Why Fleeting? Small story.

Sasori sat across from his blonde partner, chocolate eyes narrowed.

"Art is erternal brat."

"Fleeting, yeah!" Deidara shot back. Both were in the heat of their everyday arguement. It was obvious that art was eternal, why work so hard on something and have it explode? Fleeting was not true art, only an amature would think that.

"Art should last forever!"

"Art never lasts forever!"

It was always a never ending cycle. Sasori would say Eternal and Deidara would say Fleeting. Neither ever won nor lost in this battle, there was never a conclusion.

No one knew who started it first, but there was one thing for certain, there would never be a winner. Both Artists glared at each other as intense pressure crackled in the room.

"Art is a bang!"

"Che, you call those explosions fine art? Fine art is something wonderful that's left long into the future, eternal beauty."

"No it isn't, yeah!" Deidara growled, "Fine art is the beauty of that single fleeting moment of explosion!"

Why is it fleeting?" Sasori demanded, having finally had enough of this.

He had never asked a question such as this before. Normally they'd shout back bang or eternal, but neither had asked for an explanation...until now.

Deidara was caught off gaurd. He wasn't expecting this from the puppet. Sadness began to emerge from the depths of his pale blue eyes.

"Because art is like happiness, it never lasts." He answered dejectedly, "You work hard to make happiness, but then, right when you catch hold of it, it slips right through your fingers. It only lasts for an instant, hmm."

Sasori blinked in shock, he didn't know how deep the meaning of art was too Deidara.

"Why is art eternal, yeah?" The Bomber asked, tilting his head slightly to one side.

He was silent before answering, "Because happiness should last forever."

Sorta short...It was something that popped into my head, Why? And since I'm writing a story about Deidara's painful life and stuff, I came up with an answer, for both Sasori and Deidara.
