Hello everyone! We're finally here, the last chapter :( see you guys at the bottom... but maybe not for the last time..

"Wow, your place is huge!" Cream exclaimed as she walked into the apartment.

Amy chuckled. "Well it looks huge because it was just me and Sally. Now that you're here too, we might have to dump out Sally's 140 pair of shoes." She gasped as the sakura hedgehog crossed her fingers.

"Over my dead body Pinky." It's been two years since they finished high school and Cream was starting her first year of university with the others. She was staying with Amy and Sally in their apartment while Mina and Blaze lived three floors below and Fiona and Rouge had their own place down the hall from them. They all lived in the same building across the street from U of M along with the guys residing above them.

"Where do I put these?" Shadow asked as he walked into the room carrying a ton of suitcases. Cream looked around and pointed to a corner next to the kitchen.

"Place them there please." He did as he was told as Knuckles came in wheezing, carrying only a single suitcase.

"What do you have in there? Rocks?!" She giggled and looked at the label.

"You're carrying my seashell collection." He rolled his eyes and placed it in her room. She would've stayed with Mina and Blaze, but Sally and Amy were the only ones with a three bedroom place.

"Cream!" Mina ran in and jumped onto the petite rabbit. "I've missed you." She giggled and hugged her best friend. The past two years have been hard for her, finishing high school without them. She spoke to them everyday but it wasn't the same and she'd only see them during the summer and their other breaks. She hasn't made any friends either so it was more difficult, especially since she and Tails broke up two weeks before graduation and she didn't have her friends with her to help her through it. They came a few weeks later but it wasn't the same and it was really hard for her to hang out with them and Tails like she used to.

"I've missed you too Minnie." She noticed that everyone grew these past two years. Mina let her hair grow out, her slim body was now curvier since she gained more weight and consistently went to the gym to burn off the calories. Cream noticed that she aged more mentally as well, letting go of her childish ways. Amy cut her quills, letting them rest on her shoulders and Sally grew her hair out, letting it land on her mid back. Her friends were as beautiful as ever and definitely didn't catch the freshman fifteen. Looking down at herself, she wondered if she would start changing when she started university as well.

"How are you feeling? I know that it'll be hard to see him everyday but just know that we're here for you." The mongoose sighed. It was 9 am. Everyone, except Cream, landed yesterday so they could start prepping the place for her arrival. She had just gotten in town an hour ago and she was already loving her new life. Not that she didn't love her mother, because she missed her dearly, but she was glad to get away from the over protectiveness. Cream gave a tiny smile then she was suddenly lifted into the air from behind.

"You didn't come to say hi to me?" She chuckled as she placed down, then turned to hug him.

"You know I love you Sonic." He sighed.

"Are you going to say hi to Tails?" She shook her head. "He really does miss you." She and Tails have been avoiding each other the entire summer. The gang have been splitting up their time, spending time with each of them individually. Although there was that one time where both and Tails hung out with their friends at the same time when they went to a party last week. She noticed him giving her a longing look from across the room, the kind in cheesy romance films, then did a complete 180 and deliberately made out with one of the partygoers right in front of her. It took every fiber of her being to not go and rip the head off of the living Barbie doll. She sighed, remembering that moment.

"I'm not ready to talk to him yet. I know it's been almost three months but after all, he's the one who broke up with me without giving me a reason."

"Don't worry, he didn't break up with you for another girl. He said it had something to do with him concentrating on himself or something." She nodded, looking down at her buzzing phone.

"Well, I hope he concentrates long and hard." She walked out of the apartment and down the hall to the elevator. Sally exhaled.

"Tails messed her up."Amy nodded and turned to Sonic.

"You need to talk to him."

"Why me?"

"You two practically grew up together and you're closer to him than anyone else." Sally said.

"Why can't Silver?"

"They may be roommates Faker, but you know as well as us that Silver isn't good at giving advice." Shadow replied. Silver and Tails lived together, Sonic and Scourge lived right above them and Shadow and Knuckles lived across the hall from the counterparts. "You remember that time in junior year when he told our chemistry teacher that he should sleep with his girlfriend's sister to draw her attention back?"

Amy laughed. "That was funny."

"I don't think screwing with a guy's life is very funny." Knuckles said.

"Yeah, but we hated him so good for him." Sonic chuckled at Mina's response.

"I've spoken to him about this countless times. He asked me not to bring it up anymore. My hands are tied."

"Where did Cream go?" Mina asked.

"Fiona texted her and told her to meet her and Rouge at campus so they could show her around." Sally replied.

"In the meantime, we're going to interrogate Tails." Amy smirked.

"So, how do you like campus?" Fiona asked as she, Cream and Rouge stopped at a sushi restaurant for lunch after completing their private tour. The kitsune hasn't changed much in the past two years, other than letting her auburn hair reach just above her waist. Her and Scourge's relationship was still going strong. They had their fights occasionally but they always managed to pull through them.

"Yeah, this place is amazing. It's kind of depressing that I have to learn here."

Rouge chuckled. "Don't worry Hun, we'll hit the beaches soon." The ivory bat was still a beauty. Knuckles got into a couple fights because of this since starting school here, but she didn't seem to mind. It wasn't much different than high school.

"So have you spoken to him yet?" She sighed at Fiona's question.

"Nope and I don't plan to. When we're all hanging out together, I can handle seeing him, but I'm not ready to tackle him alone."

"He pulled a douchebag move at that party." She turned to Rouge in shock.

"How did-"

"Honey, they were so out in the open that even a blind man could see it."

Fiona chuckled. "I don't know what's gotten into him though. He's such a sweet guy. He was actually my favorite out of the guys." She paused for a moment. "Don't mention that to Sonic." They giggled.

"Where are Scourge and Silver? I didn't see them this morning."

"I think Amy sent them to the department store to buy some stuff for the apartment." Rouge replied. Fiona's phone began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Fi, you've gotta help me."

"What's up?"

"What the hell is the difference between beige and peach?" She chuckled and shook her head. "This isn't funny. Silver and I have been wandering around this store all morning. Well at least I was being productive, he still hasn't emerged from the toys aisle. All of the items have beige written on them and I feel like taking that but I don't want to unleash the Piko from its sleep."

"Score, are you serious?"

"Yes I am Fiona Fox." She playfully rolled her eyes. "Honestly it's like differentiating between navy blue and black or pure white and eggshell white. It's completely unnecessary. Girls are so annoying."

"Hey."

"No offense."

"I'm offended. Which one does Amy want?"

"Peach."

"Beige is a pale sandy color and peach is the same color as the skin of the fruit but paler as well. The workers should be able to help you out."

"Oh, I forgot that they're supposed to do that." She smiled. "You're a lifesaver babe."

"You can thank me later." She could already tell that a smirk was plastered on his face.

"You best believe I will." She blushed. Even after all this time, he was still able to have that affect on her.

"Love you babe."

"Love you too Fi." She hung up and looked up to see Cream and Rouge grinning at her. She rolled her eyes.

"Guys, it's been two years and you still give me the same look as you used to when we first started dating."

"We can't help it. You guys are so cute."

"I'm grateful that you knocked out two of Melissa's teeth. She was trying to deprive us of this adorable relationship of yours." Fiona growled at the name. Melissa was Fiona's distant cousin that transferred to U of M after their first semester and was practically in love with Scourge, knowing well that he was with her. After months of watching her follow her boyfriend around like a lost puppy and endure her bitchiness towards her, Fiona took matters into her own hands, literally. Near the end of the second semester of their first year, all hell broke loose and the two got into a huge fight on campus. It took Scourge, Knuckles and Sonic to hold her down. In the end, the kitsune left with only a few scratches and her cousin was admitted to the nearest hospital to get her broken nose and teeth repaired. Thankfully for them, they were both only put on probation for the remainder of the year and weren't arrested. Now the group were starting their third year and Fiona hadn't heard a peep out of Melissa during the remainder of her stay, until she transferred once again to a different university. In her mind, it was a necessary evil that needed to be done.

"I remember that fight. Silver sent me the video. You totally kicked her ass." Fiona chuckled. "It took three guys to hold you back."

"And then when they gave up, they handed you over to Shadow and even he struggled."

The kitsune smirked. "I was stronger than the Ultimate Lifeform? Interesting.."

"Don't flatter yourself vixen. You weren't able to break out of my hold." Shadow sat down next to Rouge and across from the two. "Can't say the same for the other weaklings."

"What are you doing here Red?" He turned to Rouge.

"Mina's been bothering me for sushi for the past two hours."

Cream chuckled. "Is that the only reason?"

"Then she told the girls about this spot and I was put on the lunch run." The girls laughed. He crossed his arms over his chest and frowned, leaning back on his chair. "Hmph."

"You have it easier than Score and Pothead." He turned his attention over to Fiona this time.

"Where are they anyway?"

"Amy told them to go to the department store and buy stuff. Score called me a while ago asking me what the difference was between beige and peach." Shadow chuckled.

"Morons. They've been gone since eight so they've been there for almost four hours."

"Apparently Silver spent his entire time in the toys section." The others chuckled. Cream shook her head.

"Classic Silver."

"Dude, come on! We've been here for the past four hours and I'd like to leave sometime today."

"They have the new Superman action figure!" Scourge growled and grabbed the collar of Silver's shirt, dragging him out of the toys section.

"You're 19, have some shame." He dragged him all the way down to the checkout with his bags. Once they walked through the doors, alarms began to go off. "What the hell." A security guard approached them. He was a gray bat with white hair, green eyes and a bulging gut. He was about an inch taller than the boys.

"Sir, can I have a look in your bags?"

"I bought everything in these bags."

"These alarms are saying otherwise."

"Then you need to buy yourselves some new alarms Tiny."

"What did you just call me?"

"You heard me, or maybe you forgot to snack on your earwax today Tubby." The bat growled and grabbed the bags out of the emerald hedgehog's hands. The three walked over to the cashier from earlier.

"Look in these bags Tessie. Did you scan everything in here?"

"Let's see." She brought each item out of the bag, until she found it. "I never scanned this." Scourge growled as he stared at the Superman action figure from earlier. He turned to Silver, who grinned nervously.

"Oops?"

"So you bought everything huh?" Scourge exhaled, now regretting insulting the security guard.

"Look man, how about I pay for the toy?"

"It's not about the money, it's about the system. Let's go." They followed the bat to a room at the back of the store, Scourge never breaking the intense glare he was giving his friend. Silver sighed.

"I'll call Blaze."

"Um, what are you guys doing here?" The yellow kitsune has emerged from the bathroom to find Sally, Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Blaze and Mina standing in front of the door with blank faces. "How did you even get inside?" He was clad in just a bathrobe and was slightly uncomfortable with the tension in the room.

Knuckles smirked, twirling a bobby pin. "Being with Rouge and having Shadow as a roommate has its benefits." He rolled his eyes.

"Fascinating."

"Now is not the time for your sarcasm Miles." Amy said.

"Okay, this is serious." He sat down on the couch, resting his head on one of the cushions while the rest spread themselves out across the room. "What's up?"

Blaze exhaled. "It's about Cream." His head shot up as quick as a bullet.

"Did something happen to her?"

"No," he let out a breath of relief, "but we want to know the real reason why you broke up with her." Tails shut his eyes and sighed. "We won't judge you if you did something wrong Tails." The lavender feline persisted.

"We're here for you buddy. You can tell us." Sonic replied.

"We're worried about you Tails. You haven't been yourself ever since the break up." Sally said.

"Guys, let it go."

"How bad could it possibly be that you can't even tell us?" Mina asked.

"I thought we were your best friends man." Knuckles added.

"It really isn't that important-"

"Then why can't you tell us Tails? It must be if you-"

"I CHEATED ON HER!" The entire room fell silent. "I cheated on her and like the coward I am, I couldn't bring myself to tell her so I broke up with her to ease my own conscious."

"Tails..." Amy sighed.

"She deserves better. I promised her that I would never hurt her and I did."

"What happened?" Mina asked. He sighed yet again.

"Do you remember that party we went to a few days after Fiona's fight and how I came home the next morning with a nasty hangover?" The group nodded. "Well, before I came here, I woke up in one of the rooms with a random girl lying next to me and since I didn't remember anything, I asked her and she said that we slept together." After an awkward silence, Amy finally spoke up.

"Do you know who the girl was?" He shook his head.

"I know what she looks like though." He shut his eyes, trying to remember the girl from that night. "A hedgehog with gold fur, about 5'5, green eyes, was wearing a purple dress and a beauty mark under her left eye."

Mina growled. "That's the virgin slut Patricia." His raised an eyebrow.

"Who?"

"She has a rep for ending relationships by telling a guy she slept with them at a party after they get up from a hangover and don't remember shit. She finds pure pleasure out of ruining other peoples' lives."

"How do you know all of this?"

"She told me after I punched her in the face because I thought she slept with Shadow last year. The little nuisance sang like a canary." Tails let his head fall into his hands.

"Oh God, what have I done?" Blaze got up from her spot and sat down next to him, giving him a hug.

"It's alright hun, we'll help you get her back but you have to start with telling her what happened, no matter how crazy and unbelievable this story sounds."

"She's completely confused. Hell, all of us were until now." Amy said.

"She'll never believe me."

"You won't know unless you put yourself out there." Blaze felt her phone vibrating in her pocket.

"Hello?"

"Blaze, we need your help."

"Score? What happened?"

"Your idiot boyfriend is trying to have us thrown in jail."

"Hey, I'm not the one who insulted the security and pissed him off."

"Well I'm not the one who stole a Superman action figure in the first place, am I?!" Blaze facepalmed.

"Why did he steal a Superman action figure?"

"Don't know but with the way he's been hanging out in the toys' section for the past four hours, I'm just grateful he took nothing else."

"Where are you guys now?"

"We're in the security guy's office and he's threatening to call the cops. I called you because you're so into this law stuff and know so much about it that you could come and scare this moron."

"Silver is pretty easy to scare. I'm sure he's shaking next to you right now." She heard him chuckle.

"I meant the security guy, but yeah, I need you to knock some sense into him too."

"Alright, I'll be there in 20 minutes."

"Later." She hung up and sent out a text.

"Are you gonna help them?" Sonic asked. She nodded.

"If it were just Silver, I would've left him there for a few hours but Scourge didn't do anything wrong so I'm going because of him."

"Are you sure you handle him?" Sally asked. The feline smirked.

"I have a pretty good idea."

"Sorry, I'm not releasing them."

"And why not?"

"Because they shoplifted."

"And the green one offered to pay for the item because he didn't know that the other one accidentally had the item on him." The security guard paused for a moment.

"Don't make me report you as well." Blaze smirked.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He turned to find Shadow standing behind him.

"How did.."

"That's none of your concern. Now, you're going to take this," he handed the bat a 50 dollar bill, "and release our friends before this gets ugly."

"Are you trying to bribe me sir?" The ebony hedgehog smirked sinisterly.

"No, I'm paying for that stupid toy so you either take the money and let our friends go, or like I said before," he crushed the guard's hand, causing him to drop to him knees, "this is going to get ugly."

"Okay, okay!" Shadow released his hand. The poor bat got up off of the floor, nursing his injured hand. He took the money from Shadow and walked over to his office. "You're free to go boys. Just make sure this doesn't happen again." Shadow and Blaze fist bumped as Scourge and Silver walked out of the room.

"We owe you guys big time." She smiled at Scourge, but that smile soon disappeared the second she saw her boyfriend. He chuckled sheepishly.

"Why would you want to steal a Superman action figure?" Shadow asked the silver hedgehog, not even the least bit surprised.

"I had it in my hand when Scourge dragged me out of the toys' aisle and when we got our bags, I completely forgot that I didn't pay for it and just threw it in, thinking that I did."

Scourge shook his head. "I'm never letting you come with me to the store ever again."

"Weren't you supposed to buy lunch?" Blaze asked, turning to Shadow.

"I bought it and dropped it off at Mina's apartment then came here." He replied. Silver grinned.

"Oh lunch. What are we having?"

"Sushi." He gave Blaze a horrified look.

"You're kidding, right?" Shadow smirked and shook his head.

"Yeah, you girls have fun with your seaweed and raw fish. I'm getting myself a pizza." Scourge said as he walked out of the store.

"I'll tag along." Shadow said, following the emerald hedgehog. Silver frowned.

"What about me?" He turned to see Blaze glaring at him. "Actually, you know what? Sushi sounds awesome."

"Oh I can't wait for the new school year to begin." The girls were at Amy, Sally and Cream's apartment that evening, currently listening to the petite rabbit's gushing.

Rouge rolled her eyes. "Oh sure, you say this now, but when it actually begins, you'll regret it." Amy nodded.

"It's true. Don't let its beauty fool you." There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Sally said, getting up from her spot on the couch. She opened it to reveal Geoffrey and Tails. She gasped. "Oh my gosh!" She jumped onto him, tightening her arms around his neck. He chuckled as she hugged him harder. "When you come? Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

"I wanted it to be a surprise and I couldn't stay away from you for so long." The two have been going strong since his return to Mobius High and she couldn't have been happier. Even though he attended a university that was across the country, they managed to make it work. They would constantly text, call, video call, and would see each other whenever they came home for the holidays. "Oh," he handed her a velvet box, "happy two year anniversary beautiful."

"Aww!" Sally blushed with embarrassment as the others gushed. She opened the box to reveal a beautiful crimson and white watch, with real diamonds decorating the outlining of it. She let a tear slip and placed on her mouth.

"Geoffrey, this is beautiful." She closed the box and placed it on the table next to the door. She wrapped her arms around his waist, once again squeezing him. "I love it, thank you so much." He placed a kiss on her forehead and held her tight. Tails had slowly managed his way through the door and in front of Cream who was sitting on the love seat.

"Um, Cream? Could I talk to you for a minute please?" She was surprised to hear his voice, let alone him speaking to her. She opened her mouth to respond, but she stayed like that for a minute, unsure of what to say. "Please Cream, just five minutes. I'm begging you." She finally closed her mouth and bit her lip, nodding. She got up and led him to her room, closing the door behind her. He made himself comfortable on her bed as she stood in front of the door, feeling slightly uncomfortable for some reason. He chuckled. "Cream, I'm not going to bite. Come sit down." He patted on the spot next to him. She hesitated at first, but slowly made her way towards him and sat down, leaving a good distance between the pair. She was getting goosebumps being near him and she was pretty sure he could notice then due to her tank top and fleece pajama shorts.

"What did you want to talk about Miles?" He exhaled, knowing full well that she wouldn't call him Tails, at least not now.

"Cream, I.. I wanted to explain to you why I broke up with you, and to tell you that I've never stopped loving you, and want us to get back together." She stared at him intensely, signalling him to continue. He told her about what happened that night, her gaze never once leaving him. "I felt so guilty and didn't have the courage to tell you this face to face. I broke a huge promise on you. To never hurt you. I didn't even tell the others what happened until today, and they talked some sense into me. I was acting stupid and childish. I should've been mature about it and told you in person, not a few weeks from your graduation. Congratulations by the way. I heard you named valedictorian." She smiled slightly.

"Where is this leading to Tails?"

"Mina told me today that that girl has a rep for destroying lives and that she never really did sleep with me, just made me believe that I did. It didn't help that she was also following me around like a lost puppy for almost a year. I didn't really believe Mina, although I should've, but it sounded so impractical. I went to the security room in the university today and watched the footage from that night. I passed out next to her and she stripped me and put a sheet on me. Afterwards, she fell asleep right beside me as if nothing had happened. Cream I know this all sounds crazy but you have to believe me. I haven't been the same since we broke up. I'm always angry and irritable and just not myself. Please Cream, please forgive me and let's go back to the way things were. I love you too much to let you go." She saw a tear roll down his cheek and it broke her heart. To see someone who loved her this much in so much pain was destroying her. She couldn't stomach it. She leaned forward and wiped the tear from his face with her thumb, leaving her palm to rest on his warm cheek. She missed his warmth.

"Tails, you broke my heart. You took it and crushed it into a million pieces. I never thought anybody was capable of doing that, but you were. I gave you every bit of me and you took it with you when you walked out of my life. I was lost for those few months. Just like you, I was unrecognizable. I didnt know who I was anymore. I wanted nothing more than to be in your arms, to hear you say my name the way you do, and for you to tell me that you love me. Now that I'm hearing all of this, I just don't know how to react." She scooted closer to him, leaving zero space between them. She placed her head on his chest, letting him wrap his arms around her. She began to sob. "We've been together for almost four years. Four goddamn years, and for you to just end things so easily, it hurt me. It hurt me so much. It made me think you honestly didn't love me enough to do that." He ran his fingers through hair and rubbed her back.

"I know Cream. I know, and I regret ever hurting you." She wiped her tears away and looked up at him, surprising him when she placed her lips on his. She missed kissing him. Hell, she missed everything about this guy. She wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing him closer to her as he wrapped his arms around her waist. The two stayed like this for a while, until Cream pulled away, much to Tails' dismay.

"I've missed doing that." He smiled sadly.

"So, what do you think we should do? Because I really want to be with you Cream." She sighed and looked up at him, the only person that she'll ever love.

"I want to be with you too." He grinned.

"Really?" She chuckled, and nodded. "Okay, I should do this right." He pulled out a pink rose from his backpack. He got down on one knee in front of Cream who was still sitting on her bed. "Cream, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

She giggled. "Again." He raised his eyebrow but shrugged.

"Okay. Cream, will you-"

"No, I meant, be your girlfriend again." He finally understood what she meant and chuckled.

"Again?" She nodded. She jumped into his arms once again and the two shared a passionate kiss. They could hear cheering from outside her door and pulled apart, giving each other a knowing look. They got up and walked to the door. They opened it to find the girls, and now all of the guys, standing before them, all of them, minus Shadow, with grins plastered on their faces. Cream chuckled.

"Yes guys, we're back together now quit smiling like that. It's creepy." The two were tackled in hugs.

"Finally! Now we can stop having to split our time up between the two of you." Fiona said as she squeezed the life out of Tails.

"Yeah, that was really annoying by the way." Sonic said, giving Tails a noggie. There was another knock at the door.

"I got it." Mina said and raced to the door. She opened it to find a fox holding a pizza box standing before her.

"Pizza delivery."

"We didn't order a pizza." Mina replied.

"It's for a.." he looked at the receipt, "Knuckles Echidna."

"Yes, finally!" He took the pizza from the tiny teenager and slammed the door in his face. Everyone gave him an odd look. "Do you really think I ate that sushi?"

Mina gasped. "Where did you put it?" He pointed at the fridge. She ran to it and opened it, bringing out the food. "I thought you threw it out."

He shook his head. "Do you think I'm stupid? I live with your boyfriend, who has rage issues, and I am not about to piss him off because of you and sushi."

"Smart choice Knucklehead." He rolled his eyes at his roommate.

"I think you only live with him because the others are too scared of him." Sally said.

Amy scoffed. "I'm scared for Sonic. He wouldn't be here right now if I had let him bunk with Shads."

"Hey, I ain't scared of him." Scourge said proudly. "Unlike the blue moron, I know when to hold my tongue."

Shadow nodded. "I could actually tolerate you. Silver and Sonic are the only ones who probably wouldn't make it until sundown."

Silver rolled his eyes. "Whatever." Fiona chuckled and brought out a bottle of champagne.

"We need to celebrate the reconciliation of my favorite couple." She poured fourteen glasses of the sparkling drink for each person in the room.

"The couple themselves are children." Silver said, taking their glasses. Amy brought out her hammer.

"Then we won't tell Vanilla nor Uncle Chuck. Now, give them back their drinks." He chuckled nervously and handed the pair back their drinks. Tails chuckled.

"You know you guys aren't even at legal drinking age either, right?"

Silver rolled his eyes. "Alright. Touché." He turned to the auburn fox. "Hey, why are they your favorite couple?"

She shrugged. "I don't know. I just find them so cute together."

"Wow, we've all been with each other for almost the same amount of time."

"Not really. Amy and Sonic have been together for like six years. You and Blaze have been together for three years-"

"Yeah. I got mad hallway cred for being with a girl older than me." Blaze rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Good times."

"Wait, so how are you both in the same year?" Geoffrey asked.

"I skipped first grade."

"Anyways," they all turned their attention back to the kitsune, "Rouge and Knuckles have been together for five years, Shadow and Mina have been together for four years, Scourge and I two and a half years, and Sally and Geoffrey have been together for 2 years. I'm confused on how to count your relationship though Cream." The rabbit thought for a moment.

"How about, we keep our relationship the way it is and act like we weren't separated for three months?"

Tails nodded. "It'd be really confusing to calculate our new anniversary date."

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Scourge whispered into Fiona's ear. She nodded and followed him out the door.

"Where did they go?" Rouge asked. Knuckles shrugged. Outside the apartment, Fiona turned straight ahead at her boyfriend, wondering what he could possibly want to talk about.

"What's wrong Score?" He smiled.

"Nothing much." He handed her a tiny velvet box. "Happy anniversary."

She chuckled. "Our anniversary was back in December Scourge. It's August now."

"I know but my present wasn't ready back then. Now it is." For their second anniversary, Scourge had taken them to a Broadway show a few hours away from the university and dinner at a five star hotel.

"Score, I loved our anniversary." He smirked. "Really, the present isn't necessary."

"Open the box Fi, please and if you refuse to keep it, I'm not joking when I say that I'll uppercut you." She let a fake gasp.

"Scourgey, I'm surprised at you." He chuckled as he rolled his eyes at the nickname. She opened the tiny box and gasped. Inside were a pair of 18K gold pearl earrings. She let out a gasp, a real one this time. "Scourge, I.. I don't know what to say."

"You like it?"

"I love it." She wrapped her arms around his middle. "Thank you baby."

"No problem. I know it's no engagement ring, but I can guarantee you one in the near future." She looked up and into his icy blue eyes.

"Really?"

"Of course. You're the only woman I can picture myself being with." She grinned.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too." She rested her head on his chest.

"We've come such a long way, haven't we?" He nodded.

"We really have, and I wouldn't change a damn thing."

Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it's called falling in love because you don't force yourself to fall, you just fall.

You've all given me such a boost of confidence in my writing that I never wouldn't have had if I hadn't began writing on FFN. I also want to thank you for following me on this incredible journey and watching my writing and skills improve (I'm kind of terrified to read my first chapter.) It took so long for me to finish this story but we finally did it.
