Jareth was perched on a sturdy branch, in owl form. The tree he was perched on was located right in front of Sarah's room window. It had been a month since Sarah had beaten him and for hours every night since then he would be doing what he was doing now, watching her.

Jealousy, though Jareth hated to admit it, coursed through his veins as he watched the scene in Sarah's room. Sarah's parents had gone out like they did every Saturday, leaving her in charge of her baby brother, Tony, but tonight she had a friend over, a boy. Her first boyfriend, as of this moment, was giving her first kiss and another and another.

Jareth watched as the boy slowly pushed Sarah down onto her bed. Sarah, know what he wanted and knowing she was not ready for it, pushed the boy away and sat up. Jareth was slightly surprised that a person could show as much anger in the eyes as the boy did. The boy raised his hand and slapped Sarah across the face causing her to fall back onto her bed.

Jareth, floored by what he saw, flew through the window and into the teenage boy causing the boy to stagger back. Both Sarah, who was now sitting up, and the boy let out a surprised yelp. Jareth changed into his human body. The boy's eyes widened in fear. He turned around and made a run for the now opened door. Jareth grabbed him by the collar to stop him. He twisted his wrist, making his crystal ball to appear in his hand.

"If you ever so much as look at her, I'll," Instead of finishing his threat, he showed the boy his own death on his crystal. The boy nodded in understanding and Jareth let him go, making the crystal disappear in than air. The boy ran out of her room, down the stairs, and out of the house faster than Jareth thought was possible. Jareth was about to leave her bed room, but Sarah had gotten up and grabbed his arm, stopping him from leaving like he wanted to.

"Why did you do that?" She said as harshly as she could though Jareth could tell she was not mad at him. Jareth closed his eyes for a second before sighing and turning to face Sarah. He gently he pulled his arm free from her light grasp and cupped both of her cheeks with his hands. He stared in her eyes for a second. There was both surprise and confusion in them. He leaned into her and took her lips with his.

Sarah stood frozen with surprise. She had never expected to see the Goblin King let alone having him kiss her, but she was happy that both were happening. She started moving her lips with his. She felt Jareth smile.

He pulled away from her and stared into her eyes again. She was staring back, but she was blushing. The redness in her cheeks made him smile even more.

"I love you. Is that reason enough?" He said smirking slightly. She looked at him shocked. She looked away from him for moment, thinking, and then she looked back at him. She rolled her eyes and nodded, smiling.

"I love you too." She replied. He captured her lips with his own once more. She wrapped her arms his neck while he placed his hands on her hips. Suddenly her bedroom door opened to reveal her stepmother.

"Hey honey, we're h-"Karen, her step mother had started to say, but stopped when she saw a forty year old man kissing her sixteen year old step daughter. "What's going on in here?" Karen demanded. Sarah and Jareth, both, removed their hands form each other and placed them at their sides. Neither of them had heard her parents coming home. Sarah looked at Jareth and then to the floor blushing.

"Well…" Sarah started.
