A/N: This was originally supposed to be part of my story, "Elements", but I decided to just leave it as a separate one-shot :P

"Naruto!" her fiery fists of hot-tempered vengeance, strike true to Naruto's now inflamed jaw and from his location a few feet away he exclaims, "Ow, it burns! What was that for, Sakura-chan?".

She turns away from Naruto, with an indignant look on her face, as she replies, "Well, what do you think I did that for Naruto?", and that left Naruto to ponder his options and then he replied, "Was it because I said that I thought you looked really pretty today?".

Faster than Naruto could blink, Sakura pounded him into another tree yet again and it took all of her concentrated effort to squeal with joy (and to hide her now burning cheeks) as she replied, "Wrong! It isn't what you said, it was how you said it and where you were looking when you said it!".

Naruto looked confused again, "How did I say it?", Sakura sighed impatiently and decided to give Naruto a brief lesson in what a woman wants, "Naruto, you said that I was 'smoking hot' now whilst most guys believe that girls would be flattered by that statement, most girls (including me) are actually offended by it... And also, I saw you staring at my butt not too long ago! That's also very offensive Naruto!".

Naruto scratched at his head, "Eh? But Sakura-chan... I saw something on your butt and I was about to tell you that it was there, then you turned around and I just got so lost in your eyes I couldn't help myself, dattebayo..." and yet again Sakura had to hide away from Naruto.

'Darn it! I'm not even sure if he's doing this on purpose or not, but he just gets me so heated it's annoying-' "Sakura-chan, are you alright?" inquired a very curious Naruto, who has just gotten up from his place on the ground and walked over to see a very distraught Sakura.

Nodding her head very vigorously, Sakura wordlessly implies that everything is fine. After a few moments of trying to remember how to use her vocal cords, Sakura says, "Naruto, did you mean... what you just said?", Naruto tilts his head to one side and replies, "Yeah... There was something on your butt and it's still there!".

Sakura growls out of irritation and rips the offending piece of paper off of her behind and reads the note...

You light a fire in me, that nothing can extinguish,

I'll always love you, through and through...

You give me that burning sensation, better than any of that Teme's jutsu!

A lone, boiling tear drifted down Sakura's heated face and she looks up to see Naruto's warm smile and she now realizes why he would go through fire to save her.

She realizes why he would traverse through deserts just to spend a day with her in his arms, and she now knows why he would dive into a volcano just for a chance for her to live longer.

Those boiling tears are now longer lonely, they keep getting more and more company until Naruto felt it was getting too crowded and he evaporated Sakura's inhibitions, with a hot kiss on her once-cold lips.

She pulls away from his warmth and trying to fight through her choked tears, she asks him, "Why did you wait so long?", with a warm chuckle Naruto simply winks and replies, "It was worth it, dattebayo!".

Sakura couldn't help but chuckle too, his answer was so Naruto-esque, there was no way she could pound on him for that, right?

She pounded on him anyway, after all, she's a very emotional girl! Shannaro!
