Catelyn learned the words of House Tully when she was a child, sitting next to her brother as their father told tales of old.

Somehow she has always known them, deep down in her bones. They are more than words, they define who she is.

The Starks have strange words: cold and omnious, prophecy and promise. Winter is coming.

It took years in Winterfell and the birth of six children to make her understand that the message is not so different after all.

In Winter a lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Family. She understands that.
