A/N: I know I'm supposed to be working on "Water In The Brain" but I'm really upset right now and I don't want the chapter to suck because of it. I wrote this to try and get some of my feelings out. My great grandma has an isn't expected to make it through the night. So, this is decicated to her. Hope you like it.

Hope

He couldn't believe this was happening. It was really happening.

He knew from the beginning that his grandma wasn't going to make it through this. The possibility of her passing on just seemed that more real now.

They thought she was going to pass away three weeks ago, but she was still here.

When he was little he used to think that his Grandma Knight was a superhero. She could and would do anything to make anyone happy. She was just that type of person.

One his favorite things to do with Grandma Knight was bake (not that Kendall would ever admit that to his friends). The thought of never being able to do the things he loved doing with her ever again scared Kendall.

He wasn't stupid; he knew that his grandma would pass on someday. He just wished that it didn't have to be this way.

Seeing his grandma suffering so much because of an infection broke his heart. Not to mention that she was blind and couldn't even feed herself.

He just hoped that when she passed she wouldn't be suffering.

His friends were doing everything they could to comfort him and help him through this. But it wasn't enough it would never be enough.

They were on summer break so at least he didn't have to focus on school.

He just wanted to spend time with his grandma before she passed. Even the doctors were starting to lose hope that she would make it through this infection.

But Kendall refuses give up hope.

The doctors also kept saying that if she got one more infection or even a common that her body wouldn't be able to fight it off. She was too weak.

But again Kendall refused to believe them.

He would never give up hope, no matter what anyone told him.

A/N: I hope you liked it. I know it was short but it was meant to Kendall's feeling and thoughts on the stitutation.
