Hi, Just watched the first episode of Sherlock, series 2. Oh my god! That is all i can say, it was amazing.

It also got my inspired, so this is just a fic from Irene Adler's point of view.

WARNINGS: Spoilers for Sherlock S2 Ep1 and excessive use of the word virgin.

Disclaimer: I do not own Sherlock, blatantly my writing is no where near the standards of Mark Gatiss or Steven Moffat.

Also by the time this is posted there are probably a million other fanfictions with the same name as this one. I don't even care.

Rated T for use of the word virgin, also Irene Adler wasn't a character yet on so I'll change characters later.

I am SHERlocked

I loved him, I really did. Not just the smart, sexy, dark and mysterious side of him but the innocent, slightly malicious virgin… yes a virgin. How odd. The Woman, Irene Adler fell for a virgin like Sherlock Holmes. The Woman, Irene Adler lost to the virgin Sherlock Holmes. The Woman, Irene Adler who naïvely believed that Sherlock Holmes, the Virgin also loved her. Perhaps he did in a way of his own, he did let his feelings get in the way, the great Sherlock Holmes should have seen my plot from miles away…but he didn't. But even though the illustrious Sherlock Holmes may have loved me, it was probably nothing- a drop in the ocean at most- to what he felt towards the ever loyal John Hamish Watson.

His "love", if you can call it that, for me started off as morbid curiosity – the sort a teenage boy gets when he first sees a naked woman. His adoration –no, infatuation- with John was much more than that (not that either of them would ever admit to it) it started when they first met and just grew from there. To be perfectly frank I think that the two of them are scared, of their feelings, of each other.

John was completely correct when he told me he wasn't gay, he's not… he's in love. Not that being in love is going to change their situation, I made sure of that.

Accidently, of course.

I have secured the notion that love is nothing more than a limitation in his thoughts, at first all he had was speculation but now he is absolutely assured of the fact that love in any shape or form is just a hindrance.

Which it is.

A wonderful hindrance nonetheless.

And even though he saved me, he infiltrated a terrorist base to save my life I know that he would travel to the end of the earth to help his precious blogger.

Thanks for reading i hope you enjoyed it. Please review, even if it's to gush about how awesome the new series of Sherlock of is, I love to read it all.
