"'Gure! Are you here?" Ayame trilled as he entered his cousin's home. He looked around the lower floor, in a quick attempt at finding his cousin, while hoping to catch a glimpse of his brother. Sighing softly, Ayame walked into the kitchen, prepared to make himself a cup of tea as he made himself at home and waited for Shigure to get home. "Oh hi, Kyonkichi!" he cried when he spotted the person he loved teasing above all else.

Kyou winced at the name. "Don't call me that!" Grabbing his glass of milk and plate of cookies, Kyou attempted to beat a hasty retreat, but stupid cousin was blocking the way.

"Have you seen my darling little brother anywhere? Or 'Gure for that matter? He wanted to show me his latest novel, full of teenaged angst and young love. It's the story of two girls at this rich boarding school who are engaging in forbidden love!"

Before Ayame could say another word, Kyou colored darkly and shouted, "NO! I have not read Shigure's disgusting filth he calls a novel and I don't care how well they sell!"

Ayame blinked. "Oh…" A sly smile tugged the corners of his lips upwards. "I bet Miss Tohru reads them… 'Gure told me his work is very popular in her age group…" he purred.

Kyou sputtered wordlessly. Finding his voice, he shouted, "She's too pure to read such trash!"

Ayame chuckled. "Tsk, tsk, now you sound just like my darling little Yuki," he trilled as Kyou pushed past him to storm out of the kitchen. He sighed softly. Sometimes you make it too easy, Kyonkichi…
