Hi everyone this is Kariann-chan here to tell you that this among other stories is purely out there for the fact that I must write. If I don't write it I will have this idea in my head forever and I will go mad! Plus I love writing and I want to get better at it so please leave comments and reviews afterwards, I'll update faster.

A small house sits at the edge of a dark forest, it's simple white walls standing out against the darkening sky. An older woman opens the back door allowing light to stream into the forest as she calls out.

"Come on children supper's ready, hurry quickly, quickly!" she bangs a wooden spoon against a pot, its steel body ringing in the dark. No children approached the house leaving the woman frustrated as she propped her small hands on her hips. Turning to look behind her she called to a figure attending to the food, stirring a soup pot every now and then.

"Kaylin, could you please get the children from the forest?" A young girl in her mid teens looks up from the pot, her stormy blue eyes fill with annoyance. Removing her smock she walked towards the door. Grabbing a flash light she entered the dark forest the last rays of light peaking through the tree tops.

"Every time, I always have to look for them." Kaylin muttered. As she continued to search a rustling was heard from behind. Quickly turning she saw nothing, shrugging she continued to go. Suddenly a blood curdling scream erupted from the right.

"Crap, that's the kids!" She began to running towards where the scream came from. Suddenly her foot got caught painfully knocking Kaylin to her face. After a moment she got back up and looked for her flashlight. Finally she found it behind a clump of roots. About to grab it she notices the lights beam catching an object and takes a closer look at it. She lets out a gasp of horror. The object is a pool of blood! Looking around she searches frantically thinking a bear got one of the kids. A warm drop of liquid hits her face. Whipping it off she examines in the light. More blood! Fearfully she looks up sending light into the tree tops. A scream erupts from her throat at the sight before her!

"Woah! Look out!" Screams a blond boy, speeding down a busy school hallway. As he continues to speed down the hall he hears the familiar sound of a certain step sister.

"Martin Mystery! What are you doing!" Suddenly his brainiac brunette of a sister is standing in the path of his skateboard. He swerves out of the way to avoid a collision…and ends up crashing into Jenni Anderson his constant love interest.

"Ugh! Martin Mystery you're the worst!" And with that she slaps him clean across the face and storms off. Martin rubs his sore face as he stands up, muttering something along the lines of "stupid step-sister". Said girl approaches him, arms crossed, chest puffed out in rage, and fire burning in her eyes.

"Now look at what you did! Your so reckless, sometimes I wonder if your ever thing about the other people around you!" she screams venting her frustration at him. The blonde boy frowned at this and yelled back.

"Yes I do! I do it all the time!" Diana smirked.

"Oh yeah? Well then prove it!" She said crossing her arms, "If your can prove by the end of today that you can care for one person rather than your self and put aside your rashness, then I'll do your homework for a week." Martin smiled at the thought. "But if your fail to do so then you have to give Java a sponge bath!" Martin's smile vanished in a flash at the thought of having to wash their caveman friend. But the opportunity to prove Diana wrong and get a week of freedom from homework was too great.

"Deal." He said. They proceded to glare when suddenly a musical beep is heard from Martin's watch.

"It's the center!" he said. Looking around he found the portals location through the U-watch. Turning the knob he realized it was locked.

"Aw man! Come on!" He gave it a hard tug but the door refused to move. Suddenly a large man came up beside him with a huge set of keys.

"Java unlock door for Martin." Said the large caveman. Unlocking it he opened the door for his friends.

"Wow, thanks Jav!" Martin said hopping into the portal. Diana followed with Java right behind her. After the initial scanning, Billy their small alien friend appeared.

"Hi'ya Martin!" he said enthusiastically.

"Billy, my man!" They proceeded to do their hand shake and then they entered the elevator. Martin opened the large purple double doors and the team entered the room. In the middle of the room was a dark haired woman who was bent over the body of an alien life form. She was looking very serious and tense as she moved with eased précis hands. Martin being his usual curious self went over and looked over her shoulder. Martin saw some gooey substance and was about to touch it when,

"Don't even think about it Martin." came from the dark haired woman known as M.O.M. He drew his hand back and grin sheepishly. After another minute M.O.M. stood up and took of the latex gloves encasing her hands.

"Sorry about that Agents. We just got a cadaver from the galactian ships of Pantul in dectcon 20. It was a new life form we'd never seen before so they took it to us for examining. Now," Billy proceeded to zoom in with a manilla file label 'X-File 407'.

"Thank you Billy." Clearing her throat she began, "In the past three months there have been 23 missing persons cases, and the missing people were children."

"But what has that got to do with us?" Martin said. Diana quickly hushed him and M.O.M. narrowed her eyes at him before continuing.

"There have also been several cases in the east coast of America as well. The cases were mysterious enough on their own so we naturally kept a close eye on it." She suddenly started tensing as she kept speaking, "And this past month the bodies of these children have suddenly started showing up all of them in the same forests. Both of which are connected by Canadian borders. The Algonquin Provicial Park and White Mountain National Forest are where the main number of victims are found. The reason why we called you here is because moments ago we got a call from someone who says that their children went missing and when she sent her niece to get them she never returned. Her husband had just left to go find them when she called. We tried to keep her on longer but we lost connection." She paused, the room had become deathly still. "Now you three don't have to accept the mission considering it is of higher rank but your all we have at the moment and the center needs your help to stop this monster." Martin shook off his stupor and a huge grin crossed his face.

"Cool I get to go on an X Mission! I always wanted to go on one!" The room's tension broke. Diana proceeded to smack him upside the head and the occupants smiled,

"You idiot this kind of mission means we have to be extremely careful!" She reprimanded, "Agents die on these kinds of missions!"

"Yeah but we won't cuz I'm so awesome!" he grinned.

"No Martin, Diana's right you must take the utmost precaution. One little slip up could mean death for all of you." Martin frowned.

"Fine, fine, I'll be careful." He groaned. With a satisfied nod M.O.M. motioned for Billy to open the portal.

"Good, you three will be headed off towards Clarksville, New Hampshire. Good luck Agents!" and with that our hero's were on their way. But what they didn't realized is this mission would slowly change their Paranormal lives as they knew it.
