"Talking"

'Thinking'

(Scene Break)

At the Past Time Bookstore…

Sarah watched Kent walk out of her bookstore in a hurry. She did not like him what so ever and if she just happened to curse him with a bad luck curse, well that was no one else's business. But she finally met this Kent guy that her poor dear adopted granddaughter told her about.

Abby was right on the spot with Kent. He was a killer, alright, but Sarah knew without a doubt that he will meet his end very soon, thanks to her curse. She can tell he is a killer as it was not very hard for her to spot a killer no matter how hard they tried to hide it. After all, she was a Master assassin during World War 2. So she can easily read people's body language that is how she survived the war and especially being right in the middle of Nazi turf with hardly any way out of it.

She can tell if a person kills for pleasure or were forced to, with no other option. And she can be positively sure that Kent is killing for pleasure, quite unlike her little Abby, who was forced to kill in order to survive her own war back in Britain. So she may have let some of her killing intent leak out. If this Kent tries to kill her granddaughter, before her little curse could take him out of the picture, she will have to make him disappear completely. After all, she has experience under her belt in this sort of thing.

Sarah was pulled out of her thoughts when two people entered her bookstore. She recognized the man and the woman from Abby's description.

Patrick Jane seemed to be a very cheerful fellow despite all that has happened to her, but Sarah could still see the shadows that are in his eyes. She knew what had happened to his previous family as it had been all over the news when it happened. But she could see that he would be an excellent match for her Abby.

Agent Teresa Lisbon was a woman who knows the dark side of the world very well. Luckily, she is not as affected by it as Mr. Jane was.

"Excuse me," Agent Lisbon said, before getting straight to the reason that they were there. "We are looking for Abby Potter. Is she in today?"

Sarah smiled as she answered, "No, she is not in today or tomorrow, I'm afraid."

Agent Lisbon frowned, concerned about Abby, now that Red John is solely focused on her.

Patrick just smiled even though he is a bit worried for Abby. He did not want anything to happen to her. He is slowly coming out of his denial about his growing feelings for her.

"You're the owner of this lovely bookstore," Patrick stated as he continued to on her.

"Yes, I am. Call me Sarah," Sarah replied as she introduced her self.

"Patrick Jane, but call me Patrick," Patrick introduced himself as he held out his hand, which Sarah took and Patrick bent down and kissed her knuckles.

"What a gentleman. A rare thing now a days, I'm afraid." Sarah sighed as she remembered the years where men were gentlemen instead of hoodlums that they are now today.

"Do you know where Abby may be now?" Agent Lisbon asked politely. She wanted to make sure that Abby was safe. If Red John succeeded in killing Abby, who knows what Patrick would do.

"Of course," Sarah answered cheerfully. "She is at home with her boys. They always take two or three days off every month, to spend time together as a family. She is perfectly safe right now."

"Thank you for your time, Sarah," Agent Lisbon said on her way out of the store. "Have a nice day."

"You too," Sarah responded.

"Oh, Patrick," Sarah called out as Patrick was already half way out of the door.

"Yes, Sarah?" Patrick asked as he turned around to face the old woman, who called out to him. There was a glint in her eyes that caused a cold feeling to travel down his back.

Sarah gave him a warm smile and told him, "You better treat my Abby like a queen and I want great grandbabies to spoil soon. You better get at it, since I can't wait around forever."

Literally, Patrick's jaw dropped to the ground in shock at her very bold demand and he had to be physically dragged to their vehicle by a laughing Agent Lisbon.

The last thing that Patrick heard coming from that bookstore was the old woman's insane cackling.

At the CBI Building…

Wayne looked at Jane relaxing or at least trying to relax, with a book in his hand, but he, Grace, ad Cho all know Jane well enough (that was a scary thought in itself), to know that he was sulking over something. What he is sulking about, they don't know. But they could guess this could have happened because he just found out about the magical world and all of them already knew about the magical world for a long time and never told him or dropped hints that they knew something or it could have been when he and their boss came back from the bookstore. Jane's face was very pink and Boss was in a very good mood for once after coming back from an outing with Jane, where he usually does something to get her mad at him, but instead she was chuckling at something that may have happened. This is very unusual.

All three of them shared a look and Grace finally got the courage to ask, "Boss, did something happen to cause Jane to sulk like that?"

Lisbon answered with a huge smile on her face, "Oh nothing much, other than Abby's boss, Sarah, telling Jane to get at making babies with Abby for her to spoil as she doesn't have forever to wait."

All three of them in the office were silent. They saw a twitch on Jane's face make itself known, when he heard Lisbon telling the others what had happened. It was not fair, usually he gets the last word in, but this time, he was beaten.

When they were all snickering at what they heard, Cho then made a statement that cause them to quiet down, "Just what the world needs, more Patrick Janes running around."

Wayne muttered under his breath as he returned to his desk, to continue on with his work that is piling on it, "The world's doom."

Lisbon paled at the mental image of at least ten Patrick Janes in her office, causing her, nothing but trouble and giving her white hair before a year is up. That was a nightmare that could possibly turn into reality. That was something; she did not need as she barely can control one Patrick Jane as it is.

Spinning around to face Patrick, Lisbon all but ordered, "Patrick Jane, for the very sake of what's left of my sanity, you are not allowed to have any more children. This planet can only survive with one of you."

"Really, now?" Patrick questioned as he sat up straight. The look on his face, told them that he was planning on doing to something that would definitely come back and bite them in the ass.

No one really like the way his eyes were sparkling, as it always seemed to lead them into a mess that Jane created for fun. Little did they know that Lisbon's order will cause Jane to stop denying his attraction completely to Abby Potter and this will cause Lisbon to have sleepless nights due to the nightmare of more than one Patrick Jane running around and causing trouble for fun.

Outside of an apartment building…

Kent as known as Red John was unknowingly caught on a very well hidden video camera, trying to break into Abby's apartment through the window that can access a fire escape. He failed to get the window open, of course, when he came face to face with a werewolf (not that he knew it was a werewolf) and the only thing that stood in the way was a pane of glass. Kent did not expect this, what so ever, so in shock Kent backed up so much quickly, that he could not stop himself from falling out of the fire escape and since he was on the top floor of the apartment building, Kent did not survive the trip downward.

He was discovered in the next more morning, when someone came out to put the garbage in the dumpster.

Epilogue

Two years later…

A lot of things changed over the last two years, the Malfoys, the Lovegoods, the Weasley twins, Charlie, and Bill and his wife, Fleur, moved to America, near where Abby lived. Just in time too, as the British magical community was basically wiped out, due to James Jr. thinking that he was invincible and tried to get more fame by killing a powerful warlord in Africa, who was so pissed off that he just wiped out Britain's magical community without any warning.

Right now, everyone was at Abby's and Patrick's wedding party, it was two years ago, when Patrick asked Abby out after get permission from the pack, which involved a lot of threatening, whether with injuries or with death itself. But in the end, the pack accepted it as they saw how happy Abby was, when she was with Jane.

After finding Kent's dead body, the CBI went to Kent's house to see if there was any evidence to why he was after Abby, when they discovered a huge amount of evidence of him being Red John. Kent wrote down in great detail, all of his crimes and who was working for him, which led to quite a few people working in the CBI were arrested. It took a great weight off of Patrick's shoulders to close this.

Abby leaned over and whispered something in Patrick's ear.

"Are you sure?" Patrick asked as he felt shock traveling throughout his whole entire body.

"Yes." Was all the answered that he needed, before a smirk made itself known on his face. He was going to have fun with this.

"Please, can I have your attention, everyone?" Patrick called out as he stood up and looked around at everyone, but made sure to keep an eye on his team, for their reaction is what he wanted to witness. "I have an announcement, my lovely new wife, Abby Jane, just informed me that she is six weeks pregnant with our child."

Before anyone could say anything, Agent Lisbon stood and announced, "I also like to make an announcement as well I am retiring and moving away. I can only deal with one Patrick Jane; any more will cause me to go insane."

"Count us in as well, Boss." Wayne said as he stood up as well. Behind him, both Cho and Grace nodded their agreement with Lisbon's decision.

Everyone laughed.

This was the beginning of a wonderful story, for two people that most deserve it.

In the many years to come, Abby and Patrick will have five children, two sets of twins, and one single child. And to the many people's relief, none of them showed interest in join the Police Force, but when the sixth child decided to follow in his father's foot steps, many people cried with despair.
