Graduation

In Michael's POV

She was beautiful, she had always been beautiful to me. I smiled as I watched her walk onto the stage after been called. Today was her graduation and I was sitting with her mom, Mr G and Rocky who was sitting on his father's lap. I had been nervous when I had gone back to Mia's apartment the morning after her prom. I was even more nervous than I had been waiting for Mia at the elevators. That had been a lot easier than it had been going to her apartment, not sure how her mom would react to seeing me. But she had reacted a lot better than I thought she would. She seemed happy that it was me with Mia instead of that jerk J.P..

I felt so proud to be watching the love of my life graduate from high school. The last two years away from her had been complete hell and I had almost died. It had been so hard to stay away from her when all I wanted to do was hold her in my arms and plant a million and one kisses on those lips of hers. I wish I had never been with Judith, I wish that I had never made that mistake. But that was all in the past, I just had to move on. I smiled and stood up with everyone else to clap the graduates.

Afterwards we were all hanging out. I still hadn't had a chance to talk to Mia so I had decided to go over to her. I placed my hands over her eyes. She didn't scream, she just turned around so my hands fell from her eyes to her waist. It was like she knew it was me. She smiled at me. "Hey," she said as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I pulled her close.

"Hey sexy graduate," I smiled. I pulled off her hat, leaned down and kissed her lips gently. "I love you," I whispered. She smiled and kissed me again.

"I love you too," she replied. Those were the three best words I could ever hear come from her mouth.
