The team was gathered around for their next mission assignment. Well everyone except one Aqualad who seemed to be missing. Which was highly unusual.

"Where's Aqualad?" Batman looks over the heads of the teens, "He knows you have a mission."

"Perhaps he's still back at home?" Miss Martian suggests, even as Superboy seems to be nonchalant about it all. She elbows him in the ribs-like that would hurt- and gave him a look.

"Either way, it's not like him to be like this." Artemis messes with her quiver, "Do you think he's made about-?"

"Psh, it's Kaldur. He's never mad long." Robin turns his head, "I'm sure he'll show up and-"

The lights dim in the mountain and everyone tenses fearing another attack. "What's going on?" Kid Flash mutters, not liking this.

Then a hologram appears of Kaldur who's looking nervously off the screen before looking at them. "My friends, I am sorry to inform you of this suddenly but- do I really have to?" His eyes kept moving off to the side to someone else but he seems to heave a sigh. "I have something to tell you."

"Think he's been kidnapped?" Artemis mutters worriedly but she wasn't sure. However' out of no where music began to play.

"I quit." He sang, " Yes you heard me, I quit."

Robin and Kid Flash exchanged looks. Batman looked a bit pissed at this point. Robin has no doubt that later he'll laugh about it but right now, any attempt of mirth was like suicide.

"I quit because you don't respect me.

And your apathy towards me effects me,

in a negative way

You always ruined my day and I deserve better pay!"

"Is he for real?" Artemis whispers, her eyes big. Apparently, Kaldur was really getting into the song. Not to mention he doesn't have a bad voice either.

"So I'm quite happy to say that-

That's when they saw the red haired archer smiling almost deviously, next to him, "With me."

Kaldur raises a brow at him but continues on.

At this point, Red Arrow had his arm around Kaldur's shoulder singing with him. Because he's always wanted to do this too.

"Fuck you!" Red Arrow sang that with gusto.

Then in an utterly serious face he says, "I quit." He breathes out and smiles nicely, " Have a nice time trying to get another whipping boy."

The projector went off.

There was nothing but utter silence in the cave.

"Dude..." Kid Flash's eyes were wide as he looks over at his friend, "Did he just swear?"

"Yo, Kid Stupid, He quit!" Artemis looks away.

"Uh..guys..?" Robin was backing away slowly from the tall man that was known as Batman, "I think we have bigger issues."

That was really because, Batman was looking at them.

Robin has the idea that this won't go so well.
