Hello everyone! It has been more than a few years since I've looked at Not Human Bella and I've decided to continue it as a Carlisle and Bella story. I am sorry that I haven't done anything with this for years…but I lost it for a long while and I've finally found it again. I must reiterate that if you don't like Carlisle and Bella then don't read. Also I don't own anything except the plot! Read and Review as usual. Hopefully this won't be so bad.

Introduction

My name is Isabella Marie Swan. I am currently a 17 year old vampire with several abilities. First and foremost my 'gift', as my mother Renee has called it over the years, is the ability to 'turn into a human'. There are pros and cons to this 'gift' of mine. Pros are I'm able to blend into my environment more, have a 'normal' life and I can stop aging at any time. Well, as normal as life gets for any vampire. Cons are I get thirsty faster and I have a harder time controlling my other gifts when in human form. What other 'gifts' do I have? I have to keep some secrets…for now.

I currently live in Los Angeles, California with my mother Renee and my stepfather, Phil, who is pretty cool in my book. He teaches little league baseball and had to go away a lot for work. When he is home; he helps keep my flighty mother in check so I can have more time for myself. My mother recently married Phil and I think he's good for her. He helps ground her and lets me relax instead of having to worry about her all the time. Even though I love my mother she's flighty enough to annoy any teenager. The bad part about being around newlyweds is witnessing all the wonderful feelings while feeling guilty about intruding in their new life.

Speaking about new lives. Phil bought my mother a new house in New Mexico in order to be closer to her and I. I felt a little uneasy about intruding any more on their new life so I called my father Charlie and asked if I could live with him till I'm eighteen. He was excited at the prospect of having me living with him even if it was a short time. My mother thought it was a great idea but she was a little hesitant to let me go because she felt like she was part of the decision. I smiled softly at her and told her that I wanted to be able to spend time with Charlie since I've lived with her most of my life. After a few hours of convincing her that it was fine and no it wasn't because of her (well not all of it at least) and Phil. Both she and Charlie made plans with me about what day and flight I'd be going up to Forks, Washington.

So my first introduction to the story! Let me know how it went. –LadyofLight34
