The look Nick was giving him was seriously starting to scare him.

"Is there something wrong, Nick?" said cop blinked hard coming out of his thoughts. Monroe stared across the table at his friend, he was really only joking when he had made it clear to Nick that he really didn't know his favorite color. Okay well at least a little. Monroe stared deep into Nick's eyes, trying to find some hidden secret in them. Nick felt his face growing warm under the blutbad's intense stare. He didn't mean to zone out of the clockmaker but he just could not stop thinking about something that had been nagging him.

A couple more minutes and squirming on Nick's part later, he spoke up, "um... Monroe are you ticklish?"

Monroe's eyes widened to saucers, is this man serious, he decided to test the water's a little.

"So what if I am?" big doe eyes blink "so are you?" Monroe smirked pushing away from the table. He walked slowly towards his couch leaving a perplexed detective at his dining room table. Monroe leaned back onto the couch arm, "how do you plan to find out," finally Nick caught on. Blushing even deeper, he sat on the couch beside the smirking blutbad. Monroe put his hands behind his head relaxing back on the couch arm, "go on. Touch me anywhere you please." Azure eyes slitted, "this seems like a set-up," "nope, only an invitation."

Pale hands reached for his abdomen, working at it slowly and gradually picking up pace. Monroe only stared. The same went for his neck. Nick leaned away knowing that he had tested all of the possible tickle spots. Monroe shifted a bored expression on his face. It hit the exhausted grim then, what about Monroe's thigh? Is it ticklish? He shrugged might as well try. He waited until the blutbad was looking away to make his attack. One...two... three! He dove for the thigh. Monroe jumped out of his skin, never expecting the Portland detective to tickle him there. He busted out laughing trying with all his might to get away. Nick laughed along with him, enjoying a little bit more than was probably appropriate at how Monroe was panting and shifting in front of him. Finally he let go more than satisfied with the outcome. Monroe gasped for air.

"So what was that you were saying earlier about me not knowing you?" The blutbad scoffed," what this barely counts as knowing me," Nick leaned in close," I could always try again."

Monroe jumped off the couch, "no thank you, I think you know enough actually." he could swear he had heard the detective purr," I don't think so, Monroe," He replied smoothly. The grim stood up then walking him into a wall, "I don't think we've even scratched the surface, Eddie." They were mere inches apart now. Monroe swallowed deep, "what else do you want to know?"

Nick paused thinking of a good answer, "depends on how far you're willing to go."
