Savior of Mankind
You are the best
Gift given to me;
Your birth and death
Are life changing.
"If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new."
(1 Corinthians 5; 7)
We celebrate this day,
December twenty-fifth,
To reenact and remember
The love Jehovah had on us,
Blessing us with Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
(John 3:16)
The one and only
Savior of mankind;
The only innocent person
Who died in a shameful manner.
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."
(John 14:6)
Gave His life
For you and me;
Was beaten and spat on
For the love
He had on us.
"So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through His own blood."
(Hebrews 13;12)
He was born
With a special purpose;
He died on a cross
As the perfect Lamb
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
(Isaiah 9; 6)
Shameless,
Blameless
Lamb of God;
Who died as if
He were not the great King.
"They crucified two robbers with Him, one on His right and one on His left."
(Mark 15: 27)
Praise the Lord Jesus
For His marvelous sacrifice;
Forever treasure
The Savior of mankind.
This poem is a summary of my thoughts, seriously.
God revealed to me that we are reenacting His love towards us when we give gifts on Christmas. You can be a non-believer and still glorify God. If you breath, you glorify the Lord. You curse God, you still glorify Him! Of course you are sinning (which isn't a good thing), but God gave you the strength to speak, to think, to do what you did. Don't curse Him as a way to glorify Him! I just wanted to inform you of how simple people of the world (and even us at times) glorify the Lord without realizing it.
I hope you all growth stronger spiritually, step closer to my God, and obviously have a merry CHRISTmas!
Deeper Than Fathomless
PS: God and I love you very much!
