And So…
Everything, was quiet. Despite the fact it had been an hour since the tape had been shown, people still didn't know what to say after their initial reactions. The only noise that could be heard was Miku's slippers as she sneaked in and out of the kitchen.
Greedy girl. Surely so many leeks could not be good for a person?
"We have a matter to sort out," Meiko declared, standing up suddenly with one finger pointing to the ceiling.
"Do we?" Kaito looked up, an uneasy frown on his face. That video, had been utterly distressing for him. Len was fourteen and currently getting girls. Kaito, was a man. A very manly man, who demanded love and respect from his group!
Meiko hit the blue haired 'man' over the head. "Yes! Do you not see all these young love problems? Are you blind?"
Kaito rubbed his head, looking at Gakupo, his fellow manly man for support. They were surrounded by women! Meiko hitting everyone, Luka being a sensible adult, Rin going crazy, Miku being so girlish it was almost sickly, and now Neru was at the house practically every day.
And Len was no help. No. None at all. He seemed to enjoy talking about feelings and watching Jennifer Anniston and doing those stupid flow chart quiz things in those stupid magazines named stupidly stupid names. It was all just horrible.
"No need to hit him," Gakupo muttered, patting Kaito's back comfortingly. Kaito shot an aggressive glance at Len, as if to say, 'Why did you betray us?' Len wrinkled his nose back.
"By 'young love problems', do you mean us?" Rin asked cheerfully, still sat next to Neru and Len. Neru rested her face in her hands while Len continued making faces at Kaito.
"Yes," Meiko replied. "Yes I do. You're all disgraceful, hormone ridden, lust driven teenagers, with no sense of who you belong with. And I'm here to sort that out!"
The group all stared at the eager brunette.
"Why have you been appointed?"
"Yeah! You were pretty bad on that video too, you know."
"Hey, hey, hey," Meiko protested. "I will sort out these love problems. You just watch me."
Rin, Len and Neru glanced at each other worriedly. This was not good. Meiko trying to sort out problems, generally didn't work.
One time, Meiko had promised Rin that she would help her with homework. Rin got a ridiculously low score; the teacher called the piece of work an 'abomination', and since then, refused to teach anybody with the name Rin. Ever.
And what about the time, Meiko had told Len that that bright orange drink, called something like, Copper Brew, would increase his hair growing potential? He'd ended up with thick, red eyebrows for a month, which was not only very embarrassing, but very strange looking, too!
"But, they were only drunken antics," Len said, nudging the two blonde haired girls beside him.
"Yeah," Neru and Rin agreed, nodding enthusiastically.
"I don't care!" Meiko grinned, placing her hands on her hips. "I am sorting you lot out, for your own good. Alright?" She then paused, before turning around to face Luka, who was sat on the couch. "You. Go make yourself useful. Fetch Miku, will you?"
As Luka went to go and get her, Neru gulped. This would not be pretty.
As Luka neared Miku's bedroom, she realised something very strange. She could hear noises coming from Miku's bedroom. When she entered, Miku was staring into her mirror with a big, bushy, black moustache on her face.
"''Ey, Luigi. We gotta save da princess," the newly moustached girl was reciting. Luka slowly backed away, but was caught. Miku's head whipped around.
Her eyes were narrowed.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"I only came to come and collect you!" Luka insisted, frozen with fear. When Miku came closer, she grew even more scared.
"Nobody hears about this. Ever." Miku took a piece of Luka's hair, and was just about to yank it, when Luka ripped off Miku's moustache noisily. The younger girl screamed in agony as Luka ran out of the room.
"You won't get away with this, you meddling adult!" Miku yelled, to get no response.
"Where's Miku?" The group asked when Luka re-entered the living room alone.
"Just coming," the pink haired lady smiled. They would never know about what happened.
When Miku finally graced the other's with her presence in the living room, Meiko was ready to make things happen. The older brunette lined Rin, Neru, Len and Miku against the wall.
"Okay then. Rin, kiss Neru. Miku, kiss Len., or in whatever order. Write down your feelings." Meiko instructed, to be met with uneasy looks.
"Go on then!" Gakupo cheered.
Neru gave Rin a cautious peck on the cheek, which was not satisfactory by the other blonde's standards. Miku was also timid; a slightly more dangerous kiss on the lips for Len. Seeing as Rin was annoyed at Neru's meekness, she bent down and kissed her neck, hoping for a reaction that she didn't really get. Len's kiss for Miku was brief and fleeting, saved for Rin.
Miku suddenly raised her hand. "I'm not very involved in this love triangle. I like Len, Len likes Rin, Rin likes Neru and Len. Just let Rin choose who she wants to be with."
Meiko opened her mouth to bark orders, but paused. "That's actually kind of a good idea. Jesus Miku. Brains in there!" She tapped Miku's head, grinning. All eyes turned on Rin, who seemed to be hyperventilating.
"Pressure, pushing down on me." Rin sung between gasps.
"Nah, that's Neru trying to get you to sit down," Kaito corrected her. Neru successfully pushed her maybe-girlfriend into a seated position, while Len patted Rin's head. Miku sat away with Luka in the, 'Maybe single' corner, whilst Gakupo and Kaito knew that, yes, they definitely were single. If you wish to call Gakupo or Kaito because they are single, and you are too, please call 555-234-666. Thank you.
"Why do I have to decide? You do not understand! My heart is torn. It keeps bleeding, keeps bleeding, love." Rin sighed dramatically, continuing to reference songs.
Neru rolled her eyes, before glaring at Len. "He's your maybe-brother-thing," she pointed. "That's not right."
"She's a chipmunk. And a girl," Len pointed back, tears in his eyes. Why was everybody so mean?
"Homophobe!" Kaito and Gakupo cried, flailing like fish. Len glared at them.
"Am not!"
"Are too!" This was their revenge, for him betraying the side of men.
"I am not a chipmunk," Neru said, scowling at Len. "Hey, I can pluck my eyebrows, but you can't grow your-"
"That's enough thank you," Luka interrupted, wondering why on Earth she'd been created in the first place.
"You've always got me!" Miku declared, bumping into Neru and interrupting Luka's interruption. The place was truly like a mad house. Everybody declaring love left, right and centre.
Neru took a gulp of nearby orange juice before proceeding to spit it all over the floor. "What?"
"You heard me," Miku smirked, taking hold of Neru's cheeks. "Baby."
Rin, who had been watching all these events, kicked Miku's leg violently, causing the said girl to jerk and tug on Neru's cheeks.
"Get off her." Rin demanded, watching the teal haired girl with narrowed eyes. "I like to leave my options open."
And so, it seemed that maybe green, or teal, wasn't the enemy anymore. Teal and yellow were combined in a way nobody had ever imagined - a ridiculous love square or affection. Nobody knew who'd end up with who. And nobody dared plan ahead, or wonder what Valentines day would be like. Everybody was fine with letting life run it's bumpy course.
AN: So the ending was kind of...flat. My apologies for this - I really didn't know how to end this. Probably should have planned it, ahaha...Anyway, thank you for you readers, and as always, reviews are appreciated. 3
