Derek needed a plan. The hospital security guard needed to get the doctors attention. But how? How can he get a doctor to notice him? That doctor with the blond curly hair, thin body frame and hazel eyes.

What does a doctor do?

Derek looked across the room. He raised an eyebrow.

Spencer was talking to one of his patients when he heard a small comotion. He looked up from the man he was checking to see a dark skinned man on the floor.

Spencer turned to his patient. "Will you take care of this one?" He asked another doctor.

The man nodded as he too was staring at the man on the floor.

Spencer quickly made his way over. "Are you alright?"

Derek lightly hissed. "No. I think I broke my ankle."

Spencer leaned down. "Can you move your toes?"

Derek moved his toes and hissed. "It's a little painful." He said.

Spencer nodded. "How did this happen?"

Derek blinked as he stared around the hospital. "I tripped. I'm just a big clumsy guy."

Spencer looked down at Dereks leg. "You're going to need to get up so I can check you in a room."

"I might need some help."

Spencer nodded and put an arm under Dereks.

Derek tried not to put too much wait on the skinny doctor. He hissed as he got to his feet.

Spencer brought his cool hands to Dereks ankle and foot. Gently squeezing. He took a deep breath and looked up at the man laying in the bed. Spencer raised an eyebrow.

"Let me take your temp." He stuffed a themometor in the mans mouth. Then pulled his stethiscope to Dereks chest. He nodded his head. "Hm."

Derek stared. "What?" He asked worriedly.

Spencer just nodded again. "I'll need to run some tests." He turned and just as he was about to leave the room, he yelped.

Dereks brows raised. He jumped off the bed and ran to the young doctor. He kneeled. "Are you alright?"

Spencer stared at the man. "Yes." He shook his head.

"Come on." Derek helped the doctor to his feet.

Spencer was now on his feet. "Thank you. I cant believe..." He was looking at Dereks feet, both on the floor. He looked back up at the man.

Derek looked down. "Oh." He bit his bottom lip, hissed and lifted his foot. "It hurts. It really, really hurts."

Spencer stared with an amused expression. "It was your other foot."

"Oh." Derek said.

Spencer smiled and shook his head.
