Mashiro thought and thought about it. It has been many days since the rumors about him and Azuki being together swirled on the web. He wondered if he should do something about it becomes it gets too late…

After all, they hadn't done anything wrong. They haven't even met each other for all this time, just working hard towards their dream and their love. The ignorant people online had no right to say that Azuki was impure or that they were bastards.

And the rumors were over exaggerated too. They were famous and they were voice actors and mangakas but… They were human too. They fell in love, they made mistakes, they did many things that every normal person did.

Mashiro was reminded of his uncle. He had always thought that he was invincible and that the man would forever work hard at drawing. But his uncle had died from over-working. Mangakas weren't invicible despite popular belief.

And he thought that his uncle was married to manga. He was wrong about that too. After seeing all those love letters gently tucked in the box, he realized that he was wrong. He realized how the world isn't how it seems and that mangakas were only human.

Thus, he wondered how he can help Azuki and stop the rumors online. He wanted them to understand; to understand their feelings and their promise. Their love was impure or corrupted or anything like that.

But what could get to connect to our feelings and believe in our pure love? What could get them to stop all the flames and lies spread on the internet?

That was when it hit him.

"Shujin." Said man looked up and saw his partner's determined eyes. After being with him for a long time, he had a feeling to expect what would come next. He grinned,

"Sure."

Mashiro allowed himself to smile too. They were going to do this. Solve their own problem in their own way. As a man, it was his duty to protect his love, Azuki, from danger. Whether it be physically or mentally.

Next Week

"Oi, Saiko, look!" Shujin shoved a newspaper into his face. He read it with a twinge of happiness.

So it worked, huh.

Mashiro read an article about flames dying down on the web and many people starting to support Azuki again.

Below it were reviews of their latest masterpiece…

It was called Bakuman. It was about the love between a mangaka and a voice actor…

And their promise.
