"Of all the people to come out to – you chose Snape?" Ron asked.
"Well, I didn't mean to," Harry argued, "it just sort of came out."
"You mean, Snape knew you were gay before even I did?"
"Well when you put it that way," Harry replied.
"You mean, really? Snape?"
"Oh just shut up Ron," Harry grumbled.
"No, but seriously, Snape?"
"Like I said, it just sort of came out, okay?"
"Do I even want to hear this?"
"Well you were the person who asked 'who was the first person you came out to,'" Harry replied.
"Yeah, but I was expecting it to be Hermione or something, but Snape?"
"Ugh, like I said…"
"I just came out, I know, I know," Ron replied, "but I still think its funny."
"Hmph," Harry grumbled.
"Oh, don't be like that," Ron said, wrapping his arms around Harry's waist and pulling him closer, "you know you love me!"
"Unfortunately," Harry grumbled.
"Apparently not as much as you like Snape though…"
"Ron!" Harry yelled, aghast, whacking his boyfriend.
"Kidding!" Ron said, "C'mon, you know I'm just teasing."
"You'd better be," Harry grumbled, letting himself sink back into Ron's arms.
"Well you have to finish the story though," Ron said.
"Do I really?"
"Of course!"
"Okay, fine, I was in detention, and I finished early so I asked Snape if I could leave early and he was all snide like 'going to go visit with your girlfriend, Potter?' and I was like 'I don't even like girls,' and like I said, it just sort of slipped out."
"And what was Snape like?" Ron asked.
"Well… he let me leave early," Harry said, "he kind of has the world's greatest poker face though."
"Wow, I still think that's hilarious," Ron said.
"Okay then, now it's your turn," Harry pointed out.
"My turn for what?"
"To tell me who you first came out to, of course," Harry replied.
"Do I have to?" Ron whined.
"Well I told you," Harry said, "it's only fair."
"Okay, fine, it was Luna," Ron said.
"Luna? As in, Luna Lovegood?"
"Yeah," Ron admitted.
"Now how did that happen?"
"Well, actually it was more like she told me that I was gay."
"Now I definitely have to hear this story," Harry said.
Ron rolled his eyes and hugged his boyfriend tighter.
"Okay then, it was after quidditch practice, we were walking back to the castle, you'd walked ahead with Ginny and I was lagging behind feeling rather down and Luna walks up to me and goes 'If you fancy Harry so much why don't you just ask him out?'"
"Did she really say that?"
"Yep," Ron said.
"And what'd you do?"
"Denied it of course, insisting that in no way did I fancy you, and she just looks at me and goes 'and they call me crazy,' and wandered off to search for jigglypuffs or something."
"And then what happened?"
"I stopped to really think about it and realized that I actually did fancy you."
"And then?"
"I followed Luna's advice and asked you out."
Harry smiled.
"Yeah, I remember that," Harry said.
"I was absolutely positive that I was going to end up completely mortifying myself," Ron said.
"Aww, but it was so cute!" Harry gushed, "when you came into the great hall wearing your dress robes and holding a bouquet of flowers!"
"You sure you didn't think it was over the top?" Ron asked. Harry gave him a look.
"I thought it was perfect," Harry replied, "just like you," and he kissed him.
Did anyone catch my shameless Pokémon reference? It was pretty boss.
And yes, I know this is pure fluff. But I just spent two hours browsing Gives Me Hope and I am in a pure fluff mood right now. You don't even want to know.
