I'm back! I don't think this was my best, but it cropped up in my mind and wouldn't go away till I got it down in words. I think I'll be writing something with an actual storyline later on, so bear with me as I write up some descriptive paragraphs.
And also, I'm now a beta-reader! If you need one, contact me :)
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson or anybody else.
The swirls and the twirls, the leaps and the lunges.
They spun in circles, sword and knife locking, pushing away. Forcefully striking forward, nimbly bouncing back. They were a blur of movement, blades just slivers of bronze as they sailed back and forth in the air.
One second their skin would be a millimeter away, the next, momentum would carry them feet apart. Sweat glistened off their necks, hair swishing in front of their intense eyes.

It glinted off the sunlight as it missed her by less than an inch.
Her rival smirked as she evaded his charge. His sea-green eyes seemed to shift colors in the bedazzling shine of the sun, transfixing the throng of people as well as his nemesis. His tousled, jet-black hair swayed in front of captivating eyes, green and black.

Then they were at it again, springing at the exact same heartbeat. Swiveling and twisting, pouncing and loping. They didn't ever seem to stop, pirouetting out of reach, then sashaying back into range.
And so the spar continued on.
Fascinating. Intriguing. Mesmerizing.
Enrapturing. Exhilarating. Thrilling.
They were, in short- hypnotizing.
So, how was it? Good? Bad? I would love some feedback :)
