A/N: I haven't written poems for awhile or even written in first perspective much, but I knew it was the best way to represent this couple. This is told from Kagami's POV.

Our Morning

She's beautiful

She's so harmless

Petite, her blue locks fanned out against her pillow

a calm ocean before the waves arrive to disturb the peace

Her thin body wrapped in my bed covers, shielding her bare olive skin from the cold and disapproving eyes

I can't help but stare

those emerald eyes not even opening a peek for me

Open them, love

let me see those tiered orbs of yours, the eyes that I've shot daggers into over the years with

my violet glare

I need you, your eyes-the grass beneath my feet, your hair-the sky above me

You're my oxygen, my angel

I inch my hand forward, brushing your bangs from your beauty mark

You murmur something in return, each word lazily flowing from your lips

like a river

and that's all it takes for me to smile
