Title: Interrupting The Silence

Author: DivineMist

Disclaimer: I don't own Haven or Justin Timberlake. Mild spoilers for 1x9.

Summary: Nathan never pegged Audrey as a Justin Timberlake fan. Ironically, it seemed that the chameleon had been right.

Only when he had yawned for the seventh time, did Audrey speak up.

"I think it's someones bedtime." She accused in a motherly tone.

Nathan merely raised an eyebrow. "I'm not the only one yawning here, a moment ago your mouth opened so wide I thought you were going to stuff your face with a stash of cupcakes hidden in the desk drawer."

Audrey glared at him over a stack of paperwork.

Nathan raised his hands up in a truce, but a tight smirk still on his lips.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm going. Night." He said, grabbing his jacket and heading out the door.

She tossed a throaty 'Night' back at him.

Grinning, Nathan slipped on his coat and continued walking out of the now empty station. It was eerily quiet. Opening the front door, he turned around facing the other side.

Nathan could acutely hear music start to flow throughout the station.

Audrey had turned on the small, white radio he had acquired for her, when she had said the station was too quiet at night. A creepy kind of quiet, like the silence was deafening.

He had narrowed his eyes at her, perplexed. Pointing his gaze on her like she was slightly deranged. If it was silent, then how could it make you deaf? She could be very peculiar, and had blamed it on how Haven was messing with her head.

Nathan slowly closed the door and sauntered down the steps, thrusting a hand in his pocket to grab the keys.

Pulling his hand out, he was confused at the sight, his keys weren't there.

Nathan groaned, running an agitated hand through his hair. He actually was pretty tired and wanted to head home for some much needed sleep.

But alas, the keys were on his desk. Beside a (now cold), cup of coffee. Inside the station.

Cursing under his breath, he made his way back inside the building.

Nathan halted quickly when velvety tones crept into the hall.

Sliding against the wall, he sneaked his way bath to their office.

Peaking in the doorway, Nathan saw Audrey sitting at her desk, finishing paperwork. While singing to the radio. Her voice soft but clear.

Don't be so quick to walk away

Dance with me

I wanna rock your body

Apparently singing to Justin Timberlake on the radio.

He bit back a laugh and instead cleared his throat, striking a pose, leaning casually in the doorway.

Audrey's eyes shot up like a whip, the pen she was using flew in the air, landing with a 'thud' that was drowned out by the radio. Her mouth was wide, as if caught in an unspeakable act.

Nathan smirked a cat ate the canary smile at the look on her features.

"Sorry Parker, I don't dance."

A/N: Any thoughts?
