First Snowfall- Filled with sorrow

The cold, gray sky slowly let down big, fluffy flakes of snow onto the earth. A long, black hair, fifteen year old girl sat against a cross shaped grave, wearing a black winter coat and pants. Her head was tilted downwards, making her hair cover her face, as she held a white, decorative hair tie within her frostbitten hands. The hair tie had two strings coming down from it with snowflakes at the end of them. A big, decorative, grayish white butterfly was on top of the hair tie.

The girl looked like she wasn't even alive and acted more like she was dead. A black sheathed sword laid next to her in the already snow covered ground. It was dusted off every once in a while by the girl, a way to say that she was still alive. But for how much longer was a completely different question.

"Excuse me, miss, but are you alright?" a deep yet gentle sounding voice asked, causing the girl to lift her head slowly. In front of her was a gray haired man with glasses kneeling before her.

The girl looked at him with dull, pale red colored eyes as he stared at the pentacle marking above her right eye that trailed down to her cheek. Other than that, the girl looked like she had been in a fight or two as a few bruises and a couple of dry blood spots covered most of her face. Watery, blood like trails, starting from her eyes and moving down, covered the rest.

"Mind telling me your name, miss?" the man asked with a smile, making the girl widen her eyes a little.

It took her a moment or two before she finally spoke since the strange man's arrival. Her voice was soft but had an edge to it as well.

"Yuki-Daicho….Walker…." the girl, Yuki-Daicho said slowly.

"Mind if I call you "Yuki"?" the man asked.

"No…." Yuki said.

"What are you doing out here for? In this weather?" the man asked, looking around the area some.

"...name….?" Yuki asked, ignoring the man's question.

"Excuse me?" the man asked with a soft smile, looking towards Yuki.

"Your….name…." Yuki said, resting her free hand on the sword after dusting the snow off of it. "What is….your name….?"

"Oh! Where are my manners?" the man said, scratching the back of his head some. "My name is Froi Tiedoll. I am an Exorcist that's of a General class one."

Yuki's eyes grew wider as an expression of shock and some other unknown emotion shined brightly on her bruised face. Tears started to run down the beaten path once again as her eyes returned to normal.

"Please…." Yuki said pleadingly as Tiedoll looked at her kindly. "...let….me see….Allen…."

"Is "Allen" a friend of yours?" Tiedoll asked but was once again ignored.

"I want….to see….Allen….I have….Innocence….too…." Yuki said, tightly gripping her sword.

"I can tell," Tiedoll said, putting a hand on Yuki's cold shoulder. "Did this "Allen" person have Innocence too?"

For once since he met the girl, Yuki slowly nodded her head to the question.

"In his arm….there was….Innocence…." Yuki said.

"Did another general come and get him?" Tiedoll asked.

Yuki nodded her head once more but said nothing afterwards. Tiedoll slowly rose to his feet before helping Yuki to hers.

"We're not that far from the Black Order Headquarters. We might as well pay them a visit." Tiedoll said, looking off into the distance before looking at Yuki. "Don't you agree?"

Yuki nodded her head again before being gently pulled along by Tiedoll out of the graveyard, her sword and butterfly hair tie in hand. As they were about to pass through the gates, Yuki took one last look at the grave she was sitting at, tears flowing down her cheeks again. On the gravestone, it had the name of the person she thought of as her father and family: Mana Walker.
