Naruto saw many battles in his ninja career. He'd become used to the excitement, fear and adrenaline rush before a battle. He'd prepared for this battle like any other. The opponent was a group of foreign invaders. They were led by a woman that was supposed to have some special ability. The details were vague but the ninja alliance took the threat seriously. Kakashi was put in charge of the mission and he took his two students along as his lieutenants. A challenge came from the foreign army; a one on one battle to settle this. Kakashi accepted planning to use Naruto as his combatant. The two armies lined up for battle and Naruto was ready to fight. He stepped forward when their leader stepped forward. She made several taunts about his manhood, sexual orientation and overall physical appearance.

After that the battle was all over. Unknown to most of the village and the rest of the world, Naruto and Sakura were lovers. They kept their relationship low key in public but in private they were fierce and passionate. Apparently, the woman's words rubbed Sakura the wrong way. Naruto saw a pink blur move past him.

He'd seen many kinds of ninja fights. The Hyuuga fought in a very formal style. It looked like dance. Lee and Guy fought loud battles with crushing blows. Shino fought with trickery. He'd seen battles fought with passion but this…this was a cat fight.

"No one talks about my man that way," roared the rosette as she landed the first punch.

The battle was over in reality but Sakura was just getting started. The Alliance ninja groaned and moaned as Sakura laid into her nearly helpless opponent. Curses filled the battle field before monstrous blows were landed. In the end, Sakura stood over her opponent and gave a loud retort to her comments informing her of Naruto's exceptional sexual prowess and above average build. The blonde was turning bright red as she vividly described his body and the many ways he pleased her. The sage's eyes moved left and right to notice the other ninja looking at him. The kunoichi were looking him over with a hungry look. Sakura finished by kicking some dirt at her opponent and walking back to her comrades. She adjusted her vest and hair.

"Sorry about that Kakashi-sensei," she said sweetly. "She really touched a nerve."

Kakashi just nodded and looked at his students. He didn't need to know that much about their private time. He wasn't sure if he was horrified or excited.

"Can Naruto and I return early to report the battle's outcome?" requested the rosette.

Kakashi looked at his once shy student. Her eyes had a hunger for her blonde lover that Kakashi was afraid to deny. Her fingers clawed at his vest as she stood in front of him. The battle seemed to trigger a very primal response in the green eyed kunoichi. She defended her man and it was time to claim him again.

"Sure. In fact, return as quickly as you can and report our victory."

The other ninja nodded hoping that they wouldn't be the object of Sakura's next blind rage. The rosette wrapped her arms around her lover's waist.

"Well," she said the blonde.

His face was still bright red. Naruto had made a number of loud declarations over the years but he never said anything so private. He was glad Sakura didn't reveal all their private activities. He'd never be Hokage if all the details got out. He made a hand sign and they vanished. The entire army let out a pent up breath.

"I'm not sure if I want to offer my congratulations to Naruto or my sympathy," said Kankuro.

Kakashi could only nod in agreement.
