Summary: Fighting their strong opponents Devision One is being caught in problems. Or at least Hyuuga Hiashi is. How ironic that his nephew's bride-to-be rescued him. Hiashi and Tenten centric. Implied NejiTen

Fighting all of the white Zetzus was tiring.
Even for a head of a clan like Hyuga Hiashi.
He wondered how the youngest of their group - his nephew's training partner- could coe with it as she was the one who was still fighting without problems.
Sure she had gotten some minor wounds that she would later refer to as scratches but otherwise she was fine and not really breaking a sweat.

Hiashi wondered if it had to do with his age.
He was the oldest of the first Division but looking at the other, younger participants of their group this could'nt be the reason.

The Kumogakure nins were just as shuffled as himself and Chouza.

For a still moment he pondered whether this was because of Tenten's excessive way of training, or at least her teammates'.
He silently pitied the actual Hokage being stuck with both of the green ninjas but he could cope with them.

He didn't see the ambush coming.
The opponent was aiming at his blind spot and he only took notice when Tenten appeared behind him having a Kunai ready defending his back.

When the fight was over Hiashi went up to Tenten and asked her
„How did you know?"

She only smiled and answered
"I've been training with your nephew for some time now.
You didn't think that one day I would discover this spot?
And also I'm kind of used to watching his back. It was a reflex I guess."

The Clan head nodded and smiled -which was rare and left Tenten suprised-
"I'm proud that Neji picked you to be his bride."
Which left a totally flushed and surprised Tenten
And when she got back her composure she just smiled "Me too"

Some years later she would tell her kids this story about their 'nice' granduncle who served as their grandfather.
They wouldn't believe her.

Come on …. Hyuuga Hiashi smiling? That has got to be a fairytale!

A/N: Plotbunnies yuheee :D:D... I don't know how far the position in the manga is right nor, or when you read this story. I recently came across Tenten being, along with Hiashi and Chouza in Devision 1 in the manga. And while writing another chapter for another story this thought just came up.

Implied NejiTen marriage equals epic win!

Also nice Hiashi euqals epic win!

And Tenten kicking ass equals epic win all the time.

By the way: I changed the story of this passage in the manga a lot (Well I don't know I'm not hat far yet) Just let it be for the story's sake ;)
