Not First multi-chap, just first posted :) I'm not really sure where this is going but I've got a good feeling, so we'll see.

I was in a brisk run by the time I reached the end of the hallway.

"SASUKE?" I shouted desperately at the darkness.

Nothing came in return, and the shadow was closing in quickly.

"PLEASE, SOMEONE, PLEASE! ANYONE!"

Still nothing.

I tried wrenching the door open. No dice.

"NOO! IT'S GOING TO—"

Just kidding.

I have no life, and therefore no reason to be in that kind of situation. But wouldn't it be awesome if I was? Well, maybe not awesome while it was happening, but if I lived and could tell that story? I think it's worth being traumatized for life.

Correction, I have a life. Just…not that physically traumatizing.

I pondered that thought as I packed my bag silently. Well, to others. I was actually listening to my iPod, and let's face it, I just can't look cool while listening to Katy Perry. I have to at least LIP SYNC to it. Which is why I was strutting while I walked to the kitchen, not just walking.

As the song ended I grabbed my iPod to flip through the songs for another good one, and took the time to look at my shoes.

Black TOMS. I loved these shoes. They were beneficial to other people, comfortable, sorta stylish, and they matched like….everything.

Moral of the story: I loved TOMS (especially black ones) and listening to Katy Perry.

Sasuke probably doesn't like TOMS or Katy Perry. Probably prefers 'My Chemical Romance' and he definitely prefers converse. Which is fine by me, really, because TOMS don't really look that great on guys. And converse look fantastic with his skinny jeans. Er, skinny jeans in general.

There we go. Back to Sasuke.

I found myself struggling to just open my car door and unleash my senior year once and for all. C'mon, Sakura, just open the red door. Get in the seat. Drive the familiar path to school.

And yet, I just sat there, staring.

After about 2 minutes (I assume) my pocket buzzed and brought me back to reality.

Naruto: r u picking me up or am I walkin

I was probably glaring at the text, willing it to have a question mark and look like a real sentence. I was unsuccessful.

Finally, I responded with a yes and got behind the wheel, backing out slowly and driving down the street.

Yay, senior year!

Yeah, I COULD be excited like that. I'm normally a very happy person when someone doesn't piss me off, which Naruto seems to have a knack for doing.

Except, I found being excited challenging. Sasuke had already started getting his applications ready, ready to send off, and scholarships had started to come in. From Otogakure.

Naruto, on the other hand, was struggling to keep his grades up and get into community college.

While I silently rode on my 4.1 GPA into a full scholarship into Konoha University. Not far from home, but the exact Pre-Med program I was looking for.

Finally, I arrived at Naruto's apartment building and honked obnoxiously. A man in a robe glanced and glared, but then continued with his dog.

Naruto eventually came out, clad in his traditional orange athletic jacket and jeans.

"Way to dress up for the first day of school, dobe."

"Don't start with that."

I chuckled slightly before taking the loop and heading down the road to the school.

I offered to pick up Sasuke, but he managed to get a over the summer. After saving up everything (he lived mostly off of his trust fund and family's will money), he bought a 1999 used sedan. It's the principle of doing it yourself, I guess.

I conveniently found a spot next to aforementioned black sedan and Naruto and I got out. The empty car implied Sasuke was inside.

We found him in his usual spot next at a cafeteria table and sat down next to him.

"Welcome to the end of the best 4 years of our life, teme," Naruto said, putting his arm around Sasuke. He quickly shoved it off.

"Shut it, dobe."

"Not enough sleep?" I asked unhopefully.

My lack of hope was validated as no response came. Which I've learned to accept as a yes.

"Well, what's everyone's first period?" I asked, expecting at least SOMETHING this time.

"Physics," Naruto said, sighing.

"AP Calculus," Sasuke muttered. I smiled, at least he replied.

And then my smile grew as I looked at my schedule. "AP Calc for me too," I said, trying to sound calm (and probably failing), "14A?"

Sasuke nodded and I smiled again and slid my schedule into my backpack. Naruto mumbled something about AP classes and smart people.

After a few more minutes of awkward silence (we may be best friends, but sometimes Sasuke can be grouchy and dampen all of our moods. Actually, he's always grouchy. Sometimes he just is a little extra) the bell rang. Sasuke and I parted with Naruto at the entrance to building A and the silence continued.

"Excited about this year?" Surprise, surprise: No reply.

And so, class began. Rules, guidelines, have-your-parents-sign-this, acknowledge that you'll have 500 hours of HW a night. You know, the usual.

My barrage of conversation-starter attempts with Sasuke continued to fail. The only reason I kept trying is because we were in the back and the teacher had her back turned the entire class, writing various things on the board.

"Hey, are you gonna keep working throughout the school year?" Nope.

"How often do you get days off?" None.

"New hoodie?" Zero.

"Hey, have you gotten any offers from colleges yet?" Zilch.

"Ready for no social life and all calculus?" Na-da.

The bell rang and I scooted my supplies of my desk and into my arms, disappointed at my lack of success.

As we walked down the hall to Building C, where we both had classes, but different, I felt something pop inside my head.

"You know I'm kinda getting tired of you're, 'I'm going to pretend I have no friends and therefore you don't exist' mood," I stated. I had stopped walking.

He turned around simply to say, "Then stop talking to me while I'm in it," and continue walking.

Well I hope you don't want that time of your life back, and if you did get it back, you'd still want to read this story. You know, if you didn't remember everything you did with those minutes last time.

Whatever. Please review or at least add to watch It'll get more interesting, I promise…and hope…
