A/N: Happy holidays, y'all! This is another Maximum Ride one-shot...Mainly just pointless crack! I don't think I'll be updating Bloody Roses and Newborn Petals anytime soon. I don't feel inspiration, and you guys didn't decide on a gender! :(

Anyways, Anna needs two more reviews for the next update for Quarter God! And she'll also be updating Percy Jackson and the Chat Website in the next couple hours.

Do yo like Glee? I freakin' LOVE it! If you want to chat, please come on the Glee chatango or possibly just PM me so we can Gleek out. :) Thanks. Kisses, Bethie

Disclaimer: Maximum Ride does not belong to me. *le sigh*

The moment the ring is slid onto her finger, ice cold fear electrifies her senses and she suddenly feels the urge to vomit. She looks up shakily, sure that she will see the same hesitance in her newly wedded husband. Instead, she spies the lopsided smile she fell in love with, warmth and sincerity shining in his dark eyes.

He takes her hand, and all she can focus on his the faint throb of his wrist. The priest says the final words and a sob catches in her throat. There it goes. Her childhood, her innocence, her individuality. Is she making a mistake? Will everything fall apart? Is it too late?

He leans forward to kiss her, rose petal lips puckered so sweetly. She can't help but tilt her head back and feel his warm mouth move against hers. It feels so right, and the doubt is washed away.

The sound of clapping and cheering splits them up. The girl spies her mother, wavy chocolate hair and tear-filled eyes glistening in the honey sunlight as she gives a tentative wave.

A swarm of giggling, squealing girls engulfs the couple. "That was amazing! You look amazing! Oh, I can't believe you two are finally married!" shrieks the one with frizzy ebony hair patted down with moose and scarcely hidden by roses.

The one with corkscrewed blonde hair and the piercing blue eyes beams up at the bride. "I told you this would happen! I told you!" The final girl is dabbing at her brown eyes. "You look so beautiful. So mature."

The bride laughs and sweeps them up in a giant hug. "I love you guys." The brunette gives her a push. "What are you waiting for? Move it!" The groom takes her hand and together they race down the aisle. At the end, are three boys and a dog.

"I never thought this day would come," sighs the Scottie, shaking his head.

The tall boy with spiked, translucent hair snickers. "Well, I never thought I'd see the day when this girl, here wears a dress!" The bride shoves him good-naturedly while his somewhat shorter companion high-fives him.

The groom slides an arm around her waist and again they race out through the plated white gates and over the apple-green grass.

"Ready?" asks the boy, his dark hair flapping in the wind.

She takes a deep breath and nods just as the group of people appears through the blossom trees. "When have I ever not been ready?"

The duo spreads their wings, hers are downy brown and white; his are black. Fang once more takes her hand and they begin to flap, the crowd screaming their approval and fair-wells.

Max lets the sun warm her face as they graze the puffs of clouds. I am Maximum Ride, savior of the world; strongest woman alive; caretaker of the flock, she thinks to herself. Welcome to my newest adventure.
