You're born from an Artificial Womb, a monster, something that wasn't naturally created in this world, an unforgivable existence!" A man with masked said as he pointed gun toward the brown haired boy.

"Your father would be overjoyed if he knew what you have accomplished."

"B-But I didn't choose or ask to become one! I don't have anything to do with my dad's research!" The brown hair boy shouted, looking as if he was in pain.

"It doesn't matter, Kira-kun. Whatever you said, you can't deny the fact that you're his ultimate product, the ultimate coordinator. Your existence must be erased, so mankind's greed will be put to an end. Everyone would all wishes to be like you." The masked man pulled the trigger, as soon as the boy heard the sound of the gunshot, he found himself wake up in a teal square room.

The boy looked around the room, sweating, breathing heavily.

He dropped himself back onto the bed, but afraid to close his eyes again.

After several minutes, the boy couldn't bring himself to sleep, he looked at the clock, it says 5.14 am. He sighed, before grabbing the red uniform into his hand and changed into it. He left the room quietly to not wake up his roommate.

Kira walked around the Minerva, finding his way towards the outside deck. "Me…? An ultimate coordinator...sounds like a joke...but that dream, it felt so real, why my heart doesn't deny what he said at all…Who is that guy…he knows about my father…or is everything just a mere dream, a fragment of my imagination…" Kira rested his back on the metal rail, looking upward to the sky, before holding his hand up high and glared at it.

"Seems too real to be a dream…"

"Kira-san?" A boy with raven haired called out, before joining Kira on the metallic rail. "What are you doing out here?"

"I had a dream…seems to be about the past, but…I…" Kira trailed off, didn't finish his sentence, thinking how Shinn would react, if he heard about the 'Ultimate Coordinator' stuff.

"If you need someone to talk to, I'm all ears. I don't know how it is to lost memory, but I know how lonely it is when you got no one to talk to…"

"Thank you, Shinn. But…it's rather unpleasant memory, I would prefer to keep it to myself, at least for now, until I know if it's true or not."

"Sure."

"Say, Shinn…if you can become an Ultimate Coordinator…or rather do you want to gain more power?"

"Hmm…I would if I have a choice, I hate myself when I can't do anything, I want more power, so I can save everything I want to protect." Shinn said

"Even though it would mean you have to kill to protect what you cherish?" Kira asked.

"Yes, I lost my family during the last war in Orb…I couldn't do anything back then, so I want more power to protect everything that I want to, so I don't want to see anyone die in front of me again."

"Do you…care about being above other people? I mean like in exam, or in other areas."

"Well…to me I personally don't care about being the top or anything, I just want to do what I believe in is correct, but I know many cadets in the academy who strive to be the top of the batch or in exam, so they can boast about it." Unknowingly to Shinn, the sentence he just spoke, it would rest in Kira's mind for the whole day, eating at his heart and his mind.

"I see…"

"Uhh, did I say something wrong? You look pale suddenly…"

"It's nothing, don't worry about it, I'm just tired I guess, maybe I'll go back to get some sleep before we go into battle today."

"Hey, I know something that will help you stop thinking things! Come with me, Kira-san."

"This is…Kira?" Athrun said as he looked at the photo. "What's he doing…and that mobile suit..."

"Codename GATX-105 D. Perfect Strike, it seems the Terminal is unaware of its existence until it's been used in real combat." Lacus commented. "And it's powered by half nuclear energy."

"No one would blame him for using N-Jammer, not after that sudden nuke at Plant again." Cagali said. "But why Kira is piloting it, I don't think…Kira will be swayed by his words easily, not right after the attack on the mansion by those coordinators."

"Maybe we can meet him and asked him, where's he now?" Athrun asked.

"Now he's in Carpentaria base, it would be hard to contact him unless someone can slip the message to him but I would bet that Durandal is keeping a tight watch around him." Waldfeld said as he's looking at the Perfect Strike specs.

"The Earth Alliance is gathering forces and heading toward Carpentaria from what we've heard right, he's probably going to fight them off." Murrue said.

"What about Orb, any movements from the Orb government?" Cagali asked

"There's no movement from Orb government yet, but I'm sure they will be pulled into this war sooner or later." Lacus said.

"So are we going to stay here and doing nothing as the battle goes on?" Murrue asked.

"No matter how you looked at it, the Earth Alliances are at fault here, for starting the war. Is it the Blue Cosmos again?" Waldfeld asked, then sighing.

"There's probably something more than to just Blue Cosmos wanting to start this war. I'm sure the Chairman is aiming for something, let us wait a little bit further before we act. The chairman would also be looking out for us, probably. He would have known that annihilating us is not an easy task, that's why he took Kira away, to cut down our fight forces. That's probably part of his plan."

"I see, that would make sense, but we could have offered him our help as well, if he had asked us, he doesn't have any bad rumors floating around." Waldfeld commented.

"That's probably because ultimately he knew that we would object to whatever he is planning, that's why he had to act early." Lacus explained.

"Well, for now, let's not make anything that would make the Scandinavia Kingdom in trouble, they were kind enough to let us take refuge inside their territory." Murrue said.

"I don't think this will help me at all, Shinn." Kira said as he readied his gun.

"You only need to do something so you don't over thinking about it, Kira-san."

Kira sighed, he hoped it would be like what Shinn said, he started the simulator and the practice target started up.

As soon as it start moving, Kira began firing his gun, shooting right in the critical point. Shinn smiled as he watched in awe, he had always wanted to see it again.

Several wave passed as Kira kept firing his gun, Shinn just kept on looking and smiled, he could step but feeling admire Kira's skill.

"Shinn?"

"Oh, Luna, what are you doing here so early?"

"Well, I couldn't get a full sleep knowing the EA forces are waiting to attack us." Luna shifted her gaze to the figure firing the gun. "Isn't that Kira-san?"

"Yeah, awesome isn't he, that speed and precision, I wonder why we have never heard of him before."

"Meylin said his all of his personal information is confidential, and she couldn't access it. He's such a mysterious isn't he?"

"Yeah, he is." Shinn and Luna watched as Kira continued with his shooting.

"So Doctor, after hearing about his result in battle, what do you think?"

"I would say he has retained all of his experiences, sir. Only the identity part of his memories are wiped clean, meaning he wouldn't have any problem going on with his daily lives, I'm sure when he touches stuff like mobile suits OS, or anything that he did prior to drug injection, he will still be able to do it completely fine."

"I see, that's good to hear. I hope he can start a new life, a life where his nightmare wouldn't have haunted him." Durandal smiled. "Actually Doctor, I would like you to research and create something for me, another test drug for him."

"You're going to use another drug on him, sir? We don't know if his body can accept many injection or strain."

"His body is specially modified to be able to resist it, please keep this between us, I'm sure you have heard of the project, or at least this name, 'Ulen Hibiki'. Kira Hibiki is his real son, and as well as the success product of Professor Hibiki experiment."

"That research? The Ultimate coordinator? You're saying that project was a success? Even though I heard both Professor Hibiki were killed by the Blue Cosmos, it's a miracle his son survive."

"Yes, and that's why, there might be someone who would try to use or take advantage of what he is, this knowledge is not only known to us, but to many as well. I heard Blue Cosmos were looking for him, to use him as a lab rat, to test drug on him."

"That would be dangerous, if they could brainwashed him things could have been bad for us."

"They already did once, Doctor. That's why I had his memories erased, he is a kind boy, but his kindness is too vast, that's why he might ended getting manipulated again."

"So what kind of drugs do you want me to develop, sir?"

"A mental suppressant of sort, one that wouldn't let him trust someone he doesn't know."

"Is that a wise idea, sir?"

"Let's just say, it's a safeguard measure, better safe than sorry, even though I know it could been too harsh on himself, but we need it."

"Well, I'll see what I can do about that, sir."

"Thank you, Doctor. I'm counting on you."

"I'm sorry, you two had to wait me for quite a bit." Kira apologized, scratching his head. "Let's go grab some breakfast."

"Did you feel any better?" Shinn asked.

"Yeah, kind of…I guess getting distracted helps, thanks Shinn."

"Say, Kira-san, do you mind if I ask you something?" Luna asked, her voice in high spirit.

"Sure, go ahead, but please stop calling me Kira-san both of you, it makes me feels old. I'm just a year or two older than you."

"Soooo, considering your look, I bet it's not hard for you for the young ladies to admire you, do you have a girlfriend yet? Someone like you must have a high caliber girlfriend."

"Umm….well…"

"Luna, what the heck are you asking him! It's his private life!"

"He has the choice to answer or not answer as well! Not like I'm forcing him to answer me."

"I personally don't mind but since I don't have my memories so I don't really know…"

Lunamaria frowned as she heard the reply. "That's right I forgot you had an amnesia, I'm sorry for asking about it."

"Well, someone told me I have a girlfriend but I don't know whether it's true or not, but I think it leans toward true."

"So you do have someone, as expected, so who is it!?"

"Let's talk while we eat, I'm hungry." Kira said as they entered the cafeteria.

They queued up in line to get their breakfast, after they settled down for a seat, Lunamaria didn't waste her time to pursue the topic.

"Don't be surprised after you hear her name." Both Shinn and Lunamaria made a gulped sound, waiting to hear what Kira has to say.

"It's Lacus, Lacus Clyne."

"La-La-La-Lacus Clyne!? That Lacus-sama!?" Luna yelled out, catching many attentions of the Minerva's crew.

"Shh, Luna, why are you shouting!" Shinn said as he scolded his friend.

"I-I'm sorry! But that wasn't what I expected. I never heard that Lacus-sama broke up with Athrun Zala so I was a bit surprised...hmm, I see, that would make sense…"

"I could be wrong though, I'm sure someone as plain as me wouldn't have her as my girlfriend."

"No, it sounds plausible."

"Huh, how is it plausible?" Shinn asked.

"Shinn, you're so slow. Athrun had been with Lady Cagali for all we have seen right? Don't you think it's weird why would he takes the bodyguard job. There's no reason for him to be there at all, if he's still engaged with Lacus-sama, meaning something happened but it weren't known to the public."

"…" Shinn didn't say anything, every time he heard Cagali's name, he couldn't stop feeling angry."

"So you haven't met her yet? With Lacus-sama."

"I did meet her, but I was finding a hard time to believe it."

"Lacus-sama isn't someone who would tell lies, so if she said so, then you two must be going out." Luna sighed before mumbling to herself. "The gap is big like Plant to Earth…"

"By the way, you said Lady 'Cagali' earlier right? Who is she?"

"The Orb representative, Cagali Yula Athha." Shinn answered to Kira question, albeit with uncomfortable tone, still blaming the Athha for his family's death.

"and Athrun Zala?"

"The son of the late chairman, Patrick Zala." Lunamaria replied.

Kira kept the information in his mind, adding these to the topic he will ask Durandal when they meet later.

"Condition Yellow, all officers are to go to your station in 1 hours, I repeat Condition Yellow, all officers are to go to your station in 1 hours. The Earth Alliances have mobilized and will reach Carpentaria in 2 hours." Meylin announced to the Minerva's crew.

"Seems like our rest time is up, let's get ready." Everyone nodded at Kira's suggestion and quickly ate their breakfast.

All soldiers and officers abroad Minerva and stationed in Carpentaria based quickly moved into their position swiftly, readying for the approaching Earth Alliances Fleet.

"Sir Hibiki, we have swap your damaged leg with Impulse's leg, it might have a lower specification but I believe you can adjust it in OS, so please make sure to adjust everything." The mechanic on Minerva ship informed Kira of his mobile suit's status.

"Ok, thank you very much. I totally forgot about it last night." Kira apologized, he should have been with them when they were changing part.

"It's ok, sir. I heard it was a long day for you yesterday, it's an honor to be able to do maintenance for your mobile suit." The mechanic saluted.

"Likewise, please take care of me from now on." Kira smiled and saluted before he took the elevator to enter the cockpit.

"So how's the situation Captain Gladys?" Kira asked on the intercom.

"20 mins before they arrived, we're launching soon as well. We will position at the center of the fleet."

"Ok, I'll launch out first then, please open the catapult."

"What about your energy level?"

"I will be fine, this mobile suits run on a new trial test energy capacitor."

"If you say so, be careful out there."

"Thank you, sir."

The crane slowly put Strike into position for launching, unlike the original strike, this new one never detach its equipment and always in Perfect form. "GAT-X 105 D-Perfect Strike, clear for launch."

"Kira Yamato, Strike, Launching." The catapult plunged Strike forward, launching it outside of the Minerva.

"It seems everything went fine on that end. Now after the new drug is under development, we will have one less problem to worry about."

"Are you sure you don't want to put a leash on him?"

"It would be a pity for a boy his caliber to be just a mindless puppet under anyone's control, this way it carries the risk but at the same time, he would be able to influence others, motivating them on the battlefield. I'm sure he will make a fine team leader on Minerva."

"I hope that this won't backfire later."

"Let's use her to keep him leashed then, I'm sure he will be protective of her after what will happen after today."

"I'll keep an eye on him while he's on Minerva then, now I need to launch out for combat as well."

"Good luck, Rey."

"Be careful on your end too, Gil."

"They're here, Lunamaria, stay on on Minerva for support fire, Shinn, you follow Kira's lead."

"Yes, sir!" Shinn and Luna respond.

"Where's Rey?"

"I heard the chairman called him, he's probably coming back right as the battle starts." Luna said.

"I see, let's go first then. Shinn Asuka, Core Splendor launching!" Impulse launched and combined itself into Force pack.

"Lunamaria Hawke, Zaku, going!"

The Earth Alliance fired their missile towards the base, Zaft began intercepting as soon as the missile is within their weaponry range.

The Windams launched from the fleet, among them were there 3 stolen Zaft mobile suits, Chaos, Abyss and Gaia.

Gaia stationed on the battleship, as its lacking flying abilities, while Chaos soared onto the sky, causing chaos and confusion in the air space as the name it suggests with the twin pod Dragoon, and Abyss went to take down Zaft fleet from below the surface of water, clashing with Zaft underwater mobile suits.

The battle looked somewhat to be a stalemate, until they launched out a green colored mobile suits and a mobile armor.

"Shinn, go and distract Abyss, support the underwater forces. I'll take care of those new mobile suits."

"Okay!" Shinn flew away from Kira, firing his beam rifle at Abyss, distracting him.

"This feel so nostalgia, maybe just like the chairman said, I really did pilot a mobile suits before…but what is this feeling…every time I shoot down a mobile suit, it felt like a pain eating away at my heart…" Kira thought to himself before entering combat range with the green colored mobile suit.

On the radar, the units matched with the database, it shown as Forbidden, while the mobile armor is shown as unknown.

Kira fired his beam rifle at Forbidden, but the beam curved off from the mobile suits. "The beam curved? Then how about this."

Strike put away the beam rifle and grabbed the positron launcher from its back, firing at the Forbidden Gundam, the positron shot curved away as well.

"Tch, such troublesome mobile suits." Strike put away the launcher back onto its waist before taking out the Sword from its back, charging toward the Forbidden to engage in close combat.

The battle continued as both forces, suffering casualties, the green mobile armor still hovering above the water surface, waiting for the opportunity to wipe the Zaft fleets.

"Captain, how's the situation?" Rey asked, his Zaku firing beam rifle from the base towards the Windams.

"We're pushing them back, at this rate, the battle should end soon." Talia said.

"Understood, then I'll join up with another units and support them."

"Fine, be careful out there."

"Captain, an unknown is approaching the right flank." Malik said as he put the picture on the bridge monitor.

"A mobile armor?" Arthur said as he looked on the monitor.

The Mobile armor code name is YMAF-X6BD Zamza-Zah, it position itself in front of the Zaft fleet and fired its positron laser toward the ship, in an instant, four ships were destroyed, along with a few mobile suits that were caught in the line of fire.

"That mobile armor is bad news, we need to stop it quickly!" Talia ordered.

"Triston, Isolde, aim…and fire!" Arthur shouted as Minerva fired off the cannons toward the Zamza-Zah.

The mobile armor turned around, facing the Minerva, and activated its beam barrier

The cannon and beam were deflected off on the barrier surface, completely resisting it.

"It deflected all!?" Arthur yelled in surprised.

"The Earth alliance finally rolled out something troublesome isn't it. Contact Shinn and Kira, ask them to take down the mobile armor as fast as possible." Talia ordered.

"Yes, Ma'am." Meylin relayed the message over the intercom, as well as reporting about the mobile suit capabilities of destroying a huge chunk of Zaft forces in one shot.

Strike tried to flew towards the Zamza-zah as fast as possible but Strike's path was blocked by Forbidden, as if knowing where Strike is heading. "You're such a nuisance!" Kira shouted as he clashed his sword with the Forbidden's new beam sickle.

"I'll go, Kira-san!" Shinn said to Kira, as he flew away from Abyss, towards the Zamza-zah. "Minerva, please prepare to fire me a deuterion beam."

"You think I'll let you go that easily!?" Auel shouted, firing his full armaments at Impulse.

The Impulse dodged it before returning fire with the beam rifle, unable to pluck away from Abyss.

"Shinn, go, I'll hold both Abyss and Forbidden here!" Kira said as threw the beam boomerang at Forbidden and quickly grabbed the positron launcher before firing it at Abyss.

"Ok!" Impulse quickly flew away from the scene and readied into its position to receive the energy transfer, as soon as the energy transfer finished, Impulse fly towards Zamza-Zah, firing the beam rifle at the mobile armor.

Zamza-Zah deflect the beam off, before firing the positron beam back at Shinn from its arm.

"If beam doesn't work, then how about this!" Impulse took out its beam saber and charged towards the mobile armor.

Impulse aimed its sword at the mobile armor's arm, the mobile armor dodge by shifting itself slightly, and readied its claw before trying to grab Impulse's leg.

Impulse dodge by thrusting back its booster, flipping in the process and charged back at the mobile armor, destroying mobile armor's arm in the process.

But the mobile armor didn't let go of its opportunity to grab Impulse, Zamza-Zah grabbed the Impulse by its body, trying to squash Impulse's body through its phase shift armor.

"Shinn!" Kira shouted as he saw the situation!

"Damn it, release me!" Impulse tried to cut the mobile armor's arm with the beam saber, but Zamza-Zah shook Impulse hard enough to make Impulse unable to aim at its arm.

"Captain, our forces are being pushed back!" Meylin reported.

"Tell them to reform the formation, quickly!" Talia said.

Kira heard the situation, as he looked around while fending off Forbidden and Abyss, he saw the injured Zaft soldiers and forces being destroy as they trying to run away.

"Why…why do we need to kill each other, how can you kill anyone without remorse! I…I won't allow anyone to die a meaningless death!" Kira entered his Seed mode, he released his dragoon but this time detaching them from the wires.

Dragoon systems were supposed to be wireless, but since Kira didn't remember how exactly he pilot a mobile suit, only his muscle memory remember, he was told to put the pods on wire for auto targeting program.

But with his Seed mode, controlling them with his sharpened mind and focus is not beyond his abilities.

The Dragoons fired at Forbidden, forcing the mobile suit to put up its shield, Kira didn't waste this chance to took the Beam Sword to stab into the gap between the Forbidden's shield, killing the pilot in one strike.

Strike fired the missile from its shoulder toward Abyss and fired it down, creating a smokescreen from the explosion, Strike made a quick turn, flying towards Impulse.

"Shinn!" Strike threw its beam boomerang, cutting the crab alike arm that was holding Impulse.

"Kira-san! Sorry, thanks for helping me out."

"Don't let your guard down, can you still move?"

"Yes, there's no problem at all."

"Okay, Shinn. I want you to go and help and protect the injured soldiers."

"But what about those Windams and that mobile armor."

"I'll take care of it, just leave them to me."

"But!" As Shinn was protesting, he saw the wounded dragging their feet while trying to leave the combat zones, blood and corpse lies on the floor all over the place. "Ok, you better come back safely!"

"I will."

Impulse and Strike flew into the opposite directions, both aiming for different objectives.

"Now, let's begin." Kira exhaled a deep breath as he slowly focus, before he released his Dragoon while detaching his missile pod on the shoulders and dropping the Positron launcher to increase his mobility.

Strike charged at Zamza-zah, the Dragoons fired from all direction, cornering Zamza-zah away before Strike stabbed the cockpit with striker pack, destroying it in several seconds.

After destroying Zamza-Zah, Kira went on to obliterate the rest of the Windams that were fighting with the Carpentaria Defense Forces.

He didn't have any mercy left in him, all shots were accurately fired at the cockpit, he felt that he couldn't forgive the Earth Alliances for killing wounded and those who are retreating, even if this is a war, it was too much for him to swallow it down.

"Amazing." Arthur said as he looked at Kira making short work of the mobile armor.

Chaos, Abyss and Gaia formed up around Strike, trying to corner Strike.

But before they could realize, the trio, each lose a part of their machines.

"H-How dare you!"

"Stella, that's enough for today. We're retreating." A male voiced spoke to the Gaia's pilot.

"But Neo!"

"Today we have already accomplished what we want, we're in no shape to fight that white demon yet. We will get him next time."

"Ok…Stella understands."

The Earth Alliances ship fire the retreats Flare, before their forces slowly withdrawing.

"You think I'd let you escape!?" Kira said as he pursue the retreating EA forces, before Talia stopped him.

"Kira, let them be, our priority now is to tend to the wound." Talia said. "With that said, I can't order you to fall back as you're Faith, but I trust you know which one is important right now?"

"I understand…" Kira stopped his pursuit before turning around back to the Carpentaria bases.

The Front area of Carpentaria Base was a mess from the fighting, many facilities and defensive station were destroyed; wounded soldiers stuck in the wreckage, parts of mobile suits were scattered everywhere.

Kira told himself, he would never let something like this happen again, the sensation right after he felt something inside him explode today, was another nostalgia feeling, it wasn't the first time that he felt this sensation.

But what matters to him is that, he knew from today, within him, there lies a power, and that power allowed him to reach further height in combats, and he will use that to protect his newfound friends, to protect Zaft, to help Durandal who helped him.
