Hey guys! Just a quick and very short one shot that hit me after my mom told me about yesterday. Also, I'm a few days behind on my Minx, but I don't recall Bianca ever flat out saying 'I love you' to Marissa although it's glaringly obvious. From my memory, she's always used neutral terms, I. E. I'm attracted to you, I have feelings for you, etc. Enjoy!
A/N: Hey, are any of you Otalia fans?
Marissa was a fairly simple person, it seemed. She liked what she liked and she wasn't afraid to say so. She was loving, attentive, affectionate...all the things Bianca had ever dreamed of. Marissa was the one who would initiate contact in public. Bianca remembers just yesterday, they were in a restaurant, eating and laughing much like they always did. To the naked eye, they probably appeared to be just really good friends. That is, until Bianca had ordered chocolate mousse while Marissa had a slice of pie. Marissa had made a joke just as Bianca went to put some in her mouth causing the other woman to snort and laugh, nudging the spoon and ending up with some mousse on her lip. She laughed a little more, grabbing a napkin to wipe it off but Marissa shook her head. She picked up her own and Bianca leaned forward, allowing Marissa to wipe her face. Only Marissa didn't wipe her face. At least, not the way Bianca had expected. Marissa leaned across the table, dropping all pretenses of using the napkin and licked Bianca's bottom lip before taking it between her own. Bianca remembered her breath catching, surprised that Marissa was so...bold in public. But then Marissa pulled back a fraction of an inch before leaning in and kissing Bianca quickly two more times before finally sitting down and going back to dinner like nothing had happened.
Then there was this morning. This morning had, for some reason, surprised her especially. Last night, Marissa had spent the night. They hadn't done anything beyond some heavy making out but they'd fell asleep in each others arms all the same. But when Bianca woke up, Marissa was gone but laughing was coming from the front of her small apartment. She stood, stretching and making her way and stopping dead in the kitchen. There stood Marissa, flour on her cheek as Gabby tossed a little more on her clothes. The woman laughed, picking up the little girl and blowing a raspberry on her little cheek as Miranda snuck into the chocolate chips. Marissa turned around,
"Hey! No fair!" she actually pouted at Miranda who laughed. Miranda held up a chocolate chip and Marissa took it happily, munching and grinning at the girls. "C'mon, we need to clean up before your mom gets up." she says to them, taking a moment to help Gabby wash her hands at the kitchen sink. Bianca stands, in a daze somewhat at them, amazed at how natural Marissa looked with the girls. "Alright girls we ne- Bianca!" Marissa exclaimed turning around with the breakfast tray and blushing a little. Bianca couldn't help the slight furrow of her brow that accompanied her laugh.
"Mimo, why don't you help Gabby pick out an outfit for the day?" she asked finally. Miranda nodded, taking Gabby's hand as Marissa stood there with a bright smile.
"I already fed them, I hope you don't mind." She said finally. Bianca shook her head, looking in the direction of her girls then back at Marissa. She was quiet so long, Marissa began to fidget. "Bia-" she was cut off when Bianca took the tray quickly and crashed their lips together. She let out a surprised moan but wrapped her arms around Bianca's neck all the same. She couldn't help but smile when Bianca pushed her against the kitchen counter and rested their foreheads together,
"I love you so much." Bianca finally whispered. Marissa pulled back, shock pulling at her features but an elated smile gracing her face.
"I've been waiting to hear you say that." she admitted softly. She leaned forward, kissing Bianca softly and smiling. Bianca smiled as well, maybe she was meant to be happy.
