Summary: An entire world cursed to misery and only one managed to escape. Emma stands in the way of Regina's victory but she can't do it on her own, she needs help. Luckily Henry has someone in mind, there's just one tiny problem…

Additional Notes: This story is going to be largely AU from both ends of the spectrum. For those of you who don't like slash… sorry, but I'll be having one major slash pairing. There won't be any graphic details but the fluff and maybe the occasional kiss will definitely make an appearance.

Prologue:

Drifting Sleeper

Violent green, sickly yellow, bloody crimson and wicked purple all swathed in a rapidly growing cloud of black swept through the enchanted forest, swallowing everything that fell in its path and leaving nothing behind.

Lying in the epicenter of the storm he could freely admit, even as exhaustion clawed at him greedily dragging him to the deepest depths of sleep, that the sight was terrifying.

He wished with every fiber of his being that it hadn't come to this but no matter how much he craved for this to simply fall to pieces he knew, without a doubt, that she had won. And it sickened him to have to admit that, if only to himself…

Darkness crept at the edge of his vision and his ears were ringing persistently but through all of that he could still hear her victorious cackle as she lead the curse, bidding it to take the Kingdom to endless misery.

Another tug and he couldn't deny it any longer… Emerald eyes burning with an endless flood of magic slipped closed as he succumbed to the bone-deep fatigue cycling through his body.

He had lost and with him so had the rest of the world…

I know it's incredibly short… I'm not planning on making the rest of the chapters this short, this was just an introduction and already I'm sure you can tell that there are some major changes. If you're curious… good! Explanations will come soon enough so please have patience!
