He smirked a knowing smirk and began fishing for his car keys in his pocket, knowing that it wouldn't be very long until he was allowed to leave.

Connor on the other hand fidgeted around in his seat on the bench across from Becker's. He stared at the younger man until his eyes bulged.

Becker returned the look more casually as he fingered his keys dully, tracing the outline of each then finishing with the key ring. Connor was still giving him the pug look, eye lids twitching.

Connor was subconsciously crushing his phone in his hand, but he ignored the pain. He leaned forwards, determined to win this match.

Swallowing a burst of laughter, Becker watched as Connor's eyes begin to water. Just a few more seconds and the other man would have to take on the pile of paperwork no one wanted to do. Not to mention that it would take all night to finish it... Becker tipped his head to the side and watched Connor's suffering.

Connor knew he was going to lose. How Becker managed to keep his eyes open for over 2 minutes Connor did not know, but he did know he couldn't do it. A mental image of the stack of paperwork infiltrated his mind. The yellow folders, the colorful post it notes. The typed up letters, the signatures. The reading. He shivered slightly at the thought yet it motivated him to continue.

Becker was surprised Connor even kept going. The determination he had was admirable. But now at 3 minutes, Becker began feeling the slightest of discomfort.

Connor began kicking his legs fast, just to keep himself distracted. He grinned through the tears in his eyes as he watched with glee as Becker began caving.

Soon enough they were just about tied. Both men had an 50/50 chance of winning or losing.

Just as each man was sure the other was going to cave, a large hardcover book was slammed shut infront of them, causing both Connor and Becker to blink simultaneously, startled.

Connor wiped his eyes with both hands before looking up at the figure towering over them. "What was that for?"

Matt tucked his thick book under one arm while the other held the horrid stack of paper. "Both of you looked distracted. Be thankful I came along. You two have work to do." He raised one eyebrow expectantly and looked at each man.

"We were ju-" Becker started but Matt interrupted him.

"How about this? We split the paperwork in half and you each get a pile." Matt dropped two piles onto the bench next to Connor and began walking out of the locker room. "See you in the morning." He waved without looking back and Connor wondered why he was reading The Wonderful World We Live In: Modern Society.

Once he left Connor snapped his head back to Becker who was yawning. "Another round." He demanded, poking a finger at Becker's chest.

"No, Temple. My eyes are in pain."

"Come on, don't be a wimp, Action Man. My eyes are fine." Connor widened his eyes to demonstrate. Becker found that he looked like a frog now.

Instead on commenting on his bulging eyes, Becker grinned. "Good, then you can do the paperwork. Have a nice night." With that he dashed off after Matt leaving Connor with everyone's nightmare.

Connor could only stare at the paperwork, words on the page already swimming.

Suddenly his eyes hurt.
