She'll do whatever it takes to bring him back. Because she needs him, because her life without him has no longer a meaning. Because she loves him. She knows it was him on the phone. He didn't say a word, and she can't explain it, but she felt something happen.

She's young, and she's crossed death a million times already. There's no place for fear within her. Not anymore. She'll drink vampire blood if necessary. She'll be a vampire if there's no other solution. But she'll bring Stefan back.

They belong to each other, they are soul mates. Life without him is not worth it. She told him a few months ago that she wasn't sure what love was. Well, she realizes now that it was a lie. She knows. From the moment she laid eyes on him, she knew what love was. True love. Her decision is taken and no one will be able to make her go back on her word.

She will find him. She will fight his demons. She will stand beside him forever. They will be reunited.

What did you think of "The Birthday" ? I personnally loved it. It talked about every character, and gave us a glimpse of what season 3 will be like. Very dark. The phone-call scene was intense and sad. I thought Elena was never going to pick up her phone ! And everytime Paul Wesley pretends he's crying, I feel like I'm going to cry too. I never do, though.
