Hey guys! As stated, I was finishing this fic. I just want all of you to know, that I want to thank you for sticking with me for the past two years and putting up with the infrequent updates brought on by my life happening. I love you all for being patient with me and i would like to especially thank Hitotsune-Kono, longnite, Jay aka Jordan, Honulicious and Lady Shadow92 for being such wonderful supporters of the fic, the former two especially since you reviewed literally every chapter. I'm thankful to all of you!

Special thank you to THEcoolestmastr as well. Even though I didn't need the help, the fact that you offered is heartwarming.

And now, the final chapter to Knight in Shining Armor.

Enjoy.

"Shego…" Kim's mouth hung open in shock as she realized that Shego had just proposed to her.

"Please, Kimmie?" Shego pleaded. "I love you more than anything. I swear, I want to prove that to you and the most extreme thing I could do without getting myself killed was propose to you. I'm hoping you say yes because if you don't then…" Shego took a deep breath and glanced up at Kim again. "Pumpkin, please say yes?"

Kim's face broke into a bright grin and she hugged Shego to her. "Yes!" the redhead shouted, hugging Shego tightly as the green woman hugged her back. "Yes, I'll marry you. Shego, I can't believe this!"

"Believe it, Pumpkin." Shego grinned, beaming at the redhead in relief and happiness.

"I… I have to tell someone!" Kim pulled back and raced for her Kimmunicator. Quickly dialing, she waited patiently for Ron to pick up on the other line.

"Hey, hey, hey! You're talking to the Ronster."

"Ron, you're never going to believe what just happened!" Kim shrieked into the phone.

"You got the Grande Special at Bueno Nacho?" the blonde boy shouted happily.

"No! Even better!"

"What could possibly be better than the Grande Special, KP?" Ron asked in genuine confusion.

"Try Shego asking me to marry her and me saying yes." Kim stated casually.

There was silence on the other line and Kim wondered if Ron had fainted. No if that were the case I would hear-. Just then, there was a thump from the other line and the sound of the phone sliding across the floor slightly. There it is.

Kim shook her head in amusement and dialed Monique instead. "Hey girl, what's up?"

"The best thing in the world just happened, Mo! Shego asked me to marry her!"

Monique screamed on the other line. "Tell me you said yes?"

"Of course I said yes!" Kim squealed. "How could I not?"

"Send me a pic of the ring!" Monique ordered, practically bursting with giddiness for her best friend. "I have got to see this!"

Kim complied, pulling the Kimmunicator away from her ear so that she could shoot a picture of the ring and send it to Monique's phone. Shego watched the interaction dubiously and chuckled softly, leaning against the doorway. Seeing Kim smile so brightly because of her made the green-skinned woman feel as if everything would be right again. If Kim was happy, then there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with the world, right? Shego nodded to herself. Right. And with Camille behind bars, I don't have any more ways to mess this up!

As the brunette was giving herself a pat on the back, two pairs of footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs. "What's all the screaming about?" Anne called as she ascended. "You two had better not be having a fight!"

Kim perked up as her parents moved forward and she jumped at her mother, giggling like a child as Monique did the same on the other line. Anne stared at her daughter oddly, wondering what could have caused her disposition to change so absolutely from the depression she had been in for the past few weeks.

"Mom, Dad! You won't believe this!" Kim cheered, jumping into the air and doing a backflip. As she did, the ring on her left hand glinted in the light and both Possible parents went on alert. James moved forward and took the hand in his right one, examining it. Turning to his wife, he paled.

"Anne…"

"James?" the older redhead raised an eyebrow at her husband's suddenly frightened expression.

"Anne, that's… that's an engagement ring…"

"Really?" The surgeon beamed at her daughter before turning worried eyes to her husband. "Honey are you going to be alright?"

"Our Kimmie-cub's getting married." James Possible stared at his daughter in shock for a few more seconds. "You're going to get married." Giving off a soft chuckle, the grown man passed out.

Anne stared at him in astonishment before turning to her daughter for confirmation. Kim nodded with a beaming smile and hugged Shego tightly, cuddling against her. A grin crept across the older redhead's lips and she picked up the Kimmunicator.

"Monique?" she called. "Are you still there?"

"Yes, Mrs. Possible?" Monique replied curiously.

"What are your plans for the next few months?" Everyone turned to her in confusion at that question and on the other end, Monique's eyebrows furrowed as she thought about it.

"I don't think I have a lot. School is laid back for now, so I don't think I've anything planned. Why?"

Anne eyed the two women in front of her nonchalantly as she replied, "Do you mind helping me plan their wedding?"

There was complete silence as this request registered in Monique's mind. Kim stared at the phone curiously, wondering what her friend was thinking. After all, there was no way Mo would say no to this. After a few moments of quiet, Monique's voice came back from the other end of the Kimmunicator.

"Do I get to design the dress?" she asked slowly.

"Of course." Anne chuckled. "I wouldn't trust anyone else to make my little Kimmie-cub look good."

"Then you've got yourself a planning partner, Mrs. Possible!" Kim squealed with delight and leaped for her mother. Anne opened her arms and received the hug just as exuberantly, sending Shego a brilliant smile as the brunette relaxed and watched them contentedly.

From there, the days were suddenly hectic in the Possible household. The twins were usually sent out with their friends as Monique and Anne made basic preparations for the wedding. Since Shego and Kim hadn't set a date yet, the pair were limited to simply doing color palettes, flower arrangements and dress designs.

More often than not, Shego would have to head out on a mission with Ron while Kim was bombarded with questions from her mother over which colors she liked more or which flowers she thought would be better. Kim hadn't realized how much actually went into a wedding and she retired for the day quite exhausted more often than not.

One afternoon, Shego was lounging on Kim's bed after a particularly taxing mission against Monkey Fist. Apparently, there was some statue or other that was an ancient heirloom to some family that liked monkeys and Monkey Fist wanted to add it to his collection. Either way, the buffoon had worked his strange monkey magic and taken care of the monkey ninjas while Shego herself dealt with Monkey Fist.

Now, the brunette woman was just waiting for Kim to return from Monique's. She didn't have long to wait as the front door opened roughly ten or fifteen minutes after she returned to the house. Sitting at attention, she waited eagerly for Kim to come up, but was surprised at the exhausted form of her fiance.

Kim's eyes were drooping and her shoulders slumped as she walked with slow plodding steps up the stairs leading to her bedroom. Her entire form read 'sleep' and she looked ready to collapse.

Shego stood immediately upon seeing the weary expression on her love's face. "Kimmie?" she asked slowly. "Is something wrong?"

"No, not really." the redhead sighed. "It's just… there's so much to be done and we don't even know half of what's going to happen…"

Shego wrapped her fiance in a hug and brought her close, stroking the long red locks soothingly. Kim sank against her wearily and smiled as she looked up at her lover.

Shego smiled and turned, letting go of Kim so she could turn on the stereo. Pressing play and letting the shuffle on Kim's iPod do its magic. Moving back over to Kim, Shego smiled and began to dance, moving slowly to the beat.

Can you imagine
What would happen
If we could have any dream
I'd wish this moment
Was ours to own it
And that it would never leave

Shego stroked a pale cheek lovingly and spun them around, continuing the slow dance as the pace of the song slowly began to quicken. Kim held tight to her, knowing that Shego was doing this to comfort her more than anything else.

Then I would thank that star
That made our wish come true
(Oh yeah)
Cause he knows that where you are
Is where I should be too

Kim leaned up for a quick kiss during the short beat before the chorus, smiling as she and Kigo began to waltz to the beat of the song, twirling and spinning as the chorus began.

Right here, right now (right now)
I'm lookin' at you
And my heart loves the view
Cause you mean everything
(Everything)

Shego dipped Kim, grinning at her and seeing that same smile reflected back at her. Kim laughed softly as they stood straight for the second part of the song, her weariness slowly giving way to simple happiness.

Right here (right here), I promise you somehow
(Somehow, we're gonna) Tomorrow can wait
For some other day to be (to be!)
But right now there's you and me

Spinning out of Shego's grip, Kim smiled and used the beat to walk closer. Shego held a hand out to her and bowed, pulling Kim close as the next part was coming.

Oh we know it's comin' (comin')
And it's comin' fast
There's always you and me
Oh yeah
So let's make this second last
Make it last

Twirling around each other, Kim and Shego allowed their arms to fan out, spinning as if there weren't a care in the world. Shego smirked at the carefree smile on Kim's face, knowing her plan to help the redhead relax had been a success.

Right here
Oh, right now
Yeah I'm lookin' at you
And my heart loves the view
Cause you mean everything

Shego wondered if having the wedding sooner rather than later was really a good idea for Kim. After all, the redhead was still in college and also still saving the world. Perhaps adding a wedding's stress on top of that wasn't a good idea. Her thoughts changed, however, when those beautiful olive green eyes turned to her and Kim smiled, moving closer.

Right here
I promise you somehow
That tomorrow can wait

For some other day to be (to be)

Shego allowed Kim to return them to the waltz they had been doing before the beat had gotten too fast to continue it. Now, as the song slowed down, the teen hero laid her head on the brunette's chest and gave a soft purr. Shego chuckled softly and continued twirling them around before coming to a stop as the song ended.

But right now there's you and me
You and me
You and me
Oh you and me
But right now there's you and
Me

Kim let Shego wrap her in a hug, sinking into the embrace and giving a soft sigh of contentment. Yes, they had a wedding to look forward to, but all of that stress could be handled some other time. For now, she was happy just to be with her fiance.

Shego grinned down at the redhead and clutched her that much tighter. After all they had gone through-from being archenemies to breaking up because of Camille-it was nice to know that Kim still loved her. She would probably never admit it aloud, but she wasn't keen on going through that ever again.

The pair stayed where they were as the song ended, neither bothering to move as more songs played from the speakers. Those songs didn't matter. All that mattered was that they were together and together was how they were going to approach their tomorrow and everything that came with it.
