Author's note: Sorry, first chapter is very short. The rest will be much longer!

One of the absolute worst expiriences in life is seeing someone so held-together and knowing that very deep down, they are broken. So horribly broken that a normal human would not be able to get up in the morning. However, Uzumaki Naruto was most certainly not a normal human. The absolute main target of the Akatsuki; Uzumaki Naruto, the Nine-Tailed fox spirit's jinchuuriki. He held power within him that succeeded all other. If he let the seal holding the demon inside of him break, nothing could stand in his way. There are drawbacks that come with such substantial power, of course.
"Letting the demon out of the cage within his very being is both emotionally and physically tiring for him. The best chance we have at obtaining him would very likely be after he has weakened himself." a calm voice sounded from a corner; Uchiha Itachi. The traitor of the Uchiha clan and the sole reason Naruto's first friend had fled Konoha. The date was October 3rd. In a dark room, hidden deep within the confines of a cave, sat the remaining members of the Akatsuki. A small few had been killed in battle against the nine tails boy and his friends.
"Then it's all settled. Our plans have been made, and we are ready to put them into action. Let us set out." The heads showing out of the top of black and red coats mustered quick nods before the rogue nin each set out in different directions.

Itachi had always enjoyed the feeling of the air as he ran. It whipped against his face and reminded him of the true beauty of nature. Nearly seven hours had passed since he set out on his mission, and the Uchiha knew he should rest for a few moments. A convinient river made itself apparent several minutes later and he stopped against a tree to catch his breath. Being the man he was, however, he did not take very long before setting out once more. About seven hours in. Naruto-kun should be half an hour away by this time. I suppose Kisame and the others have set everything up, by now. Itachi quickened his pace in anticipation.
To his surpirse, he reached his destination nearly ten minutes earlier than expected. He knelt in a hidden perch high up on a tree, checking whether everything was in place. It seems as though they've managed to set it all up. Making a mental note to congradulate his team members on finally doing something right, Itachi rested against the tree until he heard the subtle sound of running. A smirk graced his lips as he prepared to capture his prey.
