"Which one?" Spencer asked, holding up the nearly identical shirts.

Toby studied them for a minute. "Spencer, we're going on a double date, not to meet the president.

"I know that," she smiled, biting her lip. "I just want to look pretty."

"Spencer, you're going to look beautiful no matter what you wear." She stared at him, telling him mentally to just answer the question.
"The one on the left, then."

Spencer grinned, throwing the unchosen top down and running behind her closet door to try it on. She pulled off her tank top, leaving her in nothing but a bra and her jean shorts.
She paused before sliding the new top on, realizing she was half naked in her bedroom bedroom with the guy she loved barely 10 feet away.
Spencer dropped the new shirt, and walked around the door without it on. Toby looked up at her and his mouth fell open. "S-Spencer."

"Don't you like me?" She asked shyly.

"I... Do but-"

"Then let's do it. I love you, you love me, and I think we should take the next-"

"Spencer." Toby stopped her, putting a hand in her arm and pulling her into his lap. "Of course I want to have sex with you. You know I love you. I just think we should wait until marriage to-"

"You want to marry me?" She smiled at him.

"No!" Spencer's face fell. "I mean, yes; you know I do. But I don't want you to do something you'll regret later. Alright?" He finished quietly.
She nodded, kissing him quickly. "I understand." Her eyes widened. "But we have to leave in 5 minutes!"

Peter Hastings stood outside his daughter's bedroom door, listening to the conversation she was having with her boyfriend. And, he thought, he might just like him a little bit more.
