said what he has found out for the past couple of weeks.

"Hermione Granger is my mother, right?"

"Hermione Granger is my mother, right?"

It sounded like a question but it's more of a statement. "I personally think that it's fine to declare it in front of all the Uncles and Aunties here. Because you're all close friends with Mom, right? Especially Uncle Harry and Uncle Ron."

The Big Seven along with their right and left hand people were silent. It was Draco who broke the silence with a small laugh.

"How you presented your findings is very…Granger like. You may look like me but you act just like your mother. Case in point, you being the first ever Malfoy to be sorted to Gryffindor. I even heard from Theo and Longbottom that you inherit her tendency to…raise your hand and answer questions correctly. It shows that you are extremely intelligent, studious and well-read as she is too."

He smiled proudly at him and Scorpius blushed lightly.

"Mom is…the Brightest Witch of Her Age, right?"

"Of course! If it wasn't for Hermione, Harry and I wouldn't be here." Ron jumped in enthusiastically.

"Or any of us for that matter." Ginny winked at Scorpius who smiled happily.

"It seems you three know about our history in great detail already." Luna whimsically chimed in. The new Golden Trio nodded and this time it was Rose who reviewed their research results.

"The Big 7 consists of Dad, Aunt Gin, Uncle Harry, Uncle Draco, Uncle Neville, Aunt Luna and Aunt Hermione. Each of you has a right and left hand men or women. But…we don't know who it is though."

"This seems like a good time as any." Harry remarked and looked at Terrence who nodded at him.

"We'll do this properly and re-introduce ourselves to you again then. I'm Terrence Higgs and I'm Harry Potter's right hand man." He finished with a smile. "Harry doesn't have a left hand man, so, it's only me."

"I'm Pansy Weasley née Parkinson. I'm Ron Weasley's right hand woman also wife and mother of his child."

"What, Mom!" Rose exclaimed in shock. "You both better tell me the full story behind this!" Her parents nodded with matching cheeky smiles on their faces.

"I'm Hannah Abbott and I'm Luna's right hand woman." She said while giving them a motherly smile.

"I'm Nev's right hand man and my name is Terry Boot." He gave them a gentle smile

"I'm Millicent Bulstrode. I'm Gin's right hand woman." She winked.

The three children then looked at the last two men standing appropriately on Draco's right and left side.

Ernie smiled and introduced himself, "Our turn, hey. I'm Ernest or Ernie Macmillan and I'm Draco Malfoy's left hand man."

"I'm Justin Finch-Fletchley. And I'm the Slytherin Prince's right hand man." He said cheerfully.

As soon as the re-introduction is finished Scorpius asked them a question,

"Does Mom have a right hand or left hand men/women?"

Before Draco got the chance to answer he was cut off by an excited voice,

"She does! It's us!"

Blaise Zabini swiftly hit Theo on the shoulder and scolded him,

"You're too loud. Turn it down!"

Theo then whispered, "Dear students, it's me. I'm Theodore Nott and I'm Hermione Granger's right hand man."

Blaise sighed at Theo's antics and turned to the children with a smile,

"I'm Blaise Zabini. The Bella or Hermione Granger's left hand man."

"Wait…" James started confusedly. "I would've thought that Uncle Blaise and Uncle Nott would be Uncle Draco's right hand or left hand men. This is…kind of confusing."

"We came to an agreement that it is not best to have someone from your own house to be your right or left hand men/women. If we choose someone we know or close to, it will be pretty obvious. House rivalry back in the day was brutal, so they would never expect Terrence and I to ever work together." Harry explained. "But as to why Terrence wanted to work with me. I guess you would have to ask him yourself because he never told me."

Terrence grinned at Harry and said, "Each of us has our personal reasons on why we become their right or left hand. I'll tell you three another time. That I promise."

"Uncle Justin? Uncle Ernie?" Scorpius looked at them curiously.

"I will be happy to tell you my story. But the gist of it is because I find your father…very funny."

"Personally, it's because I find him weird. For example, he's the only one who calls me Ernest." Ernie answered.

"You become my right and left hand because of those reasons?" Draco exclaimed bewilderedly. "Ernest is your name. Why do you find it weird when I call you that?"

"No one calls me that, Drake. Not even my parents." He sighed while Justin snickered.

"Why the heck did they name you Ernest then?"

"Why don't you ask them? This is clearly bothering you." Justin pointed out and Ernie nodded at the suggestion.

"How am I supposed to? They passed away three years ago!"

"Well then give it up. Stop making a scene. You're embarrassing yourself." Ernie shook his head as the people around them started giggling at their banter.

"Ugh, you bloody Hufflepuffs!"

"There is still time before the main event tonight. Would you three like to come with us and hear more stories? This is your chance to ask us anything you want. About the Big Seven and/or Hermione." Luna put her hands together and tilted her head at them with an inviting smile.

"But you three probably know almost everything by now. Straight from the source is always best. What do you say?" Neville asked as well.

"Let's go now, yeah? Harry and Malfoy here needs to take a nap after that duel, so come on!" Ron added and the three children nodded at the offer then they all head off towards the Guest Quarters. Theo excused himself because he has to prepare for the anniversary tonight and dragged Blaise with him.

Main Courtyard – Underground Room

Hogwarts

11.00 AM

Rhianon Gregmeer smiled in satisfaction as she saw the body on the stone table in front of her. She then proceeded to draw a white circle around the stone table with her wand and breathed a sigh of relief that this is it. After years of constantly changing bodies and being forcefully separated from her beloved and son, she finally acquired her body back.

Although, it was strange to see herself in front of her –in the nude and aging still without a soul in place. Her brown curly hair had grown too long that it reached her buttock and she certainly had grown in height too. Her face had matured as well but other than that her body was very much as she remembers it to be –with the bloody red mudblood scar still intact on her right arm and her roman numeral seven tattoo on the inside of her right bicep.

The last process that she must do is a flashy one. She thank the Gods that Theo and Blaise thought up of a plan to not only distract the Hogwarts occupants along with the guests while at the same time entertain them. Although, she suspected the latter to mastermind the event since Blaise Zabini often reminded her of Gepetto (Pinocchio's puppeteer) with how he pulls the strings. He is also the face of cool, calm and collected. Blaise prefers to stand behind the scenes and not make his involvements known. She certainly noticed that Theo mellowed a bit as he age along with being the Defence Against The Dark Arts Professor. Although, sometimes personality wise, he could still be so childlike and easily excitable. Not to mention, Theo had gain a bit of a reputation after the Second Wizarding War. Everyone due to his haphazard yet skillful way of dueling gave him the nickname 'Hysterical Theodore Nott'.

Rhianon saw the ceiling of the underground room tremor and knew that the duel has started. She opened the mouth of the body in front of her. Then she waited for 10 minutes before taking out her wand and with her eyes closed, she whispered, "Synchronisation!" At exactly 11.11 AM. Soon, the room was engulfed in blinding bright white light and Rhianon jerked up with a gasp. Her neck was tilted back, eyes and mouth wide open. Even though, she does this many a time, it was still excruciatingly painful and tries to muffle her scream. She felt as though something is trying to come out of her body through her mouth.

Moments later, a ball of light stood above Rhianon Gregmeer's body and make its way to the body. It entered through the opened mouth and the ball of light makes it way to its designated place inside the body. Seconds later, after a gasp of air, hazel eyes shot open. Hermione Granger is back.

She first adjusted her breathing and blinked several times. She was about to move her limbs by lifting herself up when the underground room burst open.

"Rhia-AAAAGHH!" Someone screamed after trying to call her old name. Hermione looked to the left towards the door and saw Theo with his hands over his face. "I told you to turn it down! You're too- Caro dio!" (1)

Blaise who came after Theo stopped his sentence and quickly closed his eyes with his right hand.

"Draco will kill us! Burn, image. Burn!" Theo yelled at himself as he tries to take the image of naked Hermione out of his mind.

"Bella, if you would please clothed yourself. Or are you still numb?"

"Let me test that. Give me a few minutes." Hermione said as she tested both of her arms, feeling that she could move them just fine, she lifted herself up and pointed her right hand at Rhianon Gregmeer's body. "Accio Wand!"

Her wand flew to her right hand and she gripped it then whispered, "Indumenta! (2) While at the same time imagining what she wants to wear from her closet and soon, she was fully clothed.

"You both can open your eyes now." Hermione said as she moved to stand from the stone table. She was about to lose her balance but Theo and Blaise ran to help steady her. The two Slytherins helped her stand properly and when they were sure she managed to regain her footing back they let her go.

"Did you both brew the potion for me?"

"Of course!" Theo answered as he looked at Blaise who took out a maroon colored potion vial from his suit pocket.

"Here you go, Bella." The Gryffindor gave them a grateful smile as she took the potion then proceeded to drink it straight away. She could feel the numbness dissipating from her body, which gives her hope that she will be good to go for tonight.

"Let's look at you." Theo said as he looked at her up and down then once he was done, he looked at her with a wide grin. "Yep! You look sensational! Oh, but lose the hair. Far too long, if I do say so myself."

Hermione just hummed in agreement and pointed her wand to her hair. She whispered a spell and her hair length was now just past her shoulders.

"Now, we wait until night arrives." She said as her right and left hand men nodded.

"While we wait, you should hear what Scorpius did earlier!" Theo said excitedly and Hermione smiled.

"Let's hear it then."

"The new Golden Trio looked really satisfied with the stories." Hannah Abbott smiled pleasantly.

"I can imagine. They spent a month to uncover the past. Maybe after the Third War they'll be able to truly enjoy Hogwarts." Millicent Bulstrode mused out loud.

"That's why we're finishing this tonight." Pansy Weasley said determinedly.

"But it's awfully un-Slytherin of them to attack tonight with us and even the Order members present." Terry Boot noted curiously.

Terrence Higgs agreed with Terry's line of thinking, "We must be very careful. There is a hidden agenda to this."

"Let's just ready ourselves for tonight." Ernie Macmillan said.

"Because they would need all the support." Justin Finch-Fletchley finished as his fellow right and left hand people nodded at the statement. Then they all looked up towards the staircase leading to the rooms where the Big Seven is resting and preparing themselves for tonight.

7 October 2011

Great Hall

Hogwarts

7.00 PM

Scorpius, James and Rose sat on the Gryffindor table with their fellow housemates waiting for the anniversary to start. The Great Hall was abuzz with excited chatters for it to begin. The Ministry officials, honoured guests and the Order members are all already seated in the table that is placed in front of the staffs' table. Another table with seven seats were placed in front of the Ministry officials, honoured guests and Order members table, which is of course saved for the Big Seven.

Headmistress Minerva McGonagall stood up from throne like chair on the staffs' table and walked to stand behind the podium.

"To the Ministry officials, honoured guests and the Order members. I would like to say welcome to Hogwarts! It is a pleasure for us to host the remembrance and anniversary at our home. But I also believe that it is an appropriate place as the Second Wizarding War took place at this very castle and the Dark Wizard was beaten at this very hall. Let us remember those who have fought and lost their lives to defend the Wizarding World, as we wouldn't be where we are tonight if it wasn't for their contribution and sacrifice. So, let us also celebrate our hard-earned victory tonight!" McGonagall paused then smile, "But before that let me introduce you to the people who played a major key role in the fight against Voldemort. In the Wizarding World, they are regarded as the strongest and talented wizards and witches of their generation. Please welcome the Big Seven!"

The hall were filled with applause and cheers as the Big Seven walked inside towards their table before giving their Professor a small hug or a handshake. Ron Weasley, Ginevra Potter, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy took their seat while Harry Potter took Professor McGonagall's place behind the podium.

"On behalf of the Big Seven including our right and left hand people, we would like to say thank you for the warm welcome. When we stepped through those huge Hogwarts gates, our thoughts were that we're home, because this was indeed our home for seven years. Not only that, this place is also where we met one another and where we established the Big Seven. Like Headmistress McGonagall said earlier, this is also the very same place where the battle occurred and this very hall is where we triumphed over Voldemort and his Death Eaters. But despite winning, we encountered losses as well, which is why today we will remember them –those who fought bravely. Because without them we won't be here." Harry said firmly and gratefully. He then took his seat followed by roaring applause. McGonagall who is now standing behind the podium once more was about to say something when a maniacal cackle could be heard across the Great Hall.

"Brilliant speech by the Boy-Who-Lived. Is there anything you can't do? Speaking of your speech, I agree with you there. We too want to remember those who have fallen for our cause. But…out of revenge!" A young woman with messy black silver tips hair and black dress sauntered confidently towards the podium. "As expected of the Big Seven. You're not the least bit stunned to see me. Or curious to know who I am."

"We know who you are." Harry replied calmly while gripping his wand under the table.

She laughed deliriously, "I'm so glad! But the other people in the room don't. So, I shall introduce myself. I am Delphini Riddle. I am the proud daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange AND Lord Voldemort. You may call me…Lady Augurey."

Draco scoffed at her,

"Please. You are as rotten as your parents. Your lineage is nothing to boast about."

Delphini turned to look at the blonde and smirk at him,

"Draco Lucius Malfoy, I have heard about you from mother. We are cousins, are we not? Which would've made you perfect to be one of my allies. But instead you chose the disgusting side. Moving back to lineage though, I could say the same thing about your son." Draco's eyes narrowed dangerously. "He is the result of your mating with that mudblood. How incredibly stupid of you to soil your pure Malfoy blood with something that should've been exterminated centuries ago."

"I dare you to insult my son and his mother again. I will burn you where you stand!" Draco threatened murderously as he stood up from his seat and pointed his wand at her. Harry placed his hand in front of Draco and looked at her angrily. They couldn't afford to act rashly as they're in a room full of people and half of them are still children. They couldn't risk the spell not bouncing of and ended up hurting someone.

"What is it that you want?"

"I've been waiting for that question. Well, easy. I want to exterminate all of you and the muggleborns. Purify the Wizarding World of them and blood-traitors. Eventually I'll move on to muggles."

"You are as insane as your bloody parents. As if we'll let you bloody get away with saying that." Ron said furiously as he too stood up from his seat and pointed his wand at her. At that the other Big Seven members stood up and had their wands pointed towards her as well.

Delphini just shook her head as though they were stupid,

"I didn't come here by myself you know." After she said that, Daphne Greengrass followed with her younger sister Astoria, Tracey Davies, Gregory Goyle, Vincent Crabbe, Marcus Flint and Adrian Pucey walked in to the Great Hall who had their wands pointed towards the Hogwarts students.

"If you dare move an inch, we won't hesitate to kill some of these students off, you know."

The Order members got to their feet and raised their wands at them. Delphini walked casually towards the Gryffindor table then stopped to stare at Scorpius, James and Rose who were sitting with a wicked smile. Delphini ushered Astoria to stand beside her and in front of the three children. Astoria looked down at Scorpius hatefully and he looked back at her in fear. He closed his eyes to wait for the incoming physical abuse. But it never came. Gasps could be heard and when he opened his eyes he saw her. Hermione Granger, his mother, standing protectively in front of him with the tip of her wand pressed on Astoria's neck.

"Hurt my son again you bitch and I'll give you another taste of my cruciatus curse."

"Hermione Granger! I forgot to say thank you for destroying half of my estate. I see you reversed the process. Not bad for a mudblood." Delphini praised smugly.

"What a joke you are Delphini. Preaching about purity when you like your father are not even pureblood." She scoffed as she pressed the tip of her wand harder on Astoria's neck. "We should take you all right here right now and take care of those back at your little home too."

"Oh, what? Risking all the little children here? How the mudblood have fallen! You're as merciless as us!" Delphini cackled.

"Don't put me in the same league as you." Hermione smirked then calmly said to her right and left hand men. "Theo! Blaise! Now!"

"Woohoo! You got it!" Theo yelled from the Great Hall entrance with Blaise beside him. Both of them raised their wands and in unison yelled,

"Excitant Protego Totalum!" (3)

Blue hazy sphere appeared around the four houses long tables, the staffs including the Ministry officials, honoured guests and Order members' table.

"I'm sure my fellow Big Seven members don't need the protective sphere placed around them too." She said confidently while giving them a knowing glance.

"You kept your promise, Granger. Ever the Gryffindor." Draco said as he slowly approached her with his wands raised at their enemies.

"Drake, stop beating around the bush and say you miss her!" Justin yelled from his seat on the Ministry officials, honoured guests and Order members' table.

"Sod off, Justin!" He shouted back at his right hand man.

"I miss you too, Draco. And you as well, my Scorpius." Hermione glance back at her son who looked at her in shock and awe.

"Draco is supposed to be mine, you filthy mudblood! I was the one who should bear his heir!" Astoria struggle to shout as Hermione's wand dug to her throat more painfully with every word she said.

Delphini sighed and shrugged,

"I'm tired of this. We just wanted to say our 'hellos' today. I think we best be off now. I have dinner plans with Mother and I'm sure she's waiting for me to tell her all about our encounter with the Big Seven."

"And how are you going to go back?" Ginny asked her indignantly. The Big Seven surrounded Delphini and her Death Eaters in a circle. Voldemort's daughter just smirked and said, "Like this!"

With a swish of her black cloak and wand, she flew in a form of jet-black smoke stream up towards the ceiling.

"Draco!" Harry yelled as the blonde swish his wand and in the exact form like Delphini flew towards the ceiling to chase her.

"It seems she left you." Luna dreamily pointed out with a steely gaze and wand up still.

"Don't be too sure, Loony." Tracey sneered as she yelled, "Fumus!" (4)

The hall was soon surrounded with black smoke and Neville pointed his wand while thinking, "Ventus!" (5)

A gust of wind blew black smoke away and the hall is slowly cleared with no more Death Eaters on sight.

"Bloody hell!" Ron roared angrily at the empty space. He, Harry and Ginny immediately approached their children to make sure they're alright after the whole ordeal. Pansy who was sitting on the table in front of the staffs' table also dash towards her daughter.

Hermione on the other hand turn around to look at Scorpius, her son, who now got out of his seat and walked cautiously to stand in front of her. She kneeled down so they're eye to eye. Hazel meets hazel.

She gave him a motherly smile and softly said, "It is so nice to finally see you properly, Scorpius Orion Malfoy."

"I-its nice to finally meet you, Mom. Umm…about Dad, will he be okay?" He nervously and concernedly asked. Hermione just gave him a reassuring smile. "Your father will be just fine. He's a very strong wizard and you saw a glimpse of his skills in action with your Uncle Harry earlier today."

Scorpius was so happy to finally meet his mother and wanted to hug her out of joy also relief, but he was unsure on how to go about it. But she surprised him by hugging him firmly yet lovingly and he raised his arms to hug her back tightly.

As they pull away from another but still maintaining a close distance with each other. Hermione observed him properly and said, "You sure have grown. You look just like your father when he was your age."

"With your eyes though. Not to mention, your personality." Ron piped up with a slight shiver at their younger days where Hermione would boss him and Harry around to do their schoolwork.

"What was that?" Hermione glared at him and Ron moved to stand behind Harry in fear.

"I mean you're the reason Harry and I are still here!"

"That's what I thought you said." She smiled as she stood up and was immediately bombarded with hugs from her fellow Big Seven.

"Hello? Are you all forgetting someone?" Draco asked exasperatedly as he landed next to them. "Someone who just chased Voldemort's deranged daughter?"

"Nah, doesn't ring a bell." Ron muttered while placing his right hand under his chin. The Slytherin just waved him off and walked to stand in front of Hermione. They stared at one another. Silver meets hazel.

"Granger, you've got a lot of explaining to do and I mean a lot. Why did you just disappear on-" Hermione shut him up by planting her lips on his, which he returned desperately. He soon had his arms around her waist while her arms are wrapped around his neck. Scorpius looked at his parents in a mixture of surprise because of the sudden kiss and happiness because he could clearly see the love they had for another –even after all these years and separated just as long. The two soon break away from each other then Hermione looked at her son and beloved.

"I will tell you everything that happened and why I had to leave you both."

"Hey, what about us, 'Mione?" Harry whined and Hermione just looked at him with a smile.

"Of course you guys too. We'll do this later. We need to talk to Headmistress McGonagall about what happened."

"The Ministry officials, honoured guests and Order members too." Neville added as their right and left hand people approach them. "Will it be alright for you guys to double check around Hogwarts and put protective sphere just in case?"

"Of course, Nev. We'll do it right now." Terry said as the others nodded at the Herbology Professor's request.

"We might have to use the Room of Requirement again after we're done here. Just like old times." Ginny grinned wryly. Their right and left hand people nodded at that then left the Great Hall. The Big Seven walked towards the tables up ahead.

Scorpius knows that they have a lot to do because of this incident and he didn't want to keep them occupied but he couldn't help calling them, "Mom…Dad…"

Both of them looked down at their son with matching gentle gazes,

"You might have to go back to the Gryffindor Common Room but once this is done, we'll come and meet you there. Although, we have to ask permission from Headmistress McGonagall." Hermione's face then spread into a large smile. "I forgot to say. Congratulations on being sorted to Gryffindor as you know I'm one myself. It doesn't matter which house you are sorted in, as they are all spectacular and we're still going to be proud of you no matter what."

"Permission? What are we, students? We'll just go straight there." Draco snorted at her and Hermione snapped her attention at him.

"It is against Hogwarts covenants for parents or professors to enter common areas without specific permission from the Headmaster or Headmistress. The Hogwarts: A History clearly states-"

"Alright, Granger! We'll ask for bloody permission!"

"Don't swear!"

Scorpius looked at them with an amused grin at their banter as he heard earlier today from his aunts and uncles that they're legendary. Not to mention funny to watch and they were right!

"Oi! Are you two done flirting? Let's go!" Ron yelled at from the tables up ahead.

"We'll see you soon, Scorpius." His mother smiled at him while his father patted his head affectionately and they both walked off.

Gryffindor Common Room

Hogwarts

10.00 PM

After the incident, Headmistress McGonagall told the students to eat their dinner and enjoy the feast. But they all find it hard after the terrifying incident and declaration of the upcoming Third Wizarding World by Voldemort's daughter. Their Head of Houses led the students out of the Great Hall half an hour later back to their respective common rooms, but since the Gryffindor Head of House is part of the Big Seven they were instead escorted by their flying instructor, Professor Rolanda Hooch. A Gryffindor Prefect whispered the password to the Fat Lady and she opened the door for them. Professor Hooch ushered them in, some of the Gryffindors returned to their dorm rooms while some hang around the Common Room, which is what the new Golden Trio are currently doing.

"I'm so happy for you, Scorp! You finally met your real mother!" Rose excitedly congratulated him.

"Yeah, Uncle Draco and Aunt Hermione looked close too." James added enthusiastically.

Scorpius smiled at his two best friends but then frowned,

"On the other hand, I can't believe that there will be another War."

James sighed, "Or the fact that Voldemort has a daughter who is obsessed with purifying the Wizarding World too."

"I imagined we would scream in panic after it ended earlier but it was strangely quiet. No one even said anything." Rose pointed out somberly. "But I'm sure it'll be all over the Daily Prophet tomorrow."

"Then there'll be panic." James finished for his cousin as Scorpius nodded in agreement. They were engulfed in silence over the whole ordeal when the Fat Lady shouted in a sing-song tone,

"Mr. Scorpius Malfoy! Mr. Malfoy Senior and Ms. Granger are here to see you!" Scorpius immediately stood up from the sofa and was about to walk towards the common room's entrance when it burst opened. He saw his father stroll inside the Gryffindor Common Room confidently, which earned whispers from the students present there.

"Draco! We're not supposed to come in!" His mother said as she followed him inside reluctantly.

"Oh, please, Granger. You act as if I never step foot inside the lions den. I am dating their prized Gryffindor Princess."

"But still-!"

"If you quote another thing from the Hogwarts: A History about this, I'm going to fly out of here." Draco groaned and turn to his son with a smirk, "You'll find that your mother is a stickler for rules. Well, she was the Head Girl."

"And you're the Head Boy." Hermione pointed out. "Moving on, Headmistress McGonagall gave us permission to spend the night with you, Scorpius. That is if you would like to?"

Scorpius' eyes sparkle and he nodded excitedly at her offer, which made his parents smile.

"But where are we staying?"

She vaguely answered, "In my quarters. Shall we go?"

"Okay!" Scorpius replied and turned to his two best friends.

"Have fun, Scorp!" They both said to him in unison and that they'll see him tomorrow in the Great Hall for breakfast.

"Oh, before that. It is nice to finally meet you both too. James Potter and Rose Weasley. You both remind me so much of Harry and Ron. Well, you are their children of course. It is also nice to see that the three of you are close friends like how we are." Hermione praised with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you too, Aunt Hermione!" Rose smiled prettily.

"Yeah, next time, please tell us about your adventures with our dads." James piped in.

"Of course! I will see you two soon. Make sure you both get plenty of rest. It has been a long day." The two nodded at her then bid their best friend goodbye and watched with delight as he exits the common room along with his parents.

Rhianon Gregmeer's Quarters

Hogwarts

10.35 PM

Hermione led her two boys to her quarters or to Rhianon Gregmeer's, but they are the same person so it is technically hers. She ushered the two of them to come in and make themselves comfortable. Scorpius sat on the four-seater sofa with her father on his left while his mother stood in front of them.

"Would you like something to drink? How about a hot chocolate?" Hermione gently asked and Scorpius nodded at her offer since that is his favourite beverage. But found it weird how his mother would immediately offered that to him. "Okay, I'll be right back."

"Its your mother's favourite beverage too. She and I used to drink hot chocolate a lot in our Heads common room." Draco mused as Scorpius noted that he must've seen the confused look on his face. The young Malfoy finds it refreshing that his father is a lot more open about his mother now that she's back on their lives.

"…Are you happy that she's back?" Scorpius turned to look at him seriously.

"I am. Are you?" The Malfoy Senior looked back at him with the same intensity. Scorpius returned his look determinedly and said.

"Of course. I have been looking for her and wanting to know her."

Draco chuckled, "Such a cheeky answer. Do you have any other question for me?"

"Do you love her?"

He saw his father's gaze soften, "I have never stopped loving her."

Scorpius looked at him happily at his confession and although he could see it plain as day when they kissed in the Great Hall, he still couldn't help but ask.

"Sorry for the wait. Three hot chocolates with marshmallows on top." Hermione said as three mugs followed behind her from the kitchen and took a seat on Scorpius' right. With a small swish of her right hand, the mugs were placed on the table in front of them and she turned to him.

"First of all, I owe you an apology. I'm so very sorry for everything you've been through all these years. I'm so very sorry as well for not being a constant presence in your life. I don't want to sing my own tune but I wasn't completely absent. I have been present but not as much as I would've liked." She paused as Scorpius looked at her curiously at her last statement. "Do you remember…Mirage Greenhorn? And of course you know Professor Rhianon Gregmeer?"

Scorpius' eyes widened as realization hit him. She was right, she may not be present but she wasn't exactly absent either. So, that's why, he always felt comfortable around those two women.

"Polyjuice potion?" He immediately asked his mother who looked at him proudly while his father just smirked.

"Such a clever boy. But in my situation, no, it is something more ancient and dark. It is a process called 'ni docta comes animae' or in English it would be 'Bodiless Soul'. The Lestranges were the ones who conducted the process. I was their guinea pig as they were researching ways to revive Voldemort. But this process couldn't be used as Voldemort's soul has already departed from the living because he died. In my case, I didn't die as my soul was forced to get out of my body. You could say…I was a floating ball of light due to my body being hidden by the Lestranges. They…have a lot of dead bodies thrown for the animals in the forest near their estate and I stumbled into a body they just finished…torturing." Hermione smiled uncomfortably at her son since this is pretty gruesome for an 11-year-old boy but she continued on.

"I inhabited it. As it is a muggle woman, I couldn't do magic. I ran for help to your Uncle Theo as he lives not too far from the Lestranges. It took me a whole day to convince him that it's me. I had to drink the truth potion twice and put under the Legilimens spell. Once, he was really sure, he called Uncle Blaise over to help me. Since then they've been helping me find a body for me to use, case in point, Mirage Greenhorn and Rhianon Gregmeer while at the same time looking for my real body. It has taken me years to find a way to reverse the process and I finally succeeded."

Scorpius listened intently at his mother's story and wracks his brain around it.

"Then you're not going anywhere anymore, Mom? You'll stay with me and Dad?"

"Of course. That is if you and your father allow me to come into your lives."

"You don't need to ask, Mom. I'm sure you know that I've been looking for you. I don't know about Dad though." Scorpius looked at his Dad and so does Hermione.

Draco thought that Scorpius could certainly be in Slytherin when the little devil put him on the spot and looked at him with feign innocence, "I'm not letting you leave again, Granger. Especially after the display you subjected me with in the Great Hall."

"You seem to enjoy it though." Hermione pointed out and he blushed slightly while waving her off, "Must be your imagination."

"Uh-huh. I believe you." She said and shared a knowing look with her son. "I have something else to share with you, Scorpius. Since I am Rhianon Gregmeer, the Headmistress has offered me to stay on as the Transfiguration Professor and I decided to take her kind offer. There will be no favouritism from me to you but I will be at Hogwarts with you."

Scorpius nodded excitedly at the prospect of seeing his mother around the castle, so she can spend more time with her and get to know her, not to mention learning from her. She is the Brightest Witch of Her Age.

But there was something else that Scorpius is worried about and he voiced it out to his parents,

"What about…Delphini and the Death Eaters?"

Draco and Hermione's face darken at his question but the Malfoy patriarch just place his hand on Scorpius' left shoulder gently,

"That is our concern, son. No heroic acts, please." Draco then looked at Hermione too when he said this, "Both of you. It's really bad for my health and I certainly don't want to meet the ancestors yet."

"Okay, Dad." Scorpius said and Draco raised his eyebrow at Hermione, who looked at him confusedly then sighed, "Yes, Father." Which earned a tiny snicker from Scorpius.

"Well, today has been a long day. Shall we go to bed? I'll show you to the guest room, Scorpius." The Gryffindor boy nodded his head and stood up followed by his mother, who extended her hand to him. He looked up at her happily and took it.

"Are you insinuating I share a bed with you, Granger?" Draco said as he stood up from the sofa with a smirk.

"You can share with Scorpius then or I would love to share with him instead."

Scorpius shook his head furiously, "Maybe not, Mom. I shared once with Dad and he moves around a lot. I couldn't get a wink of sleep."

"He has always been…twitchy. Oh! That word reminded me of a story I have to tell you when we were in our 4th year. You will absolutely love it!" Hermione giggled to herself and Scorpius looked very curious.

"What is it? Tell me!"

"Your father was-"

"Now, stop right there, Granger! I would not let you tell Scorpius that story."

"Would you prefer the others to do it? I'm sure Harry and Ron would be honoured." Hermione looked down at Scorpius and winked, "Don't worry, love. I'll tell you all about it when he's not around."

"Thanks, Mom!"

"Ugh, no." Draco just grumbled angrily while the mother and son shared a small laugh. Hermione led them to the guest room and once they were inside she flick her wand at Scorpius to change his uniform into pajamas. The young Malfoy climbed into bed with his parents standing beside it.

"Sleep well and sweet dreams, my Scorpius. We'll see you in the morning." His mother said then gave him a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"Good night, Scorp. You have a good rest now." His father patted his hair gently. Scorpius bid them goodbye as they exited the room and he promptly fell asleep with a smile on his face. Happy to finally met his mother and to having a proper family.

BIG SEVEN FACTS #10

A duel between Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy are said to be legendary as they are both regarded as the most powerful wizards and the best at duelling -even among the Big Seven. According to Draco, their current duel scores after the one they did at Hogwarts are 52-51, with him leading.

BIG SEVEN FACTS #11

The Wizarding World for his mastery in the Dark Arts considers Draco Malfoy a Dark Wizard. He is always praised for not sacrificing and/or damaging his soul despite dwelling in the Dark Arts due to his strong reason behind it, which is his love for Hermione Granger. This also enables him to cast a powerful corporeal Patronus charm in the shape of a male Antipodean Opaleye dragon.

When Draco acted as a spy for the Big Seven, he showed his talent for the Dark Arts and caught Lord Voldemort's attention. Draco was deemed worthy enough to be Lord Voldemort's apprentice and even manage to best his strongest lieutenant, Bellatrix Lestrange. He and Lady Augurey are currently the only known living Dark Arts users to be able to fly without support, something that was passed down to them by Lord Voldemort himself.

Draco's signature spell is Fiendfyre and he is able to control it with ease even without the use of his wand. According to Justin Finch-Fletchley, Lord Voldemort pitted his Fiendfyre against Draco's and lost. Furthermore, what makes his Fiendfyre and any fire-based spell one of a kind is the colour –pitch-black flame. It is said that the pitch-black flame is a reminiscent of Hell's fire –the hottest and most powerful type of flame.

"Malfoy has an affinity to fire, so, most of the spells he used and created are fire based. He likes…fiery things. Well, I guess that's why he fell for 'Mione since she's bloody fiery herself!" –Ron Weasley on Draco Malfoy's hidden pyromania

BIG SEVEN FACTS #12

Draco Malfoy's wand was 10" long, made of hawthorn wood, and had a unicorn hair core. Wands with unicorn hair as its core are the hardest to turn to Dark Arts, which is why as Draco delves more to the Dark Arts he is forced to purchase a new wand. His new wand is a 10" long, made of yew wood and a Rougarou hair core.

It is said that yew wands are among the rarer kinds, and their ideal matches are likewise unusual, and occasionally notorious. Yew retains a particularly dark and fearsome reputation in the spheres of duelling and all curses. However, it is untrue to say (as those unlearned in wandlore often do) that those who use yew wands are more likely to be attracted to the Dark Arts than another. The witch or wizard best suited to a yew wand might equally prove a fierce protector of others. Wands hewn from these most long-lived trees have been found in the possession of heroes quite as often as of villains. What is certain is that the yew wand never chooses either a mediocre or a timid owner.

The rougarou was a dangerous dog-headed monster that inhabited swampy regions of Louisiana in the United States. The rougarou hair core was believed to have an affinity for Dark magic, like vampires to blood. An American wandmaker named Violetta Beauvais was the one who made Draco's new wand as she herself uses rougarou hair as her own wand core.

"Mr. Malfoy's new wand is a fearsome one indeed. It is meant for a Dark Arts user. I have heard from Mr. Malfoy himself that it would put a bit of a fight when he has to use 'positive' spells such as the Patronus Charm." –Garrick Ollivander 1997 Journal Entry
