The lights dimmed and the catwalk began to shine. The baseline from the song started up and the announcer, welcomed everyone to the event.

"Our first designer tonight is miss Drehmel. Her theme tonight is books." Rena took her cue well, and began her prance across the catwalk, the lights illuminating her stunning looks. She flaunted the dress and accentuated the flow of the a-line hem. She stopped at the edge and struck her pose heading back up the catwalk. The next girl started her descent and passed Rena, her patchwork dress upsetting the normal balance and rocking a punk chic reading edge.

When she'd rocked her look the third model came out from the curtain in her Victorian look and gave back the balance of sophistication. As the fashion show continued on several of the other student gave me nods or praise for the outfits. The show came to a close and at the very end the teachers announced our scores.

"A list of passing students, who will not be required to take the written exam will be posted. However, we'd like to recognize several of our students who did exceptionally well. Mr. Haidian, Ms. Burkes, and Ms. Drehmel. You've already begun to make names for yourselves. Be proud."

As I packed up my supplies and the dresses, the boys came back to greet me.

"Good show dear! My I haven't been to one of these in years, but you all put on such a nice show I wouldn't mind coming again." Arthur was elated and I blushed.

"It was wonderful!" Matthew cheered. Francis gave me a hug and swung me around, only letting go when Russia want his hug as well. China commandeered me from Ivan when my face started going blue from the squeezing.

"Well done!" I smiled and nodded.

"Lets go home!" I exclaimed cheerily.

I had no clue what was waiting for me when we got there.
